I was tagged by @jpeg-dot-jpeg in the WIP Title Tag Game!!! Very excited to particpate <3
AM I A MONTH LATE IN RESPONDING TO THIS?? Yes. Yeppp...Oops.
Rules: reveal the titles of the documents in your WIP folder and tag as many people as there are documents. Let others ask questions about the ones that interest them and post snippets or explain the contents as you see fit!
My docs are a mess, I don't even have a WIP folder these days. Here are a few of the most recent of like 50 WIPs I probably have.
Alternate Universe Travel Tim
Absolution 2 - Bad Dinner Scene
Absolution 2 - Babysitter Scene
Absolution 2 - Main
Asylum Tim
Too sleepy rn to bother tagging anyone with this one. :)

How is All Birds Have Talons 2 going?
Ngl, it's definitely on the...BACK back burner. I get...very easily side tracked. I always appreciate asks/comments like these, though. It lets me know what people want and it's a nudge back toward those WIPs.

The problem with Batman in his present incarnation is that we need simultaneously to believe that this is a man who can effortlessly ninja his way through dozens of gun-toting mercenaries, and that this is a man to whom Danny DeVito with an umbrella is a credible threat.

Um. So. Here's another one I prompted in honor of Paddy's Day coming up? You're welcome. 😂 I love that Tim doesn't really seem to help at first, he just watched these idiots.
It was just another night in Gotham City for Tim Drake, Damian Wayne, Dick Grayson, and Jason Todd. They were patrolling the city, looking for trouble, when they stumbled upon a strange creature.
At first, they thought it was just a figment of their imaginations. After all, it was a leprechaun, complete with a green suit and a pot of gold. But when it started to cackle maniacally and throw gold coins at them, they realized that this was no ordinary leprechaun.
The Bat-Family quickly sprang into action, each one taking a different approach to try and subdue the creature.
Damian charged in, his sword flashing in the moonlight. But the leprechaun was too quick for him, dodging and weaving around his attacks.
Dick tried to reason with it, using his skills as a negotiator to try and calm the creature down. But the leprechaun only laughed in his face and continued to throw gold coins.
Jason decided to go for brute force, charging at the leprechaun with all his might. But the creature simply vanished into thin air, leaving Jason to crash into a nearby building.
Tim watched all of this with a sense of disbelief. He had seen some strange things in his time as Robin, but this was something else entirely.
As the Bat-Family regrouped, the leprechaun reappeared, this time with a crazed look in its eyes.
"I'll give you one chance to hand over that gold," it said, pointing at the pot with a gnarled finger.
But the Bat-Family wasn't about to back down. They were the protectors of Gotham, and they wouldn't let some psychotic leprechaun terrorize their city.
They launched into action once more, working together to try and subdue the creature. Tim used his gadgets to try and trap it, while Damian and Dick worked together to distract it.
Jason came in for the finishing blow, using all his strength to deliver a punch that sent the leprechaun flying.
As it crashed to the ground, the creature let out a final, pitiful cry before vanishing into thin air once more.
The Bat-Family looked at each other, unsure of what to make of the strange encounter.
"Well, that was...different," Tim said, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Welcome to Gotham," Dick said, offering a small smile.
And with that, they continued their patrol, ready for whatever strange and unusual encounters the night had in store for them.

ChatGPT wrote me a Jason saves JJ story and it's? Great? This thing is crazy, it's soo much fun to play with. Here's a little robot-generated gift for y'all.
The Joker had always been a thorn in Batman's side, but his latest scheme was by far the most twisted and sadistic. He had kidnapped Tim Drake, the former Robin, and subjected him to a horrific experiment that turned him into Joker Junior, a twisted and demented version of himself.
When Jason Todd heard about what had happened to his friend, he knew he had to act fast. He had no love for Tim, but he still felt a sense of responsibility towards him as a former Robin and a fellow vigilante.
So, he donned his Red Hood costume and made his way to the abandoned amusement park where the Joker was keeping Tim captive. He knew it would be dangerous, but he had faced worse before.
As he approached the entrance to the park, he saw Joker's henchmen milling about, heavily armed and on high alert. He had to be careful not to get caught, or he risked blowing his cover and putting Tim in even more danger.
He snuck past the guards and made his way through the maze of tunnels and traps that made up the Joker's lair. It was a twisted and macabre place, filled with grotesque decorations and booby traps designed to trap and kill unwary intruders.
But Jason was no ordinary intruder. He was the Red Hood, and he was determined to rescue Tim no matter what.
Finally, he reached the room where Tim was being held. It was a small, cramped space, with walls covered in graffiti and a single, flickering light bulb casting eerie shadows across the room.
Tim was huddled in the corner, his face twisted into a grotesque grin and his eyes glowing with madness. He was holding a small, blood-stained knife, and Jason could see the fresh scars crisscrossing his arms and legs.
"Tim," Jason said, his voice gentle but firm. "It's me, Jason. I'm here to help you."
But Tim didn't seem to recognize him. He just cackled maniacally and lunged at Jason with the knife.
Jason was forced to fight back, dodging Tim's attacks and trying to subdue him without hurting him too badly. It was a difficult task, as Tim seemed to be almost immune to pain and was fueled by a twisted sense of joy in his own suffering.
But finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Jason was able to subdue Tim and knock him unconscious. He picked him up in his arms and made his way back through the tunnels, dodging traps and henchmen alike.
As he emerged into the daylight, he was met by Batman and the rest of the Bat-Family, who had come to back him up. They took Tim to the Batcave, where they were able to reverse the effects of the Joker's experiment and restore him to his former self.
Jason watched from the sidelines, feeling a sense of pride and relief as Tim returned to normal. He knew that they had been enemies in the past, but in that moment, he felt a sense of kinship with Tim that he had never felt before.
And as they left the Batcave, he turned to Tim and said, "You owe me one, kid."
Tim smiled weakly and nodded, and Jason knew that he had done the right thing. He had saved a life, and that was all that mattered.

Last Line Tag Game
Rules: Post the last sentence/line from your WIP or wherever you left off in your art. Then tag as many people as there are words in the sentence/line. Please make a new post if you decide to join the game, don't do it under this post
Tagged again! Thanks @fleur-de-violette ❤️
I've written a little more from the same WIP as last time, so this is from the same fic.
When they finally usher Talon into the house, the door closes behind them with a finality that twists JJ's stomach.
Still too anxious to tag anyone this time, lol. I still love being tagged though!

Thanks for the tag @friendlyneighborhood-writer ^_^
JJ is glad he found him when he did. He's going to protect this kid with his life.
My anxiety is too high today to pick people out to tag right now lol, so no tags, but if you're reading this I'd love to see your sentences in the replies. 🥺

Oooh for a JJ fic, what about something with timmy recovering and having a laugh episode, and triggers jason and hurt/comfort ensues? Or something along those lines, I can't put my thoughts in words well lol. But def something with timmy and him being ashamed with the laughing but with lots of comfort? Sorry this ask is a mess xD But I love your work btw!
This kind of scene will definitely end up in one of my JJ fics at some point. ^_^

it’s been a while but i’m wondering if you’d be open to sharing some more details about all birds have talons 2? i’ve been thinking ab this fic for moonths and i find myself coming back to reread it pretty often so i’m very hyped for the sequel!
Yes!
The fic focuses on freshly ex-Talon Jason and Sasha. I got several thousand words in before I realized I was accidentally writing what was essentially a darker, Jason-version of swimming is to drowning as flying is to by TransSilver. >.< Oops.
I haven't yet decided if Sasha is going to be jealous of the fam and trying to keep them away from Jason, or if she's going to try to push him toward them.
Here's a little Sasha-focused snippet. (Please excuse the lack of editing on this one.)
The first time Sasha convinced him to take her out, he didn't bother trying to stay undetected. Sasha needed lessons in stealth, but that would come later.
Jason wasn't following Red Robin this time, but they inevitably crossed paths anyway. When Red Robin spotted the both of them he altered his course and landed at the edge of the rooftop where Jason was teaching Sasha how to handle a grapple.
Sasha bristled when she noticed the boy and stood tense beside Jason. He lay a hand on her shoulder and squeezed in reassurance.
"You have a sidekick," Red Robin said in way of greeting. Not one to mince words, evidently.
"I am not a sidekick," Sasha snapped immediately. "We are partners."
"Right." He turned his attention to Jason. "I wanted to thank you for that save the other night. You saved me from having to sew up a bullet hole in the back of my suit."
Jason almost snorted. Saved Alfred the trouble, maybe. Instead he just nodded in response.
"You don't talk much," Red Robin observed.
"That's because—" Sasha stopped herself and took a peek up at Jason. She had a habit of running her mouth, and she was slowly learning to rein herself in, but of course she couldn't stop herself from jumping to Jason's defense.
Jason looked down at her and shrugged. She knew to keep his most important secret. Beyond that, he didn't care what anyone knew.
"Because?" Tim prompted.
"Because he can't talk. So don't be rude."
Red Robin actually looked surprised for a moment. "Oh." He cocked his head. "But you spoke the other night."
"It hurts him." Which…wasn't technically true. It wasn't a physical pain, really. It was just…conditioning, as sick as it made him feel to admit that. Any time he spoke his brain told him he was doing something very wrong.
Red Robin studied Sasha and Jason found himself beginning to feel defensive.
"You're a Dollotron?"
"No," Jason interjected.

I'm extremely intrigued by the villains win au and would love to learn even more about it. If it's not allowed (since someone already asked about it), Tim red hood - reverse Robin sounds fascinating
Of course you're allowed! ^_^ I don't have the plot sketched out enough to really give more info on the story, but have a snippet!
Jason was so out of it that Dick had to take most of his weight as they stumbled their way out of Black Mask's headquarters. They passed Roman's body on the way out and Dick wished that Jason was cognizant enough to remember it. He wanted him to see his torturer's corpse, wanted him to see the ocean of blood that had pooled beneath him, flowed from his throat as he'd choked on it, blood burbling up over his gruesomely exposed teeth. Dick wondered if he would ever mourn his own morality, later when he had that kind of privilege. He wondered if Bruce would have hated him, if he were still here.

RULES: post the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. Let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! and then tag as many people as you have WIPS.
Thanks for the tag @a-canceled-stamp for another tag! 💕💕💕
For this one, I’ll post a snippet from each of the WIPs in the last post. Asks are still welcome for more info. :)
- Tim red hood, reverse robins His—he’s—Jason’s talking about his photos. Of Batman and Robin. They were in his room when he died. Hidden in a compartment in his closet. “Alfred found them,” Jason explained. “He has a bunch framed, all over the Manor. Damian kept some—he keeps them in his apartment. There’s one on his damn fridge, Tim. He does miss you.”
- Renegade au "I also trained Red Hood when he was working with the League of Assassins." He didn't know where the sudden pettiness came from, but he couldn't help but add details. "I gave him his first gun. Taught him how to hold it, how to shoot. An FN 509 compact tactical. He liked the size and weight—he hadn't hit his growth spurt yet, his hands were still so small—" "That's enough." It took a minute for Batman to compose himself. Renegade felt a rogue flare of satisfaction.
- all birds have talons 2 - edited: He'd killed those two men right in front of her. He'd killed them, and that poor, broken little girl looked back up at him with stars in her eyes. Sasha had stood there with someone else's blood splattered on her hospital gown and looked at a remorseless murderer like he'd hung the moon. And she hadn't stopped following him around since.
- villains win au Dick found him in Roman's office. He was—he was in a dog crate. A large one, but Jason was big. There was no room for him to fully sit up or stretch his legs, so he lay curled on his side. There was no lock on the cage and—that meant that something was very wrong.
- homeless Tim That winter had scared him so bad he'd stayed home for a full six months after. It was the longest Tim had been home since he'd turned twelve. He'd paid for it, but it was better than dying in the cold. But it, inevitably, didn't last. It took his dad breaking his arm to have him climbing out his window this time. As soon as it had healed enough that he didn't technically...probably need it in a cast anymore, he'd sawed it off on his own and found himself right back across the bridge to Gotham proper.
- blurred blue bleeding But the pain was a cleanse. He understood, after. It was a necessary evil. He'd grown up away from the Court, where he never should have, and it had sullied him. It made him too soft, tangled him up with too many people. Relationships outside of the Court were a weakness, a liability. The pain had cleansed his mind and soul of all of that. He felt like a weight had been lifted, like he could think clearly for the first time. So now he obeyed because he wanted to. Because the Court was all he had, all he needed. And if he disobeyed he would be decommissioned, and he didn't want to be rejected by his family. He wanted to be useful to his masters. He couldn't disappoint them. So when they sent him after Jason Todd, he just nodded and picked up his blades.
- mazes in our minds He was startled awake again by the jarring sensation of something touching him. Hands burning against his cold, paper thin skin, and he bucked away from them, flailing wildly again for the walls, for his safe corner. But it wasn't there and the hands came back again following him but he was too weak to fight, muscles atrophied from lack of use. He tried to scramble away but his arms and legs wouldn't take his weight and he rolled uselessly against that terrible, soft ground. There were sounds assaulting his ears—frantic voices. Jumbled words swimming around his head, but they didn't mean anything, words hadn't meant anything to him in a long time.
- bar hopping Jun slid his arm closer to where Tim's was resting on the bar so that their forearms were almost brushing. An invitation for contact, but not a violation of boundaries. Tim could easily move away if he wasn't comfortable. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to," Jun said simply. Tim pressed his lips together. Then he shifted and his arm was pressed against Jun's. His raw nerves chafed at the contact, but he forced himself to breathe through it and the warmth of Jun's skin slowly began to overtake that feeling. He hadn't really known the other boy long enough for this kind of intimate contact yet, but he was surprised to find that it didn't feel... uncomfortable. The power of tequila. And vodka. And whatever was in that shot Jason had pushed into his hands earlier.

This is coming in late but for the ask game? I'm curious about the "homeless Tim" one 👀
The basic premise of that one is that Tim never became Robin because his dad is abusive and he spends most of his time between 13 - 17 as a runaway. He goes back home intermittently when he's desperate and runs away again whenever his dad gets too bad.
It starts with Tim jumping in to help Jason in an alleyway scuffle during one of his runaway stints. (I haven't decided yet if Jason died in this AU or not, so he's either Red Hood or Red Robin here.) Jason can tell that Tim is in a bad situation and tries to convince him to let him help but Tim gets defensive. Jason asks around the streets later to get more of Tim's story from the locals, and he and Tim "run into" each other here and there (read: Jason being a stalker).
During all this there's a gang war brewing between two of the Rogue's gangs (haven't decided exactly which ones yet), and Tim and Jason end up getting tangled up in things.
It's basically a "Tim enters the Batfamily early late" story.
It's still really rough, but here's a snippet:
There was something off about the kid. His accent, for one. It was Gotham for sure, but it wasn't Crime Alley. It was almost like he was purposefully smudging it to cover up a more posh one. He was certainly skinny enough to be your run-of-the-mill street kid, and his clothes were a little worn, a little dirty, but they were good quality, better than a lot of the families in this part of Gotham could usually afford. He could have stolen them, but Jason's gut said otherwise.
He would bet the pie Alfred promised to make him tonight that the kid was from Bristol. A runaway.
"What's your name, kid?"
"Alvin," he answered smoothly. He was a good liar. If Jason hadn't already expected the kid to bullshit his way through this interrogation-in-disguise he wouldn't have suspected the lie.
"Where you stayin', Alvin?"
He shrugged. "Around."
"You get that cut looked at?"
He reached self-consciously to touch the large gash on his head. "It's fine."
From the looks of it, it should have had stitches. It must have bled like crazy and it was going to take much longer to heal this way.
"How'd you get it?"
The kid hummed. "You're welcome for the save, but I have places to be, if you'll excuse me?" Alvin didn't wait for an answer before he turned curtly on his heel.
"Wait!" Jason darted forward and put a hand on the kid's shoulder. Alvin flinched and whipped back around with a glare and Jason pulled his hand back and held it up. "Sorry, I shouldn't have touched you. Will you just listen to me for a sec'?"
Alvin crossed his arms. "Whatever you're going to say, I've heard it before."
"Look, I get it, okay? I used to be out here, too, y'know? I'm just sayin', if you're trying to get away from someone—"
"You don't know anything," Alvin said with a surprising ferocity that had Jason taking a step back.
"You're right," he conceded. "I don't know anything about you. I'm sorry. But I do know what it's like to be hungry, so at least let me buy you a burger or somethin'? As a thank you for saving my ass?"
Alvin was still glaring, but Jason could see him swallow. He'd never forget how much it had sucked to starve. He would have jumped at the offer.
He had jumped at the offer. And somehow it had ended with him in a goddamn leotard jumping off of roofs.
"Fine. But no more soft interrogations, I'm not an idiot."
Jason grinned. Smart kid. "Bat Burger?"

blurred blue bleeding? 👀
I'd completely forgotten about this one until I flipped through my WIPs for this, apparently it's 9k words already?? It'll probably need to be rewritten before I ever post it. Basic premise is Talon Dick has been completely stockholmed by the Court of Owls. Not your typical scared little brainwashed Talon, more of a Red Hood type of situation. He gets captured rescued by the fam and they try to un-stockholm him.
***
Dick was different now, but he was still himself. Talon wasn't a secondary entity in his mind. His old self wasn’t locked away in a closet in his head, banging his fists against the door in futility. There was no split personality. Dick was Dick and he was also Talon. Like he’d been Robin. Like he’d been Nightwing. Like he'd been Batman.
He hadn’t lost any of himself, his loyalties just lay elsewhere now. And that meant when the Court sent him after a target, he eliminated it without question. This was his purpose, it was what he was always meant for. For generations his family had trained their children to be great acrobats, conditioned their bodies to be perfect Talons when the Court called them.
Talon was what Dick was made to be.
