Tomorrow is the day! I’ll go live for 12 hours straight, with help of some friends and cats!

We’ll be raising money for a cat shelter for cats with special needs. This shelter is also working on spaying and neutering stray cats (and set them free, if healthy enough, if not they will get healthcare and love at the shelter for the rest of their lives!).

Every euro/dollar is helpful, but we also sell prints, postcards and will do commissions!

For the last few months I regulary join the #1hour1sketch challange, hosted by @a4manartist The idea is that you make a sketch, painting, or whatever medium you like to work with, within an hour. Every week there will be a new prompt and a whole art-community joins the fun. I LOOOOVE IT!

This challange is pushing me out of my animal-portrait-comfortzone, wich is great. I really enjoy making these more conceptual piece a lot more than photorealistic portraits (wich I also still love doing) These are some of my works! All done within 60 minutes.

I, Marthe, will be streaming for 12 hours straight, with help from Jaap Wouterse & Veerle Creemers.

During this stream I will work on (digital) paintings and play Stardew Valley and Minecraft, but also Jaap will play live guitar and Veerle will take over for an hour to draw too! Feel free to lurk or keep us company in the chat!
