Dante loves the rain. He didn’t see it until he was a scout and off-world. Baal being a desert and all that it was not something that happened at home. When he and his squad first encountered it, they ran into it, looked to the sky and opened their mouths to catch it. They got a sound telling off from their squad trainer, but there were no regrets.

To this day, he has not reconciled the miracle of oceans and rain, and when there is time, he will sit in it.

Animal lives are valuable.

Most of them. Magnus will definitely kill anything even remotely like a psychneuein almost instinctively. 

But for the rest of them, he’ll treat them with the respect the animal deserves. He’ll observe quietly if he’s off investigating and studying a new species, he’ll gladly play with domesticated animals (so long as they’re comfortable with it), or sometimes he will try to kill something if it poses a great threat to humans or if it’s something harming an ecosystem. (Though usually he tries to relocate invasive species to environments where they are more well-adapted and can be somewhat contained and controlled.)

“Good looks in a partner are a plus, but they’re not the be-all and end-all. What with being asexual and all. But good cheekbones, thick thighs, and a nice ass are the cherry on the cake. Especially if the owner looks like they could beat my ass.” Evren said, not mentioning her penchant for the xeno- and monster-types. 

“As for personality, I look for the four ‘s’es: smarts, sass, sweetness, and sword. And by ‘smarts’ I don’t just mean education - I mean any kind of intelligence and willingness to learn. No sin but ignorance and all that. A sense of humour is a must, whether it’s snarky quips, dark gallows humour, or dumb dad jokes. They’ve got to be able to put up with me and my weirdness. If your taking some music: 115 by treyarch Sound Deis Irae (amadeus) / gates of oblivion by dark moor Powerwolf, gloryhammer, and Alestorm are places you can’t go wrong. Same with Brothers of Metal (most of these listed are power metal bands)
