Old project from back in college, just acrylic paint on a black denim jacket.
The text is an exorcism and I’m sure Supernatural fans will find the symbol familiar.

So remember all those line arts I posted way back when? I’m sure you’ll be shocked to learn that they are actually stained glass patterns!
*cricket noises*
ahem.
So this is a quick little Toothless sun-catcher I made. His eyes came out a little wonky, but eh, what can you do?

So I’m back. Again.
Back in January I went through a bit of a rough patch when I lost one of my furbabies and my art kind of went on hold for a while. And then I kept on putting off posting new stuff because reasons.
But anyway...
I thought I’d say ‘sorry for vanishing again!’ by uploading something a little special.
Basically, a few years ago in college I had a final that went something like this:
Here’s a big slab of plywood, a 3D modeling program, and a CNC Milling Machine. Build me a chair. Ready? Go.
And this happened.
I still have the original 3D model files, including the layout for all of the pieces, but I don’t think I’ll ever have access to the proper equipment again, so it’s essentially one of a kind. It’s surprisingly comfy and probably sturdier than I give it credit for. I also hand sanded the entire thing with 600 grit sandpaper, so it is just about as smooth as smooth can be.
Alas, I don’t trust my cats not to maul it somehow, so it’s currently confined to the back room where it doesn’t really get used.

So this is kind of a rare medium for me- I’ve only ever done a few woodcarvings, but this is by far the one I’m most proud of (even if it’s something I did back in high school)

Haha! Not a cat.
Paper cut of a rat on construction paper, nothing too fancy.

This is the last cat for now, honest. (probably. I think)
Another one of Rusty. Pay no attention to my half-assed attempt at foliage.

In the continuing adventures of (colored) lineart, I have a portrait of my step-mom’s cat, Crosby. This one has two colored versions because while the darker one is more accurate to his actual coloration, I also like the brightness of the other.

A portrait of my much-loved cat, Fenris. Even though he’s fully grown, he’ll always be my baby boy.

This fluffed-up pair was a present for my step-mother for Christmas; she absolutely adores the pair of cardinals that come to bird-feeder every winter, so I thought this would be the perfect gift.

Hey all,
I know I’ve been silent for some time now. There have been a lot of changes while I’ve been away, but I’m happy to say I’m back and I’ve brought quite a bit of new content with me.
To kick things off, I present the new MadCat Studios logo, framed by a familiar face. This isn’t actually it’s final format, and no, I’m not telling what it will turn out to be (even if I’m fairly certain it’s really not that hard to guess).
I’ll be releasing a bunch of new content over the next few days, so don’t forget to check back in!
