Look who spawned this evening

This somewhat larger monster is definitely a prototype, with mismatched thread and zips, handmade bias binding, and extremely on the fly photos, but he’s here, he’s fabulous, and he has a mind boggling appetite.

As a side note, my little second hand sewing machine deserves a frickin medal. It sewed through a ridiculous amount of fabric that some industrial machines would think twice about.

The proper version, made by people with machines designed for the job is soon to be available for pre order on backerkit ^-^.

My new set of campaign notebooks has come!!! House Baratheon, Stark, Lannister, and Targaryen are now pleasingly displayed on the "new things" shelf. Much satisfaction, such anticipation. May a nib hopefully now traverse paper in patterns of fantastical adventure! 😍😍😍

Another great session of NPC abuse last night, as the player characters proceeded to strip the local publican of honest business and continue their plans for murdering the Marshall of a Rohirric village. While a Tolkien campaign may be based on high fantasy you can't always expect your players to act accordingly 😂

Maximum inspiration reached 😍😍😍📚 Reading the Haoughton & Mifflin 50th anniversary edition of Lord Of The Rings. I could say it’s a little unrelated to D&D, but then again being regarding as the seminal work of modern fantasy upon which D&D and many other universes are based, is no small deal in my books 😛 LONG LIVE FANTASY!

When The Bard Uses Polymorph

Context : We’re all level 8 in the middle of a battle between the party and a group of Fomorians and giants. I, playing a Wizard who’s a little too brave for his own good, cast fly on myself and close in on a Fomorian who tried to run away. Once at the end of my fly speed, I drank a potion of fire breathing.

DM : It is now Mestipen’s (Bard) turn.

Mestipen : I want to call out Leocanto (me) “Hey, Leo! Check this out.” And I want to start playing a rendition of the Jurassic Park theme on my Lute and cast Polymorph to change Leocanto into a Tyrannosaurus Rex. 

DM : Does Leocanto resist?

Me : Never even crossed my mind.

DM : Okay. You are now a flying, fire breathing T Rex roaring in the face of a Fomorian who looks VERY afraid.

Me : *ooc* God I love D&D.
