Please help me move for my and my kid's safety

As many people know, a couple of years ago I moved back in with my mother due to my old landlord raising my rent. It was supposed to be a short, temporary situation, but then my mom got laid off from her 40-year job and couldn't afford to live here on her own anymore.

(Trigger warning for rape, abuse, and stalking for the following information)

I recently found out that my ex is getting out of prison much sooner than I thought (October 15). And right now, he knows where I live. He has already broken into this house once before. He's an extremely violent person who has beat the shit out of his friends, family members, coworkers, bosses, strangers, and of course, me. Mostly when I was pregnant with the kid he forced me into conceiving when I was in high school. The reason he was in prison this time was due to him beating up a total stranger on the sidewalk with a skateboard.

I'm genuinely terrified that he would kill us. He has told everyone for the last 7 years that he thinks he's god and he could "erase my family from existence any time he wants to."

Other women have filed restraining orders on him for rape and threatening to forcibly impregnate them, much like he did to me. Last time I spoke to him, he ignored a no-contact order in order to call and tell me he's been thinking about how much of a slut I was as a teenager.... for sleeping with him. He's 32 now. We broke up over 11 years ago. I'm still receiving letters from him telling me that he's writing a show script about me. He tattooed a picture of my face covering his entire thigh 8 years after we broke up. He has stalked me every time he's gotten out of prison. His own family doesn't even allow him near his own kid for safety reasons.

Those are just the tip of the iceberg. I'll spare everyone the rest of the details. He's just genuinely the most terrifying person I and many other people have met.

My mother told me that my sister said that she can move in with her now that my niece is an adult and will be moving out soon, so I no longer HAVE to live here in order to prevent my mom from losing her house. The thing is, I owe $1300 to my past landlord, and with being on a disability income and my car breaking down repeatedly (this is the 10th month in a row I've been paying for car repairs), I can't afford to pay that on my own, let alone within the next two months. For context, an auto shop did negligent work while replacing my tires back in December, and my tire nearly fell off on the highway, leading to an endless amount of problems with the car that I DEFINITELY can't afford to replace.

On top of needing $1300 to pay off my old landlord, I will need the funds to pay for a security deposit and first month's rent once I find a place. I'll worry about the rest later.

Please help me keep myself and my kid safe. If anything ever happens to him I won't be able to go on anymore.

Seriously, look at this man! Skrunkly, well-loved, full of so so so much love and devotion. Please help me find him a home.

Minor update, with less panic: we put some stuff off and I can keep him longer than I thought at first. A couple of months? I think? But I don't know if we can do more than that and I don't know what will happen after that, and I'm really worried for him.

Tigger's people's living situation changed for the worse and they are now in a really unsanitary house where pets are not safe, and they also cannot afford his medical expenses. He got pretty sick. They were going to euthanize but the vet said he could maybe be okay with meds, and since he could have some time left they asked me for help finding him a home. Parting with him is devastating for them. Tigger raised their youngest from an infant, was in the crib with him. This lil guy has given this world and his humans everything he has and we all want the best for him. Of course I wanted to try to help, and I think we can.

He is about 12, neutered, super sweet and friendly, okay with dogs (definitely small and allegedly large ones too) and with other cats, VERY VERY okay with kids. He gives love bites (too hard!) and head bonks. His feet are stupid tiny.

He is diabetic. I'm getting him meds and he's on scrip food and we are going to see if he improves at all. I think he has a respiratory infection but I'm getting that checked out. He might have other issues too. I can't give any guarantees.

I can't keep him indefinitely. I don't have the money to keep up with his meds or the ability to get him to the vet appointments he will need, or the ability to care for a chronically ill cat right now. I'm having health issues that leave me in pain and exhausted most days. The only room we have to host him has storm damage and a mold problem, and we have to get it repaired soon for our health. (And he looks so damn much like a cat we lost tragically last year that it is breaking my heart.)

Local shelters are stuffed and can't take a chronically ill older cat right now, so I'm stuck doing this on my own while we wait to see if anything becomes available.

Right now he is quarantined in my back room, which is worlds better than where he was but still isn't the nicest place, and he can't get as much love as he needs.

I know I keep saying please, but PLEASE. Tigger has given humans so much. He could have a lot of good time left!

Yesterday, my mother fractured her arm while trying to get aid. I couldn’t go with her because I’m severely malnourished. She smiled through the pain so we wouldn’t worry, but I could see it all in her eyes — and it broke me.

Amid the ashes and destruction, my injured daughter tries to plant a small green branch in the burned ground, as if telling the world: we are still holding on to life despite everything.
