I like to think about non/alterhumans in their everyday lives.

There is a rabbit who made your sandwich.

An elderich being teaches a math course.

The local werewolf takes care of the elderly.

Rams make up the staff at a pub nearby.

Dragons make excellent library workers.

Your favorite cashier happens to be a lion.

Your overly punctual classmate is a moth, and your less than punctual classmate is a hummingbird.

A goldfinch shops at a gift shop.

A catfish tours you through a historical site.

Across the street is a banshee who is walking their dog.

Cats work on their computers in small cafes.

And you move through your life as you are.

We are unique but certainly not alone. Your community is around you, even if you do not see it outright.

This is going to be hard for a lot of people to hear but if you want to make your spaces safer for disabled people, then you need to stop assuming malice from every poorly worded post.

A lot of neurodivergencies and disabilities cause people to ramble, lose their train of thought very easily, go on tangents, have disordered thinking, etc. We can get words and names mixed up very easily, lose words entirely, struggle to put our thoughts into actual words that make sense to people, and lose track of conversations. Whether it's from ADHD, psychosis, brain fog, brain damage, or any other condition, thinking and verbalizing ourselves can be really fucking hard.

This isn't malicious. We aren't doing it on purpose to hurt or upset people, and we aren't ignorant about the topic just because we get mixed up. We deserve to have voices, even if we don't always make sense to other people.

Welcome to The Amazing Digital Rebirth!

This AU channel is an alt account if @invy-glitchel , on that account I focus on all of my art, but on here I focus only on The Amazing Digital Rebirth! So let's get everything started!:

Official characters in this AU: Pomni, Ragatha, Zooble, Jax, Kinger, Queenie, Caine, Bubble, Gangle, Kaufmo, Able, Gummigoo, Max, Chad, and basically every other NPC that's actually in the show!

Non-Offical characters: Mr. Twisty ( My oc )

Lore dump!:

Lore outline: The amazing digital Rebirth where every non-NPC has control over their designs and environment! But most importantly: Pomni CHOSE and wants to be in the circus!

How does Abstraction work?: Abstraction is a bit different in this AU. Once someone goes insane they don't turn into a monster, their digital body turns to dust, meanwhile their soul turns into a gem that is the shape of what defined them. For example; Queenie's shape is a emerald Bee, and Kaufmo's shape is a ruby clown nose. Once someone abstracts it's forever peace, their soul is at rest, but for some, they can come back. When most abstract their gem will burn hot when you try to touch it, that's showing that their happy with being gone, but if their gem is slightly cold, and you can hold it, then that means they can come back and talk through their gem.

What's the deal with Kaufmo and Queenie having bodies?: Since their souls are in a gem that means that they can get new bodies! Kinger kept Queenie's gem on his ring, and still does, to always keep Queenie around, but later on Caine figured out how to get her old model back. Meanwhile Pomni is the one who got Kaufmo's gem back. The longer someone has been abstracted the more physical signs they'll have, like how Queenie has scars and has ash-like dust on her cloak fur. Meanwhile Kaufmo looks the same since he just abstracted.

Is this world better or worse than real life?: Better! Caine only adds those who were on the brink of life or those who didn't like their reality anymore in the Digital Circus, hence why he calls it The Digital Rebirth now.

All of this information is only the most basic information, if you ever want to know about something, just ask!

God bless Micheal Kovach for voicing all of N’s anguish cause this poor soul lost his best friend/ex-crush, found out his mother/big sister has been dead for years and processed by his Little Sister who is also long since dead and taken over by a chaotic AI, and then his kinda girlfriend also sacrificed herself for him.

Our poor boy has been been through so much and lost everyone he has ever loved in a matter of a few hours. AND I FELT ALL! OF! IT!!

I like that Gooseworx has gone on record on saying that there's no romance in the show...yet this still feeds fans crumbs for what's a wholesome ship.

Yes, you can read these interactions as a platonic and wholesome friendship of Zooble trying to help someone going through it the MOST in this nightmare hellscape. And in that regard, it IS pretty sweet, with Zooble acting like the kind of friend that Gangle needs.

However, it's also so much fun reading it as a romantic relationship with Zooble and Gangle trying to make the best out of their hell and finding love. Especially since you can read these interactions as Zooble being the one who fell first and is putting the moves on Gangle while Gangle is slowly falling back. It's beautiful.

One sad side effect of big box stores is that you just don’t get lifelong hyper fixation guy access like you used to.

Like yeah I can go to Menards and buy a door.

But it used to be I could go to the door store, and speak to a man whose sole passion in life was doors and who would talk about the history of door insulation patterns over the last 50 years without stopping to breathe.

That man is gonna find me the BEST door option for me.

Seriously my neighborhood had one of these. They were across the street from the lighting shop owned by the guy who could tell you the exact date, off the top of his head, that your property got electrical wiring based on your address.

Now these guys rarely get to own a shop, make a good living, and sell the very finest doors for decades. They’re relegated to Reddit posts which are informative but ultimately do not replace door guy having a door shop.

I don’t want to talk to some miserable, underpaid 20 year old who was in plumbing last week and in doors this week and doesn’t know a hammer from a hanger.

I want my door guy back.
