A collaboration between Namiko Mori (sound) and visuals (mettle.com). Namiko Mori is a Film Composer based in Los Angeles. She was a recipient of the BMI/Jerry Goldsmith scholarship for UCLA Film Scoring in 2014. Aetherea is a theme that we explored together as part of a generative art series.

Mettle Vector World. This are stills from a work-in-progress motion graphics project that we are doing at mettle, using After Effects. These images are created using our 3D plug-in FreeForm Pro. We're using simple vector shapes and replicating and rotating them. Amazing complex results from simple vectors.

The Flower and The Sword. Two contrasting themes that come together very well in this motion graphics sequence by vj.nanographica (Tsukasa Kishimoto). Tsukasa wanted to express these traditional Japanese themes in a contemporary style. It's created entirely in After Effects using mettle's 3D plug-in FreeForm Pro. 

When Tsukasa showed us this sequence at mettle, Nancy (mettle.com) asked if she could do the musical arrangement. She felt inspired by his mystical style. She was honoured that Tsukasa agreed.  :)
