A/N: Day 8 for @mermay-forever

Humans aren’t supposed to have relationships with Mermaids. So they keep the relationship a secret. Amanda comes to the surface only when she knows Cecilia is alone, Cecilia makes excuses to ‘go swimming’ for her health, never once telling her family she sneaks into the quiet cave that allows her to lie with Amanda, wrapped in her arms, soaking up the simple pleasure of being loved by the other woman. Nobody else needs to know about them, not for them to be happy. They are found out only when Cecilia is dying, Amanda dragging the woman underwater, exposing herself as a mermaid by changing Cecilia, bringing the woman back to life with the simplest bite and pull, holding Cecilia there as she changes. Nobody else knows what happened, except Amanda’s protectors and friends, the group welcoming Cecilia as one of their own slowly as they see how much Amanda cares for the other woman.

Ingrid, sea mermaid, ice mermaid, had always hated the thought of humans, people who walked the land, finding their way to the sea. As she watched, however, the woman she had come to know as dangerous, a pirate, almost a pirate queen, was harder to hate. Morgan had freed her, once. Seeing her trapped had seemed to anger her. So, when Ingrid sees Morgan sunbathing, she watches, quietly longing for the other woman. Her plans change when the woman is attacked, dragged into the sea by other, angrier, mermaids, her claim quick and true. “Leave her. She’s mine.” Morgan wakes on a rock, Ingrid watching over her with gentle eyes. “Didn’t think sunbathing would be dangerous…” “It’s always dangerous.” Ingrid murmured softly, letting her lips brush against Morgan’s. “At least now we can keep each other safe.”

Hey, sorry to bother you but I had a question about rule one. I'm considering writing a Jaime/Brienne fic (from Game of Thrones) - however the imagined plot I have also deals with Jaime's past relationship.

In canon, Jaime and his sister have a relationship with each other (and children) - and I would refer to that in the fic, although the focus wouldn't be on a romantic relationship between the siblings. Instead, it'd be more of Jaime leaving it and dealing with it.

Would this still be allowed? There's no pressure to say no, I just don't want to tag in something you'd feel uncomfortable reblogging
