I laughed that these projects always start with quick sketches, then there's self set rule “30 minutes per page max!!” rule, and then there's “rules are meant to be broken :] ”

But it was important scene! We won't have chance to see him so happy and full of wonder anymore... Not openly at least.

I initially planned this as an illustration for Chapter 5, “Unmade, Remade,” but now I think it fits better as the cover for the “Wisdom's Shadow” arc, where Nahida makes the difficult decision to devise a plan to convey the truth about the events in Tatarasuna 400 years ago to Balladeer.
