📝 New Poem on Substack
Title: When Hate Reigns…
In a time when division feels louder than unity, I wrote a poem.
It’s raw. It’s honest. It stares Hate in the face.
And it asks: How did we get here?
In America today, the line between politics and humanity is blurring.
This piece is my response.
My protest.
My hope.

That time I was on Fox 6 News in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to promote my poetry book SWIMMING THE STORM. Also had a reading that day at Martha Merrill's Bookstore in Racine.
It was an awesome experience.

🖤 NEW eBook Release 🖤
My poetry book Swimming the Storm is now available as an eBook.
This is more than a collection of poems — it’s a raw, unfiltered journey through grief, heartbreak, and the quiet moments we rarely speak of. Every word is a piece of my healing, written for anyone who’s ever loved deeply and lost painfully.
For anyone who has had to Swim the Storm
💔 For the sleepless nights.
💬 For the words you couldn’t say.
🕯️ For the parts of you still mending.
If you’re walking through darkness or holding someone’s memory close, I hope these pages bring you comfort.

🎭 Throwback to a Story Close to My Heart 🎭
YOU CAN CALL ME EVE — a Latin-themed drama I wrote, that was produced in 2011— tells the story of an older Latina woman navigating grief, identity, and rediscovery after the loss of her husband. ❤️‍🩹🌹
This collage brings back so many powerful memories from that time — the passion, the rehearsals, the community, and the deep emotions that flowed through every scene.
So grateful for the amazing team who helped bring this vision to life. It was more than a play — it was a tribute to resilience, love, and the strength of women redefining their next chapter

✨Big News!✨
I’m writing a book. 📖💬
This project has been living in my mind (and heart) for a long time, and I’ve finally decided to bring it to life. It explores grief, love, and the journey of life as a woman in the Latin culture
It’s still in the works, but I’m excited (and nervous!) to share parts of the journey with you. There will be late nights, rewrites, and probably too much coffee ☕— but I can’t wait to see where this leads.
Thanks in advance for cheering me on. More updates coming soon. 💛
