Comfort movies

Here is my top 5 comfort movies:

1-Dead poets society

Besides being my favorite movie, it is number one on my comfort movies list. If you've never seen this movie you need to see it now!! It's a beautiful classic movie that always makes me cry and that I recommend for everyone to watch. Seeing the friendship and love that the characters have for each other comforts me and I have become very attached to some characters. So, if you like classic movies, which portray the importance of friendship, life, freedom and poetry, you need to watch Dead Poets Society.

2-A nightmare before christmas

This is a classic Halloween movie for kids that I've been watching since I was one and that's one of the reasons this movie is on this list. I wouldn't say this movie is just for kids because I keep watching it. Basically, in a parallel universe where there are doors for each holiday, Jack Skellington who is a big celebrity in the halloween world ends up discovering these other holidays and falls in love with Christmas. It's a great movie to watch on Halloween eve with the family or alone. I've been a big fan of this movie since I was little.

3-School of rock

If you like music, specifically rock, and you've never seen this movie, you'd better add School of Rock to your watch list. I love each character and I love how they were developed. Just like Dead Poets Society in this film there is a teacher who wants to show what freedom is to students but this time in a totally different way from the other film, while one was with poetry, this one is with rock & roll. This teacher shows a genre of music totally different from what they were used to and encourages them to play it. A movie I'll never get tired of watching.

4-Lorax

Here's another movie I've watched since I was a kid. Lorax is a cartoon movie that I always get emotional watching. This work shows us in a way the importance of trees and that we must preserve them. If we cut one we must plant another. But this film presents us with much more than just this social criticism. It's really worth watching, I recommend taking some time out of your day and watching it. It's very cool and interesting.

5-The greatest showmen

Despite being a very famous movie, I saw it for the first time earlier this year (2021) when my sister introduced me to it. I recommend this movie for all ages. Summarizing the film but without giving spoilers, it tells the story of a boy who wanted to be a showmen so when he becomes an adult, he marries the girl he liked since he was a child and opens his own circus of "freaks". A lot of things go right and a lot of things go wrong throughout the movie. I can't say any more 🤫 you have to watch and find out now and I swear you won't regret it.

I also love Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and it should be on this list but I'm too lazy to write about it so it will be a top 5 anyway🤠🤌.
