Having woken up some time into the night, Erik had stared at the ceiling and walls before making the decision that going for a walk to the kitchen would be a better use of time. It may even tire him out the slight bit he needed to get back to sleep.

The kitchen, of course, had been empty. It was nearly three in the morning, after all. He opened the fridge and stared at the contents. He didn’t really comprehend what he was looking at before closing the door again. Standing straight, Erik stretched and placed a hand behind his head, unsure what to do now that he was up. It seemed as though leaving his bed was having the opposite effect he had wanted.

“As much as I love our conversation about me turning good or whatever you had said,” truth be told, Erik hadn’t truly been paying attention, “I do have a wife and children to return home to.”

Traveling through the new country was fun for Astoria. She had been having a great day. The past few weeks had been filled with nothing but new environments and cultures. She was quite happy she had taken her father’s advice and travelled, though she highly doubted he meant for his only child to leave the country.

Unfortunately, Astoria seemed to have stumbled upon a pub that had not been host to a great day. As soon as she opened the door, she barely had time to drop her bag in shock at the sight of a man with a knife through his hand before a bullet sounded off.

She didn’t even mean to, but her entire body went up in flames, allowing the bullet to pass through without harming her.

Things didn’t usually come as a surprise to Erik nowadays. It would be quite remarkable if anything shocked him more than finding another dead end on the trail to Shaw and those don’t necessarily shock him as much as annoy. So, to see the person erupt into flames and not hit the ground with the bullet’s impact jarred him a little.

Erik was able to keep his shock inside him aside from giving the woman --the flames were feminine in shape, at least-- an impressed expression. Unfortunately, the same could not be said for the man who Erik knifed. The human had began screaming the moment the flames were shown. Erik immediately pulled the trigger again, this time aiming the bullet at the man’s head.

Once it was quiet, he said, “Thought I was the only one.”

♕ Yay for annoying your IRL friend for a new theme. @fierymutant personalized a theme for me again. I found it and I begged her and I got my way. I’m sorry, not sorry. She spent a long time on it. I’m so lazy when it comes for this stuff.

Now, though, I am ready to RP!! May post some opens tonight or tomorrow. I have to make sure all my homework is done first.

Even though this is a new blog and new theme, it’s just a starter theme for me. @fierymutant and I have identical themes because she did the coding. (Well, she found a theme she liked and then filled it ALL out for me.) I’m going to hunt for a theme that better suits Erik. (She knows I’m going to do this, I just wanted to make a note to every else just in case someone tries to message or inbox me and I fail to respond.)

Maybe I’ll find something that doesn’t need so much work because I’m lazy when it comes to coding. She literally made the background, images, and promo stuff you all see. I am useless when it comes to this. Who thinks I should go bug her in her dorm and beg her to do this again for me?

It hadn’t even been half a day, but Erik was coming close to the end of his patience with the humans already. The beer would need to be followed by many more or something stronger if the day didn’t end soon. He had followed the trail he had been given, only to end up in another country with another lead, not the end result he wanted.

With the gun in hand, Erik turned it on the human, planning on ending his life there, but the door to the pub opened. Without removing his sight from the human, he turned the gun to the entrance. Once he saw someone enter in his peripheral, Erik pulled the trigger.
