Introduction
Hi! Welcome to my blog :)
My name is Syl, pronounced "sill," & I use they/them pronouns. I've been practicing witchcraft at varying levels for about 7-8 years now, & consider myself an eclectic witch.
In general, I'm a very casual practitioner. I enjoy the research and gathering of stories, & don't often practice in big, notable ways. I'm also a college student living on campus, so my ability to practice is somewhat limited.
With this blog, I just want to share information, ideas, & tips for people like me. People limited by time, money, energy, or their environment. People who sometimes question what they're doing, or what they believe in. People who feel the need to justify themselves, or practice in more common, recognizable ways. I often feel like being in the witch community online (on any platform) can feel stressful, like you're not doing enough, or capable enough, or established enough. So, I want to provide a space of reassurance & acceptance, while also giving some of my own thoughts about witchcraft and the community.
Outside of all that, I spend a most of my time studying, working, or napping. I study performance design for theatre, focusing on scenic design. I have a strong interest in queer history and literature, & am genderfluid and bisexual myself. My favorite colors are yellow and green. I'm a Libra sun, Virgo moon, & Aries rising. I spend most of my free time with my partner, watching TV, or playing video games.
This blog will never be sexual, though it may occasionally address some sensitive topics. I'm always open to asks, DMs, & any sort of engagement! I may take a while to respond, but I promise I'm friendly! :)

go onto the Internet, see all those pretty and professional Grimoirs and Book of Shadows. So beautiful
Look at my book of shadows. It's a lil kid note book I got from my little sister. Both are totally valid. Both are beautiful in their own ways. Maybe mine isn't as aesthetic, but it has meaning
Reblog to support non aesthetic witchcraft and Book of Shadows/Grimoirs
