If anyone’s in the Easley, South Carolina area, and is decent at Asteroids, go to Tyler’s Toy Box and beat my high score. I set you a nice low bar to clear.

random thoughts II
(been too long tbh)
- I would be burned at the stake immediately upon entering the 17th century.
- But *when* is opening time on Fascination Street
- I hate knowing that Revenge of the Sith (2005) is 20 years old, and that I am only two years younger than it.
- I would like to have the option to toggle between this normal-ass life, and that of a reclusive 287-year old vampire that lives in an old castle in the woods, has a nice library/media room, and a little fluffy bat friend.
- Befriend as many crows as possible, that way, you can send them to attack those that have wronged you, and you can amass all their riches.

ah shit, I forgot to formally acknowledge friday the 13th yesterday.
I was simply too busy repairing the ol’ basement cauldron to use it for the festivities in the woods last night,

The phrase “expect the unexpected” is paradoxical. In expecting the unexpected, the unexpected becomes the expected, and thus you are not allowed to expect it, trapping one in an infinite loop of expecting and not expecting simultaneously.
Anyway, my brain hurts now, so I’m going to rinse it out by listening to Painted Bird a couple of times, the mention of which turns this post into today’s obligatory Acknowledgement of Siouxsie’s Birthday Post.

for further context, back in January, she cancelled a production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on its first rehearsal day (I was in the cast btw) and we still have no official answer from her. when my mom asked her, she was told the play was “adult rated” and couldn’t possibly be performed in a high school. my mom and I did research after that which proved that wrong laughably fast. she also outright censored our school paper from covering anything about the cancellation. the current theory as to the reasoning is that a parent complained to her about the show’s gay dad characters, and, not wanting to lose face, she gave into their demands. in trying to protect her image, she only tarnished it more.
after doing the more than satisfactory replacement play (Peter and the Starcatcher), I emailed the principal with multiple sources that proved her wrong, and a simple request for an honest answer. she must’ve gotten all uppity about it (mind you, I was quite public within the school about this situation, while she maintained total radio silence) because a day or so later, I got called to the assistant principal’s office, and their main argument was that going fully public within the school my evidence and information would “make her look bad”. that’s shallow beyond the point of it being funny. she had a couple of lackeys call my mom, and they received no sympathy, thankfully. she threatened to not let me walk at graduation over me proving her wrong with citations, but now that I’m out from under her thumb, I can tell the community everything it needs to know about the narcissistic liar in the principal’s office at pickens high school.
now that I’ve graduated high school, I can prove the principal wrong all I want and she can’t do a thing about it.

I want to rescore Revenge of the Sith with goth music.
Just imagine it.
Cities in Dust over the Mustafar duel. One Hundred Years over Order 66. Spellbound over the Obi-Wan vs. Grievous duel. This Corrosion over the Senate duel. Transmission over the opening battle over Coruscant. Replacing the floating water opera with a Space Bauhaus concert.
So many options. So much potential.

Nobody is going to understand any of the references in this video bc they’re all somewhat deep cut in-jokes with my friends, but I figured I’d share it anyway bc I like messing around with blender and etc.
