Request Event: Date a robot

Hello everyone! Happy Valentine’s day!

I am opening requests for the rest of the week but in return you need to help me with your love for robots!

As some of you may know I am working in a personal 3d short film. https://primaryobjective.tumblr.com/

I was told that the story is too typical, so I am planning in changing it. For that, I am looking for opinions and suggestions.

So I need you to respond to this question: If you meet the robot of your dreams, what would you do to impress them? In return I will draw a small sketch of one character for you.

This week accomplishment

Modify road to look more futuristic.

Modify truck model and add some more textures.

Lighting test.

Condense the story for the layout. 

Start animation, still in progress.

This week progress on my film. Some big changes and some stuff stay the same. Of course I keep the cute robot. They still need a name.

WEEK 3

This week was: Failed experiments and some success.

This week accomplishment

Finish the modeling for the 2 main characters

Finish a fast texturing for Shark. Maybe going to change

Finish rigging for both characters (with help of advance skeleton)

Test animation

Change story and made a really rough layout

A new journey begins

Welcome everyone! New year new project!

This blog will be focused in the development of my 3rd Year Short Film “Primary Objective” A 3d Animation short about robot fighting!  Why are they fighting? I am still trying to figure that out ha ha.

Any way, every Tuesday I will be posting about the progress of the film from the story changes to small details on the model and look of the film, concept art and animation tests. Everything that I can accumulate in a week of work.

So if you are interested in following a 3 year 3d animation student trying to make a film feel free to follow!

I have been out of the social media loop since the new year and will keep been out the loop with the amount of school work for this semester.

So I was all ok with the fact I can’t post Not PG content on Tumblr. I still can post other kind of stuff like you know maybe a small fighting comic I am working on.

That is safe right? Maybe there is some broken robot parts here and there but it’s not meant to be sexy. You know, robot getting broken is totally PG. Samurai Jack did it all the time and it’s show for kids.

But just to be sure, I looked some of the related tags to robots getting really broken (you know the ones) and I found out they were almost completely wiped.

Well then... I may need to rethink the situation.

Oh haha. The fact that not one of more kind raunchy comics got flagged shows how flawed the system is.

Also, the Spanish version of SMILE comic got flagged but not the English one. Kissing in Spanish is too much for Tumblr.

I actually don’t know what to do with the X daki. That actually be considered inappropriate.

Now I am starting to wonder it this stuff is getting flagged because the armor kind of looks like underwear...

Was asking for review a mistake? Let see if my blog survives.

Same anon from before, irihi so far my favorite writer and hope her return soon, also i do hope you can share your experience after reading the fic I recommend < read also cold,time of day too many good ones ha>

I have a big respect for fanfic writers. It not easy to write down stories. I have tried and failed haha.

Thanks for all this recommendations! I will read them and share my thoughts when I get some more free.

Cool suggestion! Thanks you, anon. I will look it up. I have read some fics by irihi but not sure if that one in particular.

If anyone have more suggestion of good  Megaman related fics, I am all ears.
