For everyone holding grief from tragedy.  Thank you so much for supporting my work!

text reads:
When tragedy falls, some pieces of us might never come home again. But we can hold the spaces where they used to live. And perhaps if I nurture the spaceS that hold love for what was here Something beautiful and new will grow within us all.

Seriously. Unless it's a gut feeling (and even then you should ask God to help investigate first), don't automatically condemn people. As the internet has proven time and time again, knee-jerk reactions don't help anyone.
Christians. beloved. my brothers and sisters. When you see something that is visually dark and eerie and perhaps foreboding (or a fellow Christian enjoying that aesthetic) immediately jumping to “Demonic! Satanic!” is extreme. Remember that God created nighttime, and Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

37.
I have reached another year, once again defying my own expectations. And, once again, I don't have much to show for it. But, I want to change that.
There's a lot that I want to accomplish this year, but I think it'd be smart to focus on one thing at a time rather than stress myself out multitasking out of impatience. Yes, I'm still working on Concept: "Mobius", but I have to shrink my focus.
So, first things first...I'm going to finish my book, Ignotium. Everything else must wait.

Not much, but I'm learning.
I'm curious. Reblog this if you know how to cook
I don’t even care if it’s macaroni, ramen or those little bowls you stick in the microwave. Please, I need reassurance that most of the population on tumblr WOULDN’T STARVE TO DEATH if their parents couldn’t fix them food or they couldn’t go out to eat.

They know they're meant to be, but refuse to let it happen, and keep finding excuses to stay apart whilst angsting about it.
Screw you, Marvel. SCREW. YOU.

hot artists don't gatekeep
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.
Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.
Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.
Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.
SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.
SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.
Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.
Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.
Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.
Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.
Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Why Are You Here?
This is for everyone in the Entertainment industry or, like me, trying to break into it. We’re here to entertain people, to make them feel good about themselves and the world around them, flaws aside. We’re supposed to make them laugh, make them cheer, make them cry, make them wonder, make them inspired.
And yes, on occasion, even make them think.
Now, there is a time and place for all of that, and I’d be remiss to say otherwise. But, the end goal of entertainment should always be exactly that: to entertain. What we should never do is lecture our audience on how to live their lives.
Presenting differing perspectives is all well and good, but we don’t need to tell them who to vote for, which lives matter and which don’t, who they should sleep with, how wrong the body they were born with is, or what/who to believe in. And we especially should not be telling people how evil, wrong, or worthless they are for disagreeing with our personal views, or for simply existing.
That. Is not. Our job.
If someone yells that it should be, that we should use this industry as a platform of some sort, ignore them. They don’t want to be entertained. Heck, they don’t even care about making the world a better place (though they may say otherwise). All they care about are their own views and their own agenda, and for as many people as possible to follow their rhetoric.
They don’t want to be a part of this industry. They want to control it. That includes every branch and aspect: television, film, music, art…and yes, even comic books and video games. Whatever the medium, they want in, and as long you’re afraid of them or greedy enough to take whatever intangible money they offer you, this industry will continue to be less and less about entertainment.
Now, some of you are either exactly who I described, at least to some degree. You’re sick pf the way things are. You hate being underrepresented or unheard. You feel left out of the conversation or unwanted. I understand that completely. However, what you should not be doing is twisting your respective mediums to suit your personal needs or agendas. That should never be your goal. EVER.
Again, I understand having a bone to pick, but one of the rules of the workplace is to leave personal issues at the door, right? So, I ask you: Why are you here, in the entertainment industry? Are you here to make a point? Or are you here to entertain??
If it’s the former, then with all due respect, I’m afraid this is not the industry for you, and I humbly ask that you leave. There are other venues for you to take your message. The rest of us need to get back to entertaining people.

A.I. photos are flooding social media and contributing to an Internet where we can't believe what we see. Spotting A.I. 📷s is an important media literacy skill.
None of us have time to research every image we see. We just need people to notice BEFORE THEY LIKE OR SHARE that an image might be fake. If unsure, check it or don't share.
I've started drawing some comics explaining the basic of AI spot-checking and media literacy in the age of disinformation. Follow along here or on my Twitter.
