i've watched two parts of lotr in russian goblin translation-adaptations (dont't ask) sooo happy that this returned me at my tolkien-phase in a fit of inspiration, i think over my near-soviet au AND IT'S PERFECT FOR THE LEGENDARIUM

on the sketsh plays out a moment from the translation, where legolas is called fatherless when introducing the characters (this is legolas from the mirkwood vs when other characters are named with their fathers names). and it's sound so cool with russian name-patronymic and european absence of patronymics (in the goblin translation, legolas is from the baltic states) WELLLL HERE WE GO AGAIN love russian fandom of tolkien so much

So I'm an eldest sibling, and there's this thing that happens sometimes when your younger sibling *demands* that you do something completely reasonable and for some reason that makes it a matter of pride. "Drink more water", "Get your sunscreen", "Tie your shoes", pffft. You can't tell me what to do, you're not my mom. I will not be commanded by a fetus. And then you trip and fall ass over teakettle because you should've tied your shoes. Anyway I'm projecting this onto Sans Undertale now
