"Say it," he whispered against her face, parting their lips just to connect their eyes.

Molly smiled. A year had passed but she knew that even after ten, the memory of that conversation would not fade in any of them. Besides, they didn't want that at all. Although painful, brutal, wrong, that was their beginning. Did it matter that they themselves would have written it differently? Life doesn't ask anyone's opinion. Fortunately, the universe is not so lazy as to allow for coincidences.

"Like I mean it?" She picked up cheerfully. She felt simply good, wrapped in his arms. It was her place where she wanted and should be.

To her astonishment, Sherlock shook his head slightly.

"If you mean it," he pointed out in a low voice.

Molly nodded understandingly. Then she lowered her eyes a bit as she delved into herself. She found it all there and was more than willing to bring it out. She looked up. The depth of that dark gaze almost flexed his knees under him.

"I love you, Sherlock Holmes."

She rose on tiptoe, bringing their lips together again in a kiss. But time passed and the answer had not yet to come. Gently cupping his face with her hands, she looked up at him again, questioningly.

Then she saw that smile in her hands, starting at the corners and gradually lighting up the entire face. Each time it stopped her breathing. She thought he had his whole beautiful heart in that one expression, and that was something she just couldn't get used to. Nor take her eyes off it. 

"I love you, Molly Holmes."

It wasn't the easiest thing for me to write for some reason, but this dialogue has been following me for a few days haha. Hope you like it! I just wrote it so maybe I should wait a bit before publishing but... I don't want to 😂

Unofficial but universally accepted Sherlolly truths:

Sherlock and Molly share a bed when he stays at her flat.

Per Sherlock's request, Molly has a rather impressive security detail, courtesy of Mycroft the British government.

There is a grudging, mutual respect between Toby and Sherlock.

Sherlock is the clingy one in their relationship. (Molly doesn't mind.)

Mummy Holmes approves enthusiastically of her son's relationship with Molly.

Sherlock has taken Molly to Angelo's at least once.

Ok, so, I'm rewatching Gilmore girls season 6 ok? And, I just can't get over this: the season starts with Rory practically adrift. She has pushed Lorelai away, moved in with Emily and Richard and yet somehow emotionally pushed them away too. She almost never sees Paris and Lane even though their relationships haven't changed. The only person she still sees regularly is Logan. Now, I don't wanna start the Logan convo cause I still don't know where I stand in that, but we have to admit Rory and Logan's relationship in the beginning of season 6, although kinda cute, doesn't get anything productive out of the two of them. They almost never even deal with the Yale situation, not even talk about it. Logan simply accepts Rory's decision.

And then, all of a sudden, completely out of the blue, Jess comes to Hartford, lets her know he published a book ( and may I add, even though Rory didn't take Paris's promotion to editor at the Yale daily news well, she is EXTREMELY proud and supportive of Jess's achievement), they talk and then meet up a second time, and Jess confronts her on the Yale issue, and just strikes to her. Not Lorelai, or Richard, or Emily, or Paris. Not anyone. But Jess Mariano, in one episode, succeeds where everyone else failed. All of a sudden, Rory is back being her old self (pretty much) and she moves out of the villa, reapplies to Yale, looks for a job, reconnects with her own mother.

If these two aren't meant for each other... then who is?
