Teenagers are allowed to be upset with the over sexualization of teenagers in media. The fact that teens are excluded these conversations by adults in fandom spaces don't want to listen. I understand a lot of adults want to be in adult spaces but what they really want is a echo chamber. I do not trust most adults in fandom spaces to have critical thinking when they think fiction doesn't affect reality. No, you just want to read your romanticized toxic yaoi in peace, which is silly. The root of hyper-sexualization and predatory behavior is strong with in media and heavily in fiction. Young girls are the primary target of this. Especially literal children. Adults in fandom spaces need to take a long look at themselves. You're an adult, which makes you more responsible for your actions. Yes, some teens can be over dramatic but at the same time you're contributing to a larger problem.

Stop being a loser and maybe actually try to understand why kids are like this instead of ignoring them. It sometimes is just 'Don't like don't read/look' but that creates a unhealthy echo chamber. It's your job as an adult to be an adult in those situations.

And also get over the 2010s fandom life, it was literal hell, there's nothing worth being remembered except a bunch of grown women upset that bad shows didn't have terrible characters get together no matter how stupid the ship was.

Anyways, first post for pride is Tycutio has these stupid sims won't leave me head!!! I might draw more cause its gay month and these bitches gay

That's valid, but I think the its more realistic in the podcast, it sucks Matteo dies and I hated that part too, but it makes sense that their relationship isn't that good, you're not always friends with your coworkers out of the workspace, and it felt genuine, Matteo feels more like a plot device rather than a actual character, Linda, her whole thing is being calm under pressure, she's a nurse, it's important she keeps a level head, she has her moments but it takes away from her cool moments, and all the parts about Dave's parents being taken out lessens the impact, their relationship are different because they have to be work together in the podcast, they have to rely on one another. Matteo was in the army, he doesn't give a shit about some pretending to be a veteran and he hates Jared, The complexity of the characters are taken away because of the limited screen time. The podcast gave a sense of isolation, the effects are distracting because with the podcast it gave enough to the listener to visualize the abstractness of it. Due to the limited budget its distracting, but it does do some better things.

Alright enough time has passed, The Edge of Sleep show is a bad adaption, alright show, but just did everything from the podcast terribly. Also it just ruined all the women characters. Ruined most of the characters really.

A lot of people showed interest in a Tycutio Week, so here we go! The Tycutio Week will run from August 4th to August 10th!

What is this event?

It's a week to celebrate tycutio with art, fanfics, crafts, even the sims screenshots... Anything goes, as long you don't use generative AI.

There are three prompts for each day of the week, you can choose one or mix them! They are here to inspire you and see what people can come up with.

If you want to participate, you don't have to do anything besides post your work at the right day - although it's okay if you are late. Use the tag #tycutioweek for easy finding! You don't need to do every single day to participate.

Unlike events like mermay, inktober, etc., we suggest to make your works ahead of time and have it ready for the week.
