The first mission you two went on together could have easily started World War III. During that time, Roier had often wondered what the hell he was doing among you, since he seemed to be the only one in his right mind. When he accepted Hermes' mission and considered the idea of choosing the two, he did not expect to face the wrath of two demigods who had recently discovered that they hated each other.
However, the mission was a success, and some gods saw a potential group of warriors forming if it weren't for the constant fighting you and Foolish had. He was the son of Aphrodite, attentive and a bit flighty, but he was good at fighting and, unfortunately for you, very handsome.
Being the daughter of Athena gave you quick agility in developing strategies and being quite intelligent when necessary, but something you didn't have was the ease of dealing with your heart, and that often led you down somewhat dangerous paths in your life. And one of them was when you decided to choose Foolish as your mission companion once again.
This time, in addition to Foolish, you had the opportunity to choose two other people, Bagi and Roier. Bagi, your sister, was someone who loved puzzles, perfect for the mission your mother had given you. And Roier was a great fighter and easy to handle.
The mission seemed simple: to protect an ancient temple dedicated to the Goddess of Wisdom by some humans who lived nearby. The forest was not very dense, but it looked like a labyrinth to strangers, and for some reason, it caught the attention of some curious humans. They were looking for relics to sell, as they were extremely valuable pieces.
The people of the region welcomed you all very well. They even seemed to suspect who you were, but if they knew, they didn't let on. The place you managed to stay was like a bungalow hotel, with Foolish and Roier in one and you and Bagi in another.
The two of you, being sisters and spending a lot of time together at camp, knew a few things about each other and managed to fit in well in the bungalow room. Bagi chose the bed on the right, while you chose the one on the left. And without saying much to each other, she was the first to go to the bathroom.
So you lay down on the bed on your back and thought about some things, which took a few minutes, because Bagi had left the bathroom, and you decided to go in.
As you guys arrived almost late in the afternoon, you decided that it was better to rest for the rest of the day and go and analyze your mother's temple early the next morning. So, after a hot and relaxing bath, you looked at the items that you had collected and that your subconscious thought would be useful for the mission.
But before you even got close to your bag, you heard a knock. You went towards it, realizing that Bagi was busy with something else, and with her headphones on, she probably hadn't even heard the knock.
As soon as you opened the wooden door, Foolish was there.
You narrowed your eyes, waiting to see what he wanted, but he seemed doubtful.
"What do you want?" you asked briefly.
"Do you have any soap I can borrow?" He scratched the back of his head, a little embarrassed.
You continued to look at him, wondering what was going on in the minds of the two boys, even more so when they realized that they had forgotten some soap, knowing that they would be away from home for days.
"What's the matter, we ran out and didn't get everything." He seemed to understand the look you were giving him. So you went to your bag, took out some soap, and handed it to him.
Without further ado, he thanked you for the soap and returned to his bungalow, which was right next to yours.
As soon as you closed the door and looked back, Bagi laughed loudly as you looked at her from the side.
"You're really stupid, you know that?" she said, sitting on the edge of the bed she was on. "Your passion for him is becoming more and more stupid to watch."
You threw yourself on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
"Who told you I like him?" It was your turn to ask.
"It's literally written all over your face," she replied.
Maybe she was right. Your heart missed a few beats whenever you were around the boy, and you couldn't deny that Foolish really was someone sculpted by a Greek god, his mother was the goddess of beauty, and he couldn't be any different.
"I don't like him," you repeated, this time a little louder, and Bagi took it as a sign that you didn't enjoy the conversation.
"Okay... But you can't deny that he has beauty." She giggled while you grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at her.
The conversation ended there, with both of you quiet, but with your minds in complete confusion, so you preferred to continue like this. You both wished each other a good night and went to sleep.
The next morning, everyone got up early, did their things, and met in a kind of open lobby in the middle of the bungalows. You had the necessary things in each backpack: food, water, and your weapons. Foolish somehow managed to hide his sword in his backpack, and Roier his two daggers. You already carried a kind of scythe, which was easy to hide, and Bagi, a good old bow.
"I hope you both enjoyed the soap," Bagi commented, trying not to laugh.
"Vete a la merda (Go fuck yourself)," Roier replied, hiding a smile, knowing it was just a joke. And Bagi burst out laughing.
Foolish laughed at the comment, but you noticed a slight blush on his cheeks as he laughed and looked at him to see what his reaction would be.
After this brief conversation, you informed some of the townspeople and then set off on the path you had received on a piece of parchment. You don't know exactly how you got it, and you have many questions about how it got into your things, but you didn't reject the piece of paper, and it was useful.
As you went deeper into the forest, the more confused you guys became. The map wasn't being useful, and you started to get stressed about everything going wrong. In a moment of pause, you sat on a rock and began analyzing the map again, which only resulted in more stress.
"I think we should separate," Bagi suggested, breaking the silence. "I think this would be more practical, and we could mark it with something to know where we've been," she continued, and Roier nodded in agreement.
"And how will we know if the other found it or not?" you asked skeptically.
She placed her backpack in front of her, opened it, and rummaged through it until she took out two flares, smiling as she held them up.
You mimicked her action, standing up, feeling excitement reignite within you.
"You and Foolish go there, and Roier and I will go this way," Bagi instructed, pointing first to the left and then to the right. When she paired you with Foolish, your smile faltered.
Foolish and Roier agreed without hesitation, standing up as the mood between everyone seemed lighter with Bagi's idea.
She threw a flare to Foolish, who quickly caught it midair.
Despite not commenting on the pairing, Roier looked at Bagi with an enigmatic expression, as if communicating silently. She gave him a playful push and said goodbye, with Roier mirroring her movements and following her.
You looked at Foolish, your mind racing with thoughts. He, too, seemed to be analyzing you silently. Neither of you moved or said a word, the tension almost palpable.
"How are we going to mark where we went?" you asked, breaking the silence.
Foolish looked around and pulled a small knife from his pocket.
"We'll mark an X on the trees."
You nodded and took the initiative to lead the way.
Every few steps, you noticed Foolish carving his marks into the trees while scanning the surroundings for signs of the temple.
The silence between you was awkward, neither of you wanting to break it.
Your mind wandered back to your last mission together. No matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t pinpoint where this animosity between you and Foolish originated. From the moment he arrived at camp, a silent rivalry had sparked between you, intensifying over time—perhaps due to the age-old rivalry between Aphrodite and Athena.
After what felt like hours, it seemed like you were walking in circles. The “X’s” on the trees had disappeared. Frustrated, you scanned the area carefully until you spotted an olive tree in the distance.
Without a word to Foolish, you headed toward it, realizing that there were more olive trees ahead, forming a winding path. The trees led you to the temple.
What you failed to notice was the Minotaur waiting in ambush. The beast lunged at you, but Foolish reacted instantly, drawing his sword and shield to block the attack. Despite the shock, you gathered your composure and pulled a small device from your pocket, which transformed into your shield.
The Minotaur was unlike anything you'd fought before. Towering and menacing, it had enormous claws, bulging eyes, and massive horns. Its intent was clear—it was there to kill. But so were you.
Foolish glanced at you, concern evident in his eyes, but the look you shared conveyed everything. On the battlefield, you were allies, despite your differences. Your training together at camp had prepared you for moments like this.
The two of you split off, analyzing the beast like predators stalking prey. Without a word, you moved in opposite directions, gripping your weapons tightly.
Meanwhile, Bagi and Roier stumbled upon the scene, shocked by the battle unfolding. Without hesitation, they unsheathed their weapons and rushed to join you.
Together, you fought fiercely, and it didn't take long for the Minotaur to fall lifeless to the ground.
As the dust settled, everyone tried to catch their breath. But Foolish suddenly groaned loudly, drawing all attention to him.
You turned to him, your heart sinking when you noticed the red stain spreading across his shirt near his abdomen.
"Foolish?" you called out, your voice laced with worry. He looked at you and gave a faint smile, as if to reassure you he was fine. But his knees buckled, and he collapsed, making the severity of his injury unmistakable.

warnings: overprotetive brother!geto suguru, some angst, nanami is bestfriend of reader, satoru is a idiot in love, reader is one year younger that satoru and geto, mentions of alcohol, all the character are of legal age
words: 926 (part two)
synopse: Satoru did not fall in love easily; in fact, there was only one person who truly occupied his heart and mind: you. However, there was a small problem—you were Suguru's younger sister, his best friend, who fiercely protected you from any dubious intentions. So, he found himself trapped between two choices: maintaining his friendship with Geto and losing you, or ending a lifelong friendship with Geto and having the chance to possibly take you out.
a/n: hello! i'm back with one more part of this history! this one is a little shorter, but important to what comes next. Let me know if you guys want to be tagget in the next chapters.
masterlist | part one | part two | part three | part four |
The second time Satoru was sure he was going to freak out thinking about you.
This time, he was alone with you at your house, without Suguru or Ieri to make him nervous.
"If you take a picture, it lasts longer, Toru," you joked, trying to break the weird tension between you two.
You were sitting on the floor, leaning against the couch while looking at your laptop on the coffee table. College had barely started, and it was already driving you crazy, with projects piling up. But with Satoru staring nonstop, it was a little hard to concentrate with those blue eyes practically piercing your soul.
He seemed to push aside whatever thoughts were in his head and turned his attention back to the program playing on the TV.
Deciding to end whatever was happening, you closed your laptop and turned to him.
"What’s going on, Toru?"
Satoru looked at you again, letting out what seemed to be a sigh.
"Why are they taking so long? I’m starting to get bored..." A pout appeared on his lips, making him look like a ten-year-old with nothing to do.
"There’s a sink full of dishes to wash… or you can tell me what’s overloading that pretty little head of yours," you smiled, standing up and moving to the empty spot on the couch next to him before sitting down.
You poked his side, earning what sounded like a laugh disguised as a scream.
Gojo had been caught off guard; he hadn’t expected you to notice that he was distant, lost in a parallel world — one where, perhaps, you were lying on the couch together, cuddling, whispering sweet words to each other. Not that you had any idea what was going on in his imaginative mind.
Another sigh escaped his lips. This time, he was looking at the ceiling, his head resting against the couch.
"I never thought I’d say this…" He was extremely nervous, but his brain couldn’t control what was about to come out of his mouth. "But I think I’m in love."
You couldn’t lie — never in a million years did you expect that. Gojo had a reputation as a player. Ever since you were kids, he had always attracted attention from both girls and boys, mainly because of his blue eyes and snow-white hair. He had always seemed uninterested when it came to relationships. There was even a time when it looked like he had finally found the love of his life, but suddenly, they broke up, and Satoru never spoke about it again.
"What?" Your mouth fell slightly open in surprise.
He flashed his signature grin, scratching the back of his head in embarrassment.
"You know how it is… everyone falls in love someday…"
Just as it seemed like he was about to start a monologue about how he was human and bound to fall in love at some point, his phone rang.
It was Suguru.
"Gojo, why isn’t my sister answering her phone?" As soon as he brought the phone to his ear, Geto spoke in an unamused tone.
Satoru glanced at you, checking if you had your phone in hand or nearby, but nothing.
"Maybe because she got tired of hearing your voice…"
"Gojo!"
"Or maybe she just doesn’t want to talk to you!"
Satoru could imagine the sour expression Geto was making on the other end of the line, almost making him burst into laughter at the thought, but he figured it was best not to annoy his friend any further.
"Listen up, Satoru! If you’re doing anything to—" Before the other could finish, Satoru hung up, not wanting to hear whatever was about to come out of Geto’s mouth.
You raised an eyebrow, trying to figure out who was on the other end of the call. Then, noticing the way Gojo spoke and flashed an inexplicable smile, you came to the conclusion that it was probably Suguru.
"What did he want?" you asked.
"I think you should check your phone."
Examining his expression and, unfortunately, not detecting anything unusual, you got up from the couch and started searching for your phone all over the house.
Satoru watched the scene with amusement, but his moment of joy was short-lived when you suddenly reappeared.
"TORU!" You looked ecstatic, your eyes wide as you stared at the screen of your phone, a sweet smile adorning your lips.
He was almost certain that if he had heart problems, his heart wouldn’t have survived the scare your sudden scream had given him.
"I have a date!"
You turned the phone screen toward him so he could see the messages. However, Satoru was in complete shock. Not because you had a date, but because he wasn’t the one who had asked you out.
He opened and closed his mouth several times, but no sound came out.
He quickly realized that the smile you had worn just moments ago had turned into a frown, and your face had gone blank. He couldn’t quite figure out what you were feeling or thinking, but he knew his reaction wasn’t the best.
He was completely screwed.
You lowered your phone as soon as you noticed the strange look on his face, and suddenly, something clicked inside you.
Why wasn’t he reacting at all?
You were his friend — why didn’t he seem even slightly happy for you?
The answer was right in front of you, but you didn’t see it.
He wasn't happy because that smile of happiness, that celebration for being asked out, wasn't for him.
It wasn't Satoru.

It had been fifteen seconds since Gojo Satoru had been staring intently in your direction. Anyone watching from afar would clearly say that he was a crazy guy obsessed with a girl and that he liked to stalk her around. In fact, this was the complete opposite, you had known each other for years, almost more than half of your lives, and in the situation you were in, Satoru really did look like a maniac staring in your direction, but not on purpose, he was almost hypnotized, unable to stop looking and thinking.
“If you keep staring a little longer, he’s going to find out.” The one who stole the young man's attention was Ieiri, one of the best people who had crossed the young man's life, and also, a long-time friendship that, possibly, was the first person who noticed the different way he looked at you.
He sipped a little of the drink he held in his hands, trying to pay attention to something else.
Satoru, in fact, wanted to be able to forget your existence, at least for a day, and nullify any feeling he had for you. He knew that he could never even touch your hair or whisper words of affection to you, after all, Geto Suguru was your older brother, and he knew very well what had happened to other people who had confessed to you.
This was the first time he thought he was screwed.
Coming in his and Shoko’s direction, Geto had a small smile on his lips and a cup in his hand.
Suguru and Satoru had a long history. They were childhood friends, lived on the same street, and studied at the same school. And, even after leaving high school, they went to the same college and the same fraternity. They were the perfect definition of best friends and Satoru didn’t want to ruin that. After all, Geto had a huge attachment to you and knew that it wouldn’t be easy to convince his friend that this wasn’t just a joke.
“Why is he like that?” Suguru asked Shoko, who was watching the scene without expressing any kind of reaction.
“He got dumped”, she replied, lying, while pulling a cigarette from her pocket and lighting it.
Geto pretended to punch his friend’s shoulder.
“Stop being an idiot and enjoy the party!”
Gojo pushed himself off the beam he was leaning against and ran a hand through the white strands of his hair.
“I’m going to get another drink”, he said and passed by Suguru and Shoko towards the kitchen, where the various drinks of the party were.
As he walked, some people greeted him, after all, he was one of the hosts of the party, however, he only gave a small smile and continued on his path. He was starting to get stressed with himself and didn’t want to chat with others.
However, the last person he wanted to see at that moment was in the room, near the kitchen sink, filling a cup with some cheap drink that was there.
“You know it’s rude to stare, right?” Gojo was quickly pulled out of his reverie when he heard your voice. He blinked a few times, a little stunned, but quickly composed himself and stuck his tongue out at you.
“What’s that?” The young man walked up to you, asking about the liquid in your cup.
“Energy drink.”
“Just that?”
He seemed surprised by your answer and took the cup from your hand, sipping a little of the drink in an attempt to see if you were telling the truth. And you really weren’t lying, it was just a bit of cheap energy drink that you had bought earlier.
“What happened? Did Suguru forbid you from drinking or something?” He handed the cup back to you and went towards the fridge and took a bottle of Heineken from it.
“You guys should work for them”, you said, referring to the beer brand, rolling your eyes and, now, it was your turn to stick your tongue out at him.
Satoru walked in your direction, put his arm around your shoulders, and whispered in your ear:
“You look really pretty today”
And a blush appeared on your cheeks upon hearing the compliment. Satoru knew very well how to make you flustered, even more so after discovering that compliments were your weak point.
Then, he started guiding you through the crowd, leading you to where Suguru and Ieri were talking.
“Look who I found lost in the kitchen”, Satoru commented with a smile.
Suguru gave his famous smile when he saw you, and Shoko put out the cigarette she had on her lips, throwing the butt into a nearby trash can.
“Enjoying the party?”, your brother asked you.
However, you were more paying attention to Satoru’s arm around your shoulders, which, as much as it was common, made you extremely nervous. And, to your displeasure, Suguru had noticed.
“It’s going fine”, you replied as you moved away from Satoru’s arm.
More and more, you were certain that being at that party was one of the biggest mistakes you had made over twenty years. Being near Satoru Gojo, in fact, was your biggest mistake.
But what to do when he was your brother’s best friend? The person who, since you were five years old, had been part of half of your day and whom you grew up watching become the person he is today?
What to do when you are in love with your best friend?
Suddenly, one of your friends approached, calling you to meet some other people, and, as an attempt to avoid Gojo, you followed her.
The smile that had been on Suguru’s face simply disappeared.
“What the fuck was that, Gojo?”, he asked, punching his friend’s arm, the same one who had been watching you walk away, and who was startled after such an action.
“What?”, Satoru seemed extremely scared by the question, knowing very well that he had noticed.
“I think you better not try anything… or else I’ll beat you up”, Geto threatened the other and walked towards the kitchen of the house.
“Pff… I told you, ‘Toru!” Shoko had a small smile on her face, the famous look of someone who warned and the other didn’t take it seriously.
Satoru was screwed and you would be his death.

England's high society was accustomed to Satoru Gojo's charms and lack of interest in finding a bride at the beginning of the season. However, none of the women easily gave up trying to win the young Duke's heart... or pocket. After all, Gojo's fortune was something to be squandered and admired. They almost always forgot, or pretended, about the rumors that surrounded the noble family, which caught [Name]'s attention as she observed every move the women made to have Satoru as a husband.
That year's season was almost coming to an end and your mother's words seemed to become more and more harsh and expressive with each new dance scheduled. It was more than clear that she would not accept anyone who asked for your hand in marriage.
Even though you weren't doing well financially, she made a point of buying new dresses for you and your younger sister every night before the dance, questioning even more where the hell she was getting the money to pay for them.
So, there you were at the best seamstress in the kingdom, being pricked a few times by the woman's needle while she made some adjustments to your newest dress.
Your sister was sulking on the sofa next to you, staring at the ceiling as she received a lecture from your mother for disobeying her earlier. That scene was almost comical, if it was only the tenth time that scene had been repeated. The thing about your sister was that she liked to rebel a little more and your parents didn't see that as a good sign.
After leaving the seamstress, leaving with three new dresses in hand, you three decided to stop by the shopping center to buy a few more things.
What caught your attention most were the whispers among people about Satoru Gojo, heir to almost half of England, and who was back in the country after almost five years away. The boy's parents, in a way to celebrate his return, decided to organize a welcome ball, which you were preparing for.
It was almost an understatement to say you weren't anxious.
Just by hearing the name of the man whose heart missed a few beats, after all, you had a small crush on the man since you were very young. However, you always tried not to make this clear, even though there was a certain provocation between the two of you, as your families had made it very clear that they despised each other.
The funniest thing about it all was that even though they hated each other, they were still forced to go to the same places.
It didn't take long for the moon to shine in the sky and the stars to twinkle, along with the light breeze that embraced everyone.
Your whole family was ready. Your mother told you the same things as always, while you, your sister and your father pretended to pay attention to everything.
The Gojo mansion wasn't that far from your residence, so you walked to the party location. Other important figures in the city preferred to do the same and only people from far away were in their carriages.
Your sister didn't look happy. She was one of the few girls who was not amazed by the parties, dresses and jewelry that the society in which she lived provided her. Adolescence had arrived for her like a bucket of cold water, even more so with your mother almost every day reminding her that soon she must find someone to build bonds with and marry.
You, from a very early age, learned not to listen to everything she told you, which made you extremely irritated, as you didn't always follow the “advice” she gave.
Before entering the mansion, and being announced by one of the Gojo employees, your mother analyzed each of you, looking to adjust anything out of place.
You passed through the estate's huge iron gates and stopped in front of the huge wooden door, which was being guarded by two well-dressed men. They soon opened and in front of you was the master of the ceremony, one of the family's employees.
"My lord, the Duke and Duchess of Sinclair, accompanied by their two daughters, Lady [Name] and Lady Ophelia, have just arrived. "
The eyes of several people met yours, including the elders of the Gojo family, and even the reason for the ball being held, Satoru Gojo.
The four of you passed through the room, while greeting other people, and stopped in front of the party hosts.
Satoru's mother and father seemed extremely stressed, especially from the moment you entered. Satoru seemed the complete opposite. He had a flirtatious smile and didn't need much to be one of the most popular topics at the party.
"It's a pleasure to have your presence here", said the boy, looking in your direction. Without you noticing, his mother lightly pinched the youngest's arm, causing a slight grimace of pain to form on his face.
Clearly, your family's presence was not very welcome to the Gojos, but for one member in particular, this was his big chance to win someone.
[...]
You had distanced yourself from your parents and sister, looking for time alone to think and reflect on the plan you had in mind. You stopped in front of the table that held some delicacies and began to observe your surroundings, until you noticed that Satoru was approaching.
"How long has it been, [Name]..." Satoru began the conversation, sipping the liquid in his cup.
You looked him up and down, mirroring the other's actions.
"I say the same, Satoru…”
The relationship between the two of you was a little complicated to explain. You didn't hate each other at all, and you weren't the closest people in that place either. However, there was never a reason to dislike him, on the contrary, Gojo was polite, flirtatious and too handsome for your taste.
"How was your trip to Japan?", you asked.
"Great, but it could have been better if someone had been there…" He winked in your direction and pretended to turn his attention to the surroundings.
Your cheeks flushed slightly, not in a million years did you expect to be picked up by Satoru.
A few seconds passed, and after you composed yourself, you spoke again:
"And may I have the pleasure of knowing who you are referring to?"
You both lived in this mind game, but you never took it anywhere else, and it frustrated you sometimes.
He came a little closer, bringing his mouth next to your ear and whispered, almost as if it were the greatest of secrets:
"We both know very well who I'm talking about. She has beautiful hair, very striking eyes and…", Gojo paused, moving away a little to check her face "Very soft lips." His eyes went towards your lips.
If it weren't for several people around you, you would have easily kissed him, however, unfortunately for you and Satoru, you didn't want to cause a stir among all the gossip on duty in that place.
"You know, I was wondering if we could go somewhere more private, what would happen", he commented.
"And you're not even going to ask me out on a date first?"
The atmosphere between the two of you seemed to become more and more intense as the conversation continued and you liked what was happening, feeling that perhaps it would be worth experiencing the problems that would follow if you kissed him right there, around everyone.
"Not be that reason… how about tomorrow at six in the afternoon?".

BY YOUR SIDE
Tumblr media
pairing: nanami kento x f!reader
synopse: It was supposed to be an easy mission, that's what the superiors told the three of you, and when you got there, you realized that it was a huge lie. All the curses there were level two, and apparently stronger than the three of you. Nevertheless, you went to kill them. And even though the curses were stronger, you managed to deal with almost all of them, and came out without too many scratches... if it wasn't for the last remaining curse.
warnings: mention of cuts and sadness
word count: 1075
masterlist
You, Nanami and Haibara had been assigned a simple mission. The place was a bit away from the city, there were only a few houses with a rather large forest surrounding the small village, and not a soul could be seen there. If it were night, this place would surely be worthy of a Japanese horror movie.
It was supposed to be an easy mission, that's what your superiors told the three of you, and when you arrived, you realized that it was a huge lie. All the curses there were level two, and apparently stronger than the three of you. Nevertheless, you went to kill them. And even though the curses were stronger, you managed to deal with almost all of them, and came out without too many scratches... if it wasn't for the last remaining curse.
Despite your delicate appearance, you were stronger than you looked, sometimes fooling enemies who dared to think that you were weak, and the other two knew this, after all, they had already experienced a bit of your power during their training at Jujutsu High. However, the scene that had just unfolded before their eyes took them by surprise.
That curse had gone beyond all limits.
Ahead, your body was lying on the ground, having been hit hard by the curse that was there.
Without much thought, Haibara rushed at the monster. The boy's eyes boiled with rage and frightened Nanami with the speed with which he took off running. Nanami saw it as a chance to get out of the curse's sight and take you to a place that seemed safer.
You were unconscious and had a cut on your head. Nanami wanted to get you out of there as soon as possible, but he still had to help Haibara. And so he did.
The trip to Jujutsu High was stressful for both of them. It was the first time they had been in that situation, completely lost in thought while they analyzed you over and over, looking for signs that you were waking up. The few minutes it took to get to the school seemed like hours in the eyes of the two boys.
Haibara constantly checked your pulse, while Nanami, a bit static, preferred to watch and try to stay calm... which didn't work out very well in his mind.
That feeling in his chest was abnormal. He had learned a little more about it with the help of Haibara, who was in a way the starting point for him to understand about worry and how it was more normal than he thought when someone was important enough to him. But in this situation, he felt angry. Anger at himself for not arriving on time, for not thinking to check on his friends.
When they arrived at the school, you were immediately put on a stretcher and taken to the infirmary, but they prefer stay waiting outside as soon as you entered the room. Everyone sat in a corner of the hallway; they weren't very far apart, and they preferred a certain distance so they could think.
It wouldn't happen again.
The hours passed. The cuts and bruises that everyone had suffered had been properly cleaned and tended to by the school doctors. However, you were still unconscious, which put everyone on alert — after all, you had hit your head. All the while, the two boys stayed by your side, regretting their late help.
Nanami replayed every step and every scene until he saw you on the ground with the curse near you, about to do something he didn't even want to think about.
Now he was sitting uncomfortably in a chair next to the bed you were resting in, his mind racing, his body completely exhausted, but for some reason he was still there. It could be the guilt that was eating away at him, or the thought of losing you over a small mistake that kept him there.
But deep down, like a small flame igniting, Nanami knew why he was there.
Fear.
Fear was eating away at him.
That's why he was there. He was afraid of losing you. All the time you spent together, from the first day you set foot in the school to the day before when you told Gojo to go fuck himself when he realized that Nanami was uncomfortable.
You were more important to him than he thought, and seeing you in that state made him furious.
"I can hear your thoughts from here." Almost in a whisper, your voice could be heard, alerting the boy.
He looked quickly at you and settled back in his chair.
“I'm sorry for scaring you.”
Nanami didn't know if you were referring to the scare you had just given him or to the one you had given him before with the curse.
"I think I overslept," you said, sitting up in bed and examining the bandage on your head with your hand, where it was currently wrapped in tape.
He got up thinking that you would do the same, and he thought he was going to stop you from doing it, but when he saw that you hadn't, he sat down again.
You looked at him again, this time looking for visible injuries, but found nothing more than a few scratches. Apparently, you were the only one with more serious injuries.
“Where did Haibara…”
“He went to rest.” You were cut off by Nanami, who was calmly analyzing you.
“And why didn't you go with him?”
"Why?" he thought and somewhere between those seconds when he stopped to analyze the question, he got the answer.
“Fear... fear of losing you.”
Nanami was not a transparent person when it came to feelings or communicating them, you knew that and had learned it in the two years you had known the boy, but you were surprised to hear such words from him.
So you approached him and took his hand, with a small smile on your face.
“Thank you for worrying about me, Nanami!”
He was a bit static, what should he do now? But he didn't have to say or do anything, because you sat on the edge of the bed, closest to him, and hugged him. An action that said more than a thousand words.
Not knowing what else to do, after his brain had started working again, he reluctantly returned the hug.
It was good to have you back.

MISS YOU
Tumblr media
pairing: gojo satoru x f!reader, platonic!megumi x platonic!reader synopse: After his relationship with you ends, Gojo meets you again in the middle of a mission, where he didn't expect to see you there, and rescues you, ending with a somewhat revealing conversation. warnings: exes to lovers, drama, fluff, a little of angst, happy ending. word count: 2499
Gojo Satoru's eyes were wide as he recognized the person walking a few meters in front of him. It had to be her, or else he was freaking out to the point of seeing his ex, who he hadn't seen in a few years and who he was still in love with, body and soul. Yes, the strongest sorcerer in the Jujutsu world was still in love with his ex, a normal person, with no powers, with no knowledge of the world in which Satoru lived. This last fact, which then, was the trigger for a painful ending for both of them.
Yuuji looked at his teacher in doubt, they had stopped suddenly, just like that. He moved his gaze forward, in the same direction Gojo was looking, in search of what the other was looking for, but he didn't find anyone he knew.
“Sensei…” Yuuji thought about asking something, but Gojo quickly cut him off.
“Come on, Nobara and Megumi must be delirious by now.”
Satoru had a thousand thoughts circulating through his mind at the exact moment they started walking again. He wishes had the courage, the lack of shame in the face, to go to the girl you saw seconds ago and act as if nothing had happened. But how would he go up to the woman and say: “Hi, how are you? It's been a long time since we've seen each other.” nonetheless, at that moment there, not even he could say what had happened to him.
When they arrived at the mission location, where Megumi and Nobara were waiting for them, the girl was the first to realize that something wrong had happened. Gojo had his hands in his pocket and had whispered “let's get this over with” to the three, and for those ones who already knew the teacher they had very well, where most of the time he left the three of them to deal with the curses alone, such words and posture were alarming.
“Are you okay?” asked Nobara, receiving a yes from the oldest, who began walking towards the abandoned building.
“He saw a woman when we were coming, and he's been like that ever since” commented Yuuji.
“A woman?” This time it was Megumi who asked. The gears of his brain tried to associate each woman he found in the apartment he shared withJoy, After all, he was her guardian, and only one woman appeared in his mind, the only one who really seemed to love the white-haired asshole.
The other boy nodded in agreement.
“Are you going to make small talk there or what?” They heard Satoru's voice, who was still waiting for them.

The second time Gojo saw the mysterious woman was in the presence of Megumi. Gojo and his need for sugar caused the two of them to be in that situation at first.
It was still a Tuesday, and it seemed that Megumi was two steps away from killing the man next to him. Satoru had forgotten to restock the cupboards and fridge, and when they saw, there was nothing edible enough for them to eat in the morning. He could still hear Satoru saying that eggs with lettuce and milk were a good combination, but his stomach turned every time he thought about it.
After the oldest realized that even he didn't want that, they headed towards a bakery close to where they lived. The bread and some snacks that they sold ready-made were Megumi's favorite choice. And the opposite of Satoru's, who got three strawberry donuts and a coffee with extra sugar, it shouldn't even be called coffee anymore because it was so absurd.
They sat at a table in the back and ate what they ordered. From time to time, Gojo exchanged a few words with the boy, who responded briefly, until the moment when Megumi started to stare at something behind Satoru, who bitterly regretted killing his curiosity by looking at the person Fushiguro stared.
“So she was the one who left you stunned that day on the mission” Megumi commented seriously. “I didn't know she had returned to the city.”
“Neither do I” replied the oldest.
You didn't seem to notice the presence of your ex and the boy you promised to protect at all costs, even though you glanced in their direction a few times, and Satoru was eternally grateful for that, he wasn't ready for a meeting between you two.
“You should talk to her.” It seemed like Megumi had read his mind, but in a totally opposite way. “Apologize for making an idiot of her, or maybe tell her that you're an idiot and did everything wrong, or just tell her the truth.”
“Sorry Gumi, I know you liked her” he shrugged, “but the past is the past.” The way he said it was funny, because he didn't even believe he had said that.
And for the second time, in less than a month, he spent an entire day thinking about the woman who he still had dreams in certain nights.
Tumblr media
Satoru was a busy man, that was a fact. After Itadori Yuuji ate one of Sukuna's fingers that night at school, his life became even busier. The Jujutsu world had become a worse mess than it already was, and he was the strongest sorcerer. He, Gojo Satoru, carried a huge burden, the burden of being the strongest, the one who should protect the world… and it sucked.
The curses were more aggressive, and the one looking directly at him seemed to embody this fact. The curse was not of a high level, at most level 2, but it was smart enough to take hostages. There were others like the other curse, his students were taking care of it, but the building was huge, and they weren't sure how many curses were there. This whole situation was rare, he had never seen several different curses together in the same place.
“Sensei!” Megumi shouted from some room in the hallway they were in.
Gojo made a straight and quick gesture with his hand, immediately leaving the room and the curse, heading towards Megumi's voice to reach him. The corridor wasn't that long, he even found one of Megumi's dogs going to search one of the rooms that was still missing, he arrived at the last door, which was half open, opening it completely and finding the boy standing in the middle of the room along with his other shikigami.
“She's here” said Fushiguro, upon seeing Gojo at the door.
He wanted to ask who, but his brain quickly rattled off the facts of the past few days and who he knew who could, one in a million, work in this building. He remembered a while ago, when you had mentioned at some point that you had received a job offer at the company in that building, and it seemed like his entire body had gone into a state of shock. If you were here, you had accepted the proposal.
“Where is she?”
“Upstairs. There's no one there yet” Megumi replied.
He had no idea what was going on in Gojo's mind, he would guess that the feelings he saw the older man harbor for a whole year after the two broke up were coming out little by little in that exact moment. He hoped the man wouldn't do anything crazy or anything like that.
Satoru didn't even think twice about teleporting upstairs. He was about to do something crazy if any of those curses had touched you. And it didn't even cross his mind that the reason for their breakup, as soon as you saw it, would come back to the surface when they found each other, after all, at that time he promised himself that keeping the secret about being a sorcerer was better than nothing.
The rooms on that floor were larger, appeared to be used for company conferences. There were few places to hide, and for the first time in his life, he prayed to some deity that you were safe. As he searched one of these rooms, he heard whispers from what sounded like a child and an older person counting numbers under their breath.
“What is a child doing here?” he whispered to himself.
“Who's there?” The person inside the room asked.
Satoru recognized that voice very well, how could he not? He spent almost 3 years listening to you whisper his name several times, among many other things.
“[Name]”  he called for you  softly.
Without thinking twice, he opened the half-open door, where he found the woman he loved so much in the same way he remembered, along with a girl, who looked to be about seven years old, holding your hand and with her eyes all teary.
“Satoru, what the hell are you doing here?” His face was surprised, and for a second he could see a trace of relief coming from you.
“Shit… We need to get out of here.” He  was scared as hell.
Gojo approached you and took your empty hand, leading you and the child towards the fire escape. In his mind, he thought that if they went down that way it would be safer, and they would find Megumi downstairs.
“T-there are some monsters here” stammered you, letting go of the hand that Gojo was holding and stopping.
“I know that. You need to get out of here as quickly as possible.” The man spoke quickly. “Megumi… he's downstairs, he can help you better than me.”
Upon hearing the boy's name, your eyes widened, thinking about why he was in this building, and only then did it sink in that nothing made sense. The building where you worked had been attacked by horrible creatures, your ex-boyfriend was in front of you, exactly as you remembered, with the eye band thing and everything, and the boy that you saw Satoru take care of for three years, was on the floor below doing who knows what.
“You need to get down now.”
Two hours after the incident, Satoru, Megumi, Nobara and Yuuji were in the hospital corridor waiting for news from you, the last two not knowing why Gojo and Fushiguro seemed so apprehensive. They didn't quite know how to start a conversation with them and ask who the woman in the room was, without wanting to seem intrusive or anything like that, but the silence was already bothering them both.
“Sensei, who is the wom…” The door was opened before Yuuji could complete the sentence, revealing the silhouette of a woman, the same one he had seen a while ago and that left Gojo unregulated.
“What are you doing here?” asked you when you saw Satoru and Megumi's faces, along with two other children that you had never seen.
“We wanted to know how you are” Megumi was the one who replied.
You didn't really know how to react to the boy's response, as you didn't expect such an act from them, especially from Gojo, who was looking at you from behind his strip with a thousand thoughts in his mind.
“Can we talk?” The man got up from the bench and stopped in front of her. “Alone.”
Nobara and Yuuji left looking like they didn't like it very much, wanting to hear the future conversation between you two. Megumi seemed a little reluctant to leave you guys alone, however, after you gave him a small smile as a sign that he could go without worrying, he left you two.
“Look…”
“You have a lot to explain, Satoru” you cut him off. The more you tried to put things together, the more confused you seemed to get.
“Me and Megumi... we can see those things.” He was so distressed that he didn't even notice his shoulders falling after feeling like a weight was being lifted from his shoulders. “And we have some powers.”
“Like Harry Potter?”
“Harry Potter?” asked Satoru, a little shocked by the meaningless association you made and receiving a nod.  “No. It has nothing to do with Harry Potter.”
“Then…”
“We are sorcerers. These creatures you saw today are curses, they are born from negative feelings, and I work to kill them.”
“Why the hell didn't you tell me this before? — you asked, irritated. The pieces of the puzzle little by little begin to fit together in your mind. “ You are idiot?”
“What?” Satoru was stunned.
“Did you do all that fuss because you didn't want to tell the truth?”
And there it was, the dreaded subject had arrived. The albino's heart was out of rhythm, he thought it would be easier, he had lied for your good, he was the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, what if some curse attacked you without him being around? Two hours ago, he saw that his thesis was blocked by past events.
“I thought if I walked away, you'd be safer,” he replied. His hands were sweating, he didn't know where to put them. “You are too important to me, and I couldn't bear to lose you.”
“And you still lost me, didn't you?” Satoru seemed to have received a bucket of cold water, after such words from you. “I spent a whole year wondering what the hell had happened for everything to end so suddenly. I've loved you all this time… I mean, I still think I love you, but it doesn't matter anymore.”
Satoru opened his mouth and closed it, dumbfounded. He expected everything except “I think I love you”. A year had passed and, just like you, he still loved you.
“You love me?” You seemed not to be paying attention to the words coming out of your mouth and when Gojo asked such a thing, his penny seemed to have dropped as well.
“I… it's a lot for one day, Satoru. Hours ago I was being attacked by some monsters, and now, here we are arguing about our old relationship.”
“Go out with me again,” he said. “I'll tell you anything you want, and if you think it's no longer possible, I won't go after you again. I just need a chance.” He sounded like he was begging.
The voice inside Gojo's head said that if he didn't do something now, he would probably never have the chance to do it again. He hated the fact that he might lose you a second time.
“I know I made a big mistake with you, and I regret it bitterly. But I just need a second chance.”
"I swear, Gojo Satoru... I swear if you do anything like that again, I will curse you for the rest of your life."
Satoru at that moment promised himself that he would never hurt you again the way he had done in the past. He didn't know he could miss a person as much as he did in that one year apart, and he wouldn't want to feel that way again. Having someone you love by your side was comfortable.
