Resident Evil 4 In A Nutshell is now on YouTube and Newgrounds!
Maybe Leon S Kennedy isn't the right person to save the president's daughter.
Well, it's been up for 20 days. I'm just shockingly bad at keeping up with all social media platforms. Here's a look at one of the scenes from the animation. Full video is in the link below!
Hope you enjoy it!

When the pandemic first hit and the UK went into lockdown, I had a ton of free time after work hours so i wanted to give pencil blending a go. Thought i did pretty well with the shading and all that but definitely could have done better with the drawing itself. The legs look proper wonky and some of the linework like the chest detailing is a bit off.
Never mind. Also, when are we gonna get a new Spyro game?!
Something I did the night after i came home from watching Halloween Kills. I quite enjoyed the chaos of that film. I'd be lying if i said the film wasn't a little bit hokey with the crowds constantly chanting "Evil dies tonight", but beyond that i enjoyed it. Halloween 2018 is still my favorite of the new trilogy though.
Gonna start posting older artwork on here (Stuff i'm still proud of, not just any old crap i used to do).
Here's a little something i did when the Dead Space remake was first announced a few years ago. Still happy with the lighting on this one. I couldn't find a proper reference image of Isaac's suit at the time so i just kind of winged it for the most part.
Hopefully i get time to do more stuff like this in the future.
I was struggling with Insomnia last night and wanted to draw something from The Boys so i ended up drawing that devious little scamp, Homelander. I dread to think what he's gonna do in season 4.
I was also going to draw Billy Butcher but I was totally wiped by the end of drawing this. He's there in spirit though.
Figured i'd start posting work in progress stuff for upcoming animations. Currently working on a Resident Evil 4 parody. Hoping to get that out sometime at the end of July. Here's a few gifs (That face melt one was supposed to be a lot goofier).
These were all previously shown off on twitter over the last few months. The video itself is looking to be about 3-4 minutes in length.
That meme’s dead now, right?
Look, at least Corey Cruise got Postal Brain Damaged and Paradise Lost. It’s what he deserved for being the only good thing about Postal 3.
Gonna try my best to get into a habit of using Tumblr a bit more. That weird tesla man keeps getting worse and worse by the month over on the “other site”.
ANYWAYS, Outside of animating, I draw stuff sometimes. Here’s my rejected redesign of Leon S.Kennedy for the Resident Evil 4 remake (As well as Karl Heisenberg and Chris Redfield from RE Village. Figured i’d throw those up here too).
Capcom, there’s still time to change it. Gimme a call, babe.
Not gonna lie, I thought i’d have my next animation ready to post up here by now but It’s been nearly a week since i started back on this account, I’ve posted nothing since then and I’ve still got a fair bit to do on the current animation.
So I’m just going to post a link to my last animation “Postal 2: Manic Monday”.
I promoted the absolute shit out of this on Twitter so for the few people who followed me from over there....i’m very, very sorry because you’re probably sick of seeing this on your feeds!
Screw it, I just purged and rebranded this account! (Formerly ThePsychoticEnigma). I decided to jump back on here because Elon the Tesla man has made a ton of bonehead decisions over on Twitter and you can just tell it’s going to go to shit over there. (I’m still on twitter but i’m branching out).
Hi there! My name is Ryan, I animate gahbage and love horror and heavy metal! Nice to meet you! here’s my out of date Showreel (which i’m going to update in the new year after i complete my current projects)
I honestly don’t know what to say. George A. Romero is my idol. Hes the reason why i wanted to get in to film-making. I just can't believe it.
I still remember watching both Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead and Day of the Dead back to back when i got the box-set for my birthday 17 year ago when i was 5 (I come from a family that loves all kinds of films so it was sort of normal to watch films at that age). I remember asking for it because i wanted to know where the zombie genre really started, and although these weren’t the first zombie films ever made, Without them, we wouldn’t have the zombie films that we know today. He was an innovator of the genre.
I remember being scared by each and every one at a young age, yet I was also being intrigued by how George tackled certain subjects like how in Dawn of the Dead, It’s possible that the zombies are much like humans as they’re being drawn towards the mall for human flesh like we are drawn to mall because of consumerism or how in Day of the Dead they played with the idea of the zombie being trained up to walk amongst the living and the whole scientist playing god idea and even down to the simplicity of Night of the Living Dead being a survival flick. He always had something that made each and every film feel different.
Even his other films like The Crazies, Creepshow and Season of the Witch were fantastic films in their own right. It’s honestly difficult to see such a legendary and influential director leave us.
Thank you for everything, George. You will be missed! #RIPGeorgeRomero
A portrait of the Doom Slayer from DOOM (2016) holding Daisy, the rabbit of the original Doomguy. Painted on 16"x20" canvas using various brands of acrylic paint.
Although it’s not been confirmed by any official sources that the Doom Slayer is the same person as Doomguy, I wanted to pair the two together since Daisy is referenced in one of multiplayer DLC maps. Whether you interpret this painting as Doom Slayer/Doomguy finally reuniting with Daisy or simply Doom Slayer finding the poor rabbit and wanting to protect her is up to you.
This took around 60 hours to complete, which doesn’t count the time it took to make the original sketch and transcribe it onto the canvas. I painted for 12 days at about 5 hours each day, working on various chunks of the painting each session. Started with the head and finished with the super shotgun.
Overall I’m pleased with the end result, though I can never get good photos of my paintings so there’s always glare in parts. Sorry about that.
I’d like to give thanks to the some model artists/model rippers out there whose images of the Doom Slayer model from the game provided great references for parts of the suit: BlueFlytrap998, Neverstops, lemon100.
