Things are going well! I've had the chance to play around with some new bits of looping code, and now I should be almost done writing part two of chapter 2.

I had some scenes planned that accidentally ended up a bit longer than anticipated, so I had to adjust some mirroring stuff to match, but overall I'm pleased with my effort. Pat myself on the back once :)

Now, I'm unsure whether I should post this bit first, or wait until the whole chapter is finished, if you have a preference let me know! Of course patre*on supporters will get everything ahead of the public release regardless, because they super deserve it.

As an update, I've been working on the main story again, and have managed to add about 5k words already, which is...a lot for me personally! I've truly missed my tiny, unruly children.

Hello, hi, it's been a while. I'm sorry for suddenly going missing. Things have been...so messy.

I've lost a family member, and one more is very ill. My own mental and physical health have been unreliable at best. We live in difficult times.

I've put off writing this time and time again, but ultimately decided I'd rather speak up than not. For a small writer, the guilt of not keeping up with my own schedule sure is big! Although it feels a little silly to type.

That said, I've picked up the pieces and will continue writing AHYS from now on. I've missed my ship and my tiny little people flying on top. But it's a vessel that can withstand grief just fine, we'll be alright.

As always, thank you for your patience with me.

As a post-scriptum, the AHYS discord server needs to be rebuilt. We've had unknown issues that broke it completely for some, not showing members and emptying channels etc. I've warned whoever I could reach, but in case I missed someone, I apologize for the poor experience! I'll port everything to a new server soon, and work on sending invites to old members. While I sort that out, you can still reach me here or on p*atron in case you need anything. Thank you again for being patient.

i just wanted to say i loved your demo. it might be becuase of the way you write but i find it really special. i cant wait to read more, please dont drop the project i beg you!

Thank you so very much. Comments like these truly help me realize someone actually enjoys my stories, and it motivates me to write more. I know most of you are shy, and that's totally alright, but I can't help but cherish every single positive little note I get.

If it wasn't for the numbers and statistics I would honestly think no one even reads my things, haha.

That said, I won't be dropping AHYS, but in case it doesn't help me secure financial stability, the time I'll be able to work on it will be cut into tiny tiny pieces, slowing down updates by months and cutting down all extra content.

I'd hate for that to happen, my heart would genuinely break. Still, I'll keep doing my best to make sure to see the story to its end, and one way or another, we'll meet again there.
