I don't know, honestly.

After a period of really atrocious behavior from Citadel, the company, I haven't felt a lot of anything for Warhammer and its IPs since. I owe it to myself to see through two projects I had been ironing over a lot, and to eventually see to my backlog of people who wanted commissions, if people even still are interested in getting them.

Then? I don't know. Maybe I'll feel excited for the setting again. It's been a long time since I've drawn much of anything. I'd rather say I was poorly dealing with mental health and the world had a pandemic and god the hits don't stop coming, than anything personal or specific.

I'm not unique in this situation I'm sure. And I wish I had the fortitude to have just kept drawing and never stopped but that wasn't how I folded under pressure.

I hope to do better. I keep hoping to do better.

I’m still making that word bearer comic, someday.

But I’m finally drawing again (after a lot of false starts) and I needed to draw something goofy. My favs get along very well.  Feat. Saqqara Thresh, Ashu and two (2) Servants.

It has been a long time since I was able to be consistently active, and a lot of life stuff is sort of out of the way.  We’ve moved to our new home and with that comes a lot of new home related chores.  Also? A frightening amount of self motivation required to get them done.  Its new for me and is taking a lot of mental readjustment but it’s all going to be worth it in the end.

I hope to have a much, much more consistent workflow and productivity schedule from next week on out.  And maybe that means I’ll finally bring some of my larger and dumber ambitions to bring to life.
