Hello everyone. My name is Laisley. I'm from Germany and started my writing journey here at the end of 2022. I used a different blog account back then but after having a huge writer's block and a big change in my life, I decided a new blog was necessary. So, here we are with "Laisley's Writing Blog". I'm excited to meet new (and "old") mutuals.

I love writing fantasy, a little bit of romance and dystopian themes (sometimes stuff gets a bit darker than intended though - I enjoy writing angsty scenes).

From time to time, I will repost some of my "old" stuff, but new writing projects are definitely coming. This intro post is still under construction, so I will add a link to my masterlist once I post some of my own writing.

every day is just i want to finish my novel but also i have so many books i want to read but also i want to go to grad school but also i have so many video games to play but also i should learn a new language but also what if i made a youtube channel but also wait maybe start streaming on twitch but also what if i got back into writing fanfiction but also i should learn to crochet but also i want to spend time with my friends but also there’s so much television to watch but also i should travel more but also

being "a creative" is a literal curse because i have too many ideas and i want to write them all at the same time. but my adhd also causes hyperfixations and procrastination and suddenly reorganizing my entire bookshelf at 3 a.m. feels more urgent than the 5 WIPs collecting dust, and i end up not writing anything at all.
