Red Moon

***Disclaimer - I don’t own this quote from Wolf’s Rain. I am only sharing it because it is one of my favorite quotes. I have already made a post that some of the work posted on my page was going to simply be a retelling and that is what this is****

The Beast lives his life in silence, abiding where the blessing of the blood of the gods is bestowed on him. The White Flower, after winning the favor of the lord of the night, will share her scent, preordained and eternal in countenance is of the lily white supple maiden. She distills and condenses all of time, until it becomes a precious frozen mass. Only then will appear the wretched beast.” 

I’m not quite sure why I like this quote so much considering who actually says it in the show, but there a beauty in there that I can’t quite place. It fits perfectly with the feel of the wolves protecting the Flower Maiden but at the same time if taken out of context it speaks on its own. Even if I didn’t know where this was from or know that the maiden would lead the wolves to paradise. I would still read it as the wolf turns into the beast to protect the Flower Maiden who is a blessing unto the blessed. Well that’s how I view it anyway. I’d love to hear what other people think when they read this.

The dabbler who dabbles

So for all those Harry Potter fan I have started working on a Harry Potter fan fiction. I would like some critics on it so the first chapter will be coming soon. I’ll give you the plot.

- Harry Potter is starting his fourth year and with it comes the Triwizard Tournament. After his name comes out of the Goblet of Fire, Harry finds his secrets coming into the light as a small child appears in a bright light looking as if he stepped through time. 

***Also thoughts on the summery. Is it too long; not enough detail; does it just seem like the ramblings of some nut job. Please comment if it catches an eye***

First time for everything

I guess the first place to start is to ask that should I unknowingly plagiarize another person’ s post someone will tell me in a delicate and calm manner letting me know what happened so I can make sure to properly apologize. I plan to main focus on Greek Myths but may branch out and talk about certain myths as a whole. I’m not an expert on the subject nor do I claim to be. The use is to attempt retelling of myths as well as featuring short poems or stories that I worn you know, may seem rather stupid as a whole but critique is always welcome.
