This was so fun to do. I love drawing with a time limit because it helps get me out of my head. Rolling dice for a random word/s also helps get me out of my comfort zone. I haven’t posted in a while, so I thought I’d post one of my previous paintings (but I’ve fixed it up a bit so it looks a bit better haha) as well as ramble a bit haha I had so many New Years resolutions, so many things I wanted to start on January 1st, but my body had other plans. I woke up that morning with an insane migraine (which has lasted days). So, I’m a bit behind on my plans, but I haven’t given up. I have lost a bit of motivation to draw, so I thought I’d start the year out doing a few DTIYS hosted by some amazing artists. I have tons of art related goals for this year, and I’m feeling pretty optimistic about it. I’ve also started doing yoga again, in an attempt to start taking my health (both mental and physical) more seriously. This also means sticking to a more reasonable drawing schedule (no more 16 hour sessions haha). On top of all my art and health goals, I am also starting to study. I know it sounds like a lot haha but I like to be doing something haha my mind battles to relax. I’ve made it a priority not to take on too much in a day, and to take breaks when I need to. Something I wouldn’t allow myself previously. I know this is a long post haha I’m so sorry. I’ll end it off with this. I know 2020 was unbelievably hard for most people, and the uncertainty of what 2021 holds is daunting. I honestly hope everyone has their best year, and that it brings you all one step closer to any goals you may have. Aaaand she’s done. While adding colour to her, I realized she looks a lot like my OC, Luna Fae hahaha. Her name in WoW is even LunaFae 😅😅 I guess this is her as a blood elf now. This is inspired by Billie Eilish’s song, All the good girls go to hell. I am not too sure where I want to go with this yet, but I liked the draft and decided to keep it. What’s your favourite Billie song? This is another work in progress. I am finding it hard to finish a sketch these days, so I hope these will do for now haha. What do you do to unwind or take care of your mental health? I love to read or do yoga. They both help for different reasons. Reading helps me escape reality and get engulfed in a fantasy. Yoga helps me calm down, clear my mind. I’m always more at ease and happier afterwards.
