err, you may have seen my activity go down to basically zero over the last few weeks, and it’s 100% because of me, lacking motivation. i really wish i could interact with y’all and get done starters that i said i’ll do, but my motivation is almost nonexistent. i really love you all, and i super duper hope i’ll get back into the mood at some point!! my dis//cord is always open (ʟɪɢʜᴛ ♡#6770) && i’ll get back to you whenever i can, whenever i’m in the mood!!

Holy shit – I don’t have the time to make a fancy promo graphic, because y’know boarding school is boarding school. I still remember the day I made this blog “wow, wouldn’t it be neat if I referenced 999 in a tumblr blog?” & then nonary-successor was made. I ended up leaving due to school & came back as hcffnung, & now I’m getting my shit together & staying here as mxssias. I’ve made posts on how important Makoto is to me, & it makes me so happy that people enjoy my portrayal enough for me to get 430+ followers! It’s incredible! Stupendous! Magnificent – I really don’t know how to elucidate what I feel when I see all my mutuals & how great they are & how my interpretation of Makoto is not a failure.

Taking the ball into his hand, he gives the other a smile. What good luck, receiving a baseball signed by Kuwata!

"Uhm... Happy Birthday, Komaeda-kun." - A short bow and a flustered face was all that was given at first. - "I... Got you something. B-but I'm scared... Maybe it doesn't fit your tastes..." - He held a rectangular box in his hands, a present wrapped in aqua blue paper with green clovers patterns. - "It's... a kaleidoscope. I... I think it's somewhat cool. D-didn't know what I could should buy since we never talked before... I... I'm sorry..."

~ ✧ “Ahaha, well, what gift it is doesn’t matter, but what matters is that you were CONSIDERATE enough to give such lowly scum a gift..! We may have never spoken before, and you may have heard about my birthday from others who I’m acquainted with, but it still makes me HAPPY that you wanted to give me a gift. A kaleidoscope is INTRIGUING to me anyway, so you don’t have to WORRY much!”

Despite the other being a stranger, he accepted the gift. What was the harm of doing so, anyway? He found it kind of funny, how even somebody who he didn’t know would want to give him a gift as well. Perhaps he doesn’t know of the facts spread around regarding him?

"Happy birthday, Komaeda-kun!" The reserve course beamed as he reached out a terrarium, where a rather... familiar looking moth was sitting inside. "Gonta thought that Komaeda-kun could need a friend to have with him, since he always seems a little... melancholy." That was one way one could describe it. "So Gonta got one of his nicest friends and thought he'd let Komaeda-kun take care of him." It is a death's-head hawkmoth. Happy birthday have this symbol of death.

~ ✧ “I’m thankful, Gokuhara-kun! It’s… An INTERESTING moth, to say the least, but still. Thank you for your gift! I’ll make sure to take GOOD care of him, but I hope my luck doesn’t get to this POOR creature.”

He takes the terrarium into his hands, gazing into it and at the moth that fluttered within. Internally, he planned a funeral for the moth, since he knew it wouldn’t last too long knowing his luck. Well, it’ll die with him at least TRYING to keep it alive. A gift’s a gift—it’d be rude not to accept it.

“Hey, Komaeda. It's your birthday, isn't it?" He had scribbled it on his calendar a while back, but he always had to ask before he did anything just to be polite. Hinata approaches the luckster nervously holding what seems to be a silver clover necklace and a couple of tickets. "I was...wondering if you'd maybe want to see a movie with me? There's a new horror-mystery out, and...uh. If you have someone else in mind, keep the tickets and you can ask them. I just... wanted to give you something."

~ ✧ “Hinata-kun got me a gift..? Aha, I can’t believe you remembered that it’s my birthday..! And you got me multiple gifts, too. Hmm, I wonder what bad luck will come from such a good moment! I’m getting SHIVERS just from the thought.” 

He accepts the necklace, holding it up to his eyes to examine it more clearly. The light reflected off of it, blinding him slightly. The luckster couldn’t help but smile at the necklace, placing it around his neck and holding his hand over the clover, which was over his chest.

“And I’d LOVE to see the movie with you, Hinata-kun. I wouldn’t go with anybody else. But to think that you’d want to see a movie with somebody like me…” 

That may be a bit UNTRUTHFUL, since there was Nanami—but was Hinata serious about watching a movie together? He could almost hardly believe it, since he’s such DISTASTEFUL trash… Even if it was an act, he was still happy.
