Hey, wanna make a JoJo OC or a stand, but don't know how?

Well, here's a tutorial on how to do that.

Step 1: making the character's personality.

It's very important to know who they are, where they come from, what they do for a living, how they behave; all that jazz. (This will be important for later)

Step 2: designing the character

If you look at most, if not every character in JoJo from part one and onward, you'll begin to notice a pattern

The pattern? They get cuntier with each generation. Mostly because series creator, Hirohiko Araki kept taking more and more inspiration from his trips around the world to make characters stand out more. I'm not saying you should fly around the world, no one has that much time and money. But I guess Pinterest is at your disposal, find some fashion you like and get down to designing. Its also important to note that the style matches the character's personality, which is very important for the final step

Step 3: designing the stand

Now, in the shortest terms, a stand is a representation of the soul of its user. It has to match the user's personality at first, and their style at second. For example: this character I've made a long time ago.

Ma Baker, the FBI's most wanted woman who lost her son's in a shootout of their last heist. Before the cops could turn her in, she was shot with an arrow that gave her the stand [Foster The People], which are a colony stand that she treats like her own children and is fully sentient. So it's kind of like [Sex Pistols] from Part 5 but based off the Torches X album by Foster The People (the band)

Not all stands aren't great though. Example:

A stands power doesn't need to be overly complicated to be strong. Nor does it have to be too weak to be forgetful. Creating stands and stand users to me is a therapeutic thing, a way to get my feelings out in a way.

Hey, it's fine. If you need any help with art, or oc stuff, or yapping about life, I'll help with my miniscule brain :)

Redrew my jjba oc! Recently re-download this app. Thank you to the person who reblogged my previous drawing of her and said really nice things. You gave me the motivation to draw her again. I still don't know much about my oc, but I'm focusing on her personality first more than anything. I'd say Odette is a pretty quiet and awkward person. She gives off that energy to me. However, I believe her shyness completely disappears when it comes to dancing. She gives off ballerina vibes. Maybe she does ballet. Maybe she doesn't, but one thing for sure is that I know she LOVES to dance. I'll try and figure out where she belongs and her lore, but for now, she's a kind dancer. (Also, her stand is still the same. Not changing that. That song means so much to me.)

Anyway, I just want to thank that person again. You actually got me to stop crying (I was journaling and crying about my dad, but shh). Thank you for providing a happy distraction. I'm not sad anymore, and I'm probably gonna fall asleep thinking about my oc instead of thinking about a man who isn't worth the tears. ❤️‍🩹
