Ayyy! Thanks a bunch! And thanks to the community for sorting this out because by god- the way that game relayed information wasn’t exactly optimal, to say the least-

Also, might be a hot take but- Luis gets the fame of being invasive, which yeah, he can be, but he’s not as bad some people make him out to be.

Anyways, I’m skimming them right now and I have to wonder how much of Luis perspectives of Vanessa is actually applicable to her and not just him (or myself lol) projecting, specially the more personal and intimate things.

I mean, he sees Glitchtrap’s shenanigans as a cry for help on her part, which yeah, incorrect on his part but also-

We don’t have a lot of concrete information on who Vanessa is as a person since a lot of her content was scrapped, so maybe that’s why I’m inclined to believe that what Luis wrote down here is not too different from what she was emotionally dealing with before the whole Glitchtrap infection.

But this might just be me me trying to tie her character up a bit more after they brutally butchered my girl’s screen time twice (trice?), something I’ll never forgive them for

Time to ramble once more about Vanessa and the FNAF movie!

I’m kinda curious to see what other aspects of her character she shares with game Vanessa, aside from the obvious.

-While talking about her abusive father, Game!Vanessa also mentions her fear and dislike of dark basements, which does make me think that they might use that in the movies to show the Sister Location (unlikely af? Yes, but we did see baby’s prototype so who knows)

-We’ve talked about Game!Vanessa having rainbow streaks on her hair, but no one has mentioned her glittery pink journal. Fingers crossed that if we get some flashbacks of Movie!Vanessa’s childhood/teenage years, we see both (I just think it would be neat)

-You cannot convince me that both of these girls have ‘friends’ outside of the animatronics. Maybe they are in good terms with a coworker or two, like Game!Vanessa and Luis, but actual living breathing friends? Nuh huh

-On that note, Game!Vanessa apparently has once ordered chocolates for herself and pretended they were from her made up boyfriend. Girlie wants to have someone in her life and wants to appear as stable and normal as possible. Another reason for Movie!Vanessa getting so attached to Abby and Mike so quickly, she probably feels the same loneliness.

-Back to topic of childhood trauma, wouldn’t be surprised if, should Mrs. Afton be mentioned in the next movie, that her fate would’ve been the same as Game!Vanessa’s mom, who had her daughter turned against her during a brutal divorce and ended up offing herself.

-Game!Vanessa somewhat enjoys cooking, and I hope that Movie!Vanessa does too because Mike doesn’t seems like a good chef (you’re seriously telling me that Abby, a child, would rather eat leftover soup than the grilled cheese her brother made for her? Just how badly did he fuck the sandwich up?)

-Game!Vanessa seems to suffer from severe anxiety and depression. Idk but this makes the scene where Movie!Vanessa yeets Mike’s meds into the river kinda funny, since I’m assuming she suffers from those things as well and maybe takes meds

-Alternatively, she realizes that she probably should take meds after spending some time with the Schmidts and attending therapy

-Btw can we maybe see some therapy sessions like we saw with Game!Vanessa on those CDs next movie or maybe novelisation? They all need it but, you know- (I’ll leave that as a suggestion for a Movie!Vanessa fic)

Assuming that we are seeing Henry in the second Fnaf movie, and that he is indeed Mike’s dad (I hope he is)-

How likely it is that William’s journal is going to be mentioned? You know, the journal where he wrote about Henry and how much he loved Henry and how much he hated Henry-

I’m just saying that homoerotism is an important part of their characters (and it would make the whole Shmelly thing 100% funnier) (“Ah shit, my dad wanted to pound your dad” “Vanessa what the actual fuck.”)

Check this Webcomic from latin America on Tapas!

It’s a shame that language barrier is a thing.

Here’s an ongoing webcomic that many of you won’t read because it’s in (Brazilian) Portuguese, and it’s a shame because-

For starters, it’s just absolutely gorgeous- even if you can’t understand what is being said, it’s worth checking out simply because of that.

Not to mention that-

Everyone, even the side characters, are simply gorgeous. I mean- look at that pink drag queen that is actually one of the several ‘grim reapers’ of this world!

The story takes place in this fantastical world where spirits greatly affect the lives of it inhabitants, humans and not. Valentim is what they would call a ‘Ceifeiro’, or a Grim Reaper, specifically the Grim Reaper of Nightmares (there are many different kinds all related to different fears of mortals).

He ends up getting trialed for a crime he didn’t commit, and ends up having to ‘fix up this mess’ in the mortal world with his boyfriend work colleague.

And I don’t recommend this just because the author is a friend of mine. No, I’m recommending this because she’s genuinely talented and genuinely going under the radar.

(Although I would appreciate if you guys, should you go check the story out, leave a comment of something like ‘I came from tumblr!’ or smth like that)

I would like to add that, during the climax of the movie when Abby shows the kids that drawing, the one that tells them Peepaw killed them, she includes all of them, even Garret, whom she never seen before.

She doesn’t include, however, the GF kid.

(Or maybe she did and I didn’t see him lol, in that case ignore my point and I’ll see myself to my oftalmologista)

Honestly Vanessa finding an old foxy mask among her old belongings would make me lose it (in a positive way) because I want her to be the movie's version of foxybro so bad... 😭

I'm brainrotting rn because I'm pondering too much about Abby's drawing at the end of the movie since "Cassidy" is not on it...

I feel like it’s more likely they’re gonna do the Vanny mask in parallel to the Foxy mask (the Vanny mask being a symbol of Vanessa under William/Glitchtrap’s control while the Foxy mask being a symbol of Michael’s connection to William aka murder). I do pray that they bring in the Bite of 83’ for Vanessa’s backstory tho. I would love to see Vanessa take the place of Michael/Foxybro and don the Vanny mask as she shoves her brother’s head into Fredbear’s mouth. Vanessa has such strong older sibling energy and yknow how much I love me a survivor’s guilt Afton.

It bothers me to no end how GF kid is given so much more focus than the other kids but also left out in a sort of way. And in the games, Cassidy is defined as “The One You Should Not Have Killed”, once again defining the GF kid as being special in some kind of way or died more brutally or differently than the others did. But something tells me that they didn’t intend for that to be the case because he’s lured to the back the same as all the other kids in the 8-Bit minigame and doesn’t have any special death like being the bite victim or something 😭😭😭 BUT THE BITE IS SO ICONIC TO FNAF— GRAUGGHHGGHHHH I just like the idea of GF kid being spiteful specifically because he’s Willliam’s son. It’s also makes the fact that we never see GF kid or even Golden Freddy in Vanessa’s vicinity super heartbreaking if they were siblings (cause I believe in the movie novel, Vanessa points out specifically the blonde ghost boy so she knows he’s there somewhere)

Nicholas [The Captain of the Knight Division]

He was born during the Middle Ages and quickly became one of The Matriarch's favorite "sons".

Nicholas and his knights scan the forest looking for sacrifices to pacify The Matriarch. Most of them being travelers and campers, though sometimes they're dragged back from the surrounding residential areas.

It's ugly work, but it's better than having her realize how vast the world has grown. She still believes it is as it was during the Middle Ages, and Nicholas has done so well to convince her of such.

He's grown fond of the world beyond the forest, even has a wife and children, and wants to protect that for however long he can. Despite it all, he's never tried to kill The Matriarch, even when he had the chance.

Whether that's from fear or familial love is anyone's guess.
