Mechanisms Women's Week 2025 is officially over! Everyone's submissions have been amazing and it's been such a pleasure to see them.

As I've mentioned before, if you're still working on something you planned to submit, it isn't too late! Keep tagging me and I'll keep sharing for a while yet.

The level of response and enthusiasm this year has been incredible to see. I'm so glad so many people came to share ideas, create things, and appreciate others' creativity. Thank you to everyone who was involved, whether you made anything, cheered the event on, or just lurked and watched! It's been fantastic to share this space with y'all <3

oops I've been really bad at posting my @mechanismswomensweek fics here how about I just give you the last three all in one post

remember me, I sing: For the prompt Past/Future. A character study of Snow. 10k words, 1/2 chapters.

fireflies: For the free day. Four times one Rose Red OC (Freckles) saw fireflies. 3.3k words.

the crossroads (where you're forced to draw the line): For the prompt Technology/Immortality. A character study of the Red Hood. 7.7k words.

here it is!! at 52 seconds long, it is easily the longest thing i have animated thus far. it is easily one of the pieces i am most proud of thus far. i present: anastasia romanova, otherwise known as the one and only nastya rasputina, in "the private and intimate life of the house" from npatgco1812, set in the ice, snow, and blood of her homeworld, cyberia.

i did not plan this for @mechanismswomensweek but i'm gonna go ahead and tag you anyways bc this week did inspire me to finish this tonight! sadly i am ten minutes over in my timezone but, well. it's 12 o'clock somewhere!

Sigyn's laugh a really beautiful laugh, if you ask Loki, though she's sure that anyone else would say the same. It was a low laugh, the sort that you really mean, the sort that is earth-shaking and you feel it down to your bone. The sort of laugh that'd be an almost-giggle in another lifetime, one with less mirth and less full-shining happiness. Like cracking open a hard old rock and inside you find amethyst, glittering. The kind of laugh that, when coming from Sigyn, makes some kind of small insect in Loki's chest dance – and it's not long until Loki's laughing along.

Loki helps to run the soup kitchen of Sigyn's terrorist cell, in the early days. There's so much beauty to even find in the smallest of things.
