I recently found out that my bf’s mum used to do live TV debates on feminism.
I wish I could watch them but unfortunately I don’t speak any Hindi :/

Performance or not, she’s clearly comfortable showing that she has breasts to thousands online and in public. In that case she can’t have been going through “hell” as you described it. Would you get a nose job if you were comfortable with the appearance of your nose and took few previous attempts to change its appearance regularly with editing or makeup? Genuinely would you? Moreover, the way the videos are presented are trivialising and cutseyfying serious surgery, TikTok or not. Surely you can see that’s dangerous. The over happy behaviour is in itself a performance to escape reality, as I said initially. I’ve also noticed this in people that I have known irl.
Something I’ve noticed about TIFs is how often they have this kind of overly happy, childish manner.
They make these ‘get top surgery with me’ vlogs where they’re packing their bag for the camera as if they’re going on a fun trip, when they’re getting life altering surgery. Their whole manner of speaking in these videos is so over the top, dumbed down and honestly stereotypically feminine.
I remember watching a ‘top surgery reveal video’ back when I was deep into all of it. While this TIF was getting her bandages off she said “I’m a very brave boy,” and the nurse said “yes, you are a brave boy.” This was an adult woman.
It very much comes off as if they are trying to escape reality through this childish way of thinking and presenting, and everyone around them just coddles them.

Telling me what you believe I think is not a legitimate counter argument.

The woman in the video had waited a couple of months to get surgery and was wearing a low cut shirt with no binder in public the day before.
Being happy and infantilisation are different things. Adults should never treat surgery as if its a fun experience; not even people getting life-saving surgeries treat it like that. It should never be trivialised in that manner. Moreover, many of these people talk in this way before their surgeries, during the “hell.”
Yes I am “anti-trans”.

Telling feminists “you’re feminism isn’t feminism if it doesn’t include trans women” is like a Christian using Bible scripture to try and convince an atheist God exists
