Anyway, right now is, Kakyoin and [Y/N] had decided to get married, considering the strong connection and bond with each other.

"[Y/N]? Hey, why are you crying?" Kakyoin walked over to his wife, carrying their six-year old son, [S/N].

"I-It's nothing— It's just... t-this onion..." [Y/N] sniffed, wiping her tears away with her sleeves as she continued to cut the onions.

Kakyoin puts [S/N] down on the ground, letting him to free roam for now before he glares at the onions. "What did you do to [Y/N], you devil!"

[Y/N] looked over to Kakyoin, confused for a second before she started to burst out laughing.

"Oh Nori, it's fine! The onion didn't mean it." [Y/N] smiled softly, being shorter than Kakyoin, she went on her tip-toes to give him a kiss.

Kakyoin smiled, returning the action. Soon, it did get heated - [Y/N]'s husband pushing her against the wall, his large hands resting on both sides of her waist.

"Mommy? Daddy? Wha—" [S/N] came inside the kitchen, only to be greeted by the scene infront of him. "Eww! You two are disgusting!" [S/N] giggles, ruining the heated moment between Kakyoin and [Y/N].

"[S/N]! Hey, you didn't see anything!" Kakyoin panicked. "I thought... you were just watching... Paw Patrol?"

"Noriaki! Let me cook!"

"Right!" Kakyoin lets go of [Y/N], but not without whispering into her ear.

"We're continuing this later on, though."

What a beautiful night, am I right? [Y/N] turns 16 tomorrow, though it’s not as cheerful as she thought it would be. Sweet 16? More like,,, Death 16.

She was going to die tomorrow. Exactly at 12 am.

If only she knew, she could’ve already tried to search for her soulmate earlier. Maybe, if she was able to predict the future... she wouldn’t be suffering like this; but no, she couldn’t. She had no choice.

'I really thought that I had a chance...'

[Y/N] was lost in her thoughts. She almost lost track of time on the way to the park as she walked through the peaceful streets of Morioh.

11:11 P.M.

What was the point of making a wish? She was going to die anyway. Despite that, she still made a wish. She wanted hope, a chance, maybe.

"What a waste of time..." You sighed as tears started to blur your vision — your thoughts getting clouded with memories you have made over the past 15 years of your life.

'I wish that I’d... cherished those moments more.'

You sat down on the bench, smoke coming out of your mouth as you exhaled. It was a cold, summer night. You didn’t even bring a jacket with you — you were left with a shirt and a pair of jeans.

Suddenly, you felt a pair of jacket drop over you.

"Um... I thought you seemed cold so..." The stranger behind you had the softest, but deep voice that you have ever heard in your whole entire life. "I didn’t want to leave you freezing! I’m sorry if I... creeped you out. I swear, I-I’m not a predator!"

You turned around, greeted by a 6 ft tall teenager with a unique pompadour hairstyle that you admired for a minute straight.

"H-Hello?"

You quickly knocked some senses into yourself, shaking your head. "A-Ah- Sorry! It’s just that... your hair... it’s amazing, it caught me off guard." You nervously laughed, hoping that you didn’t offend him or anything like that.

"Really? Ah, thank you! I'm Josuke Higashikata. What are you doing outside in the cold not wearing a jacket at all anyway?" The boy introduced himself with a smile, a small blush threatening to spread.

"Ah... well, it’s kind of my last day in Earth..." You awkwardly responded. "[Y/N] [L/N], by the way."

Josuke was of course, caught off guard. What did you mean about this night, being our last moments in Earth? Were you about to die?

"I don’t have any injuries or medical conditions! It’s just that... I haven’t found my soulmate yet. I’m literally about to die at 15." You chuckled.

"15...? You’re turning 16?" Josuke asked, his eyes widening but you chose to ignore it.

"Well, yeah. Unfortunate, right?"

11:58 P.M.

You spent your last moments with a stranger who you met minutes ago. You’re not afraid to admit how much of a gentleman Josuke actually is - he was gentle, comforting and quite hilarious.

But...

Why did you suddenly feel this connection between the boy and yourself?

"Thank you for spending my last moments with me stargazing, Josuke-san. I really enjoyed it." You smiled with your eyes closed, tears threatening to fall anytime soon.
