That's my husband - Ch7:
Monday morning and no alarm sounds to wake the dead was what Chara looked forward to every week. Papyrus still rose early to jog, shower, wake the kids, and make breakfast. Chara still took the horde to school except Papyrus woke her instead of the annoying buzzer from the clock. However, this morning he started with waking his woman with a kiss on the back of her neck and then her shoulder feeling challenged after Sunday's failed advance. Chara squirmed against him as she began coming to and rolled over to wrap her arms around him. He gave her a sweet kiss which she returned and rolled him over her. As if on cue, a knock echoed from the bedroom door and a scruffy little voice called, "Momma, Papa! We're ready for breakfast!"
"NO ONE'S HERE BY THOSE NAMES!" Papyrus answered receiving a light chastising smack on his arm from Chara.
"Go jog. I'll throw some pasteries in the oven and scramble some eggs. I can do that much," she fussed playfully. Her husband just laughed and kissed her before standing up to stretch. "Good morning, Kabel," Chara exited and pat her troublemaker on the top of his head. "How about I make you kids some cinnamon rolls, scrambled eggs, and cut some fruit?"
"Did we do something bad?" he asked following her heels down the stairs.
"No, not at all. Why do you ask, my love?"
"Then why are you punishing us with breakfast?"
"KABEL SKELETON, APOLOGIZE TO YOUR MOTHER," Papyrus scolded him leaving the bedroom to go for a run. "I EAT HER COOKING TOO, AND YOU DON'T HEAR ME COMPLAIN."
Chara inhaled slowly and pinched the bridge of her nose. 'That... that's my husband alright...' she thought to herself knowing he didn't mean it how it came off.
"Sorry, Momma..." Kabel obeyed.
"It's alright, sweetie. Just be careful about things you say to others. Think first and ask yourself if it would make you feel bad hearing someone else saying it to you. A lot of times, the answer is correct, but not always. What's funny to one person might be hurtful to another. Everyone is different, my love." After breakfast, Papyrus rode with them so he and Chara could run some errands while out. "Pap, you know you could have stayed home and rested. I know you're tired," she made conversation.
"NONSENSE! I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, WILL NEVER TIRE WHEN THERE'S WORK TO BE DONE! BESIDES, I LIKE BEING THE PASSENGER FOR ONCE," he joked.
Chara just smiled, rolled her eyes, and shook her head. 'That is also my husband...' she mused.
"WHERE ARE WE GOING AGAIN??"
"Well, we need groceries for one. I just used the last of the eggs and milk. I thought we might pick you up a new pair of work shoes since yours are starting to break down, the car needs an oil change, and I need to make a payment on your business loan. I also thought we could grab lunch before picking up trouble and minion."
"CAN'T YOU JUST MAIL THE PAYMENT IN OR PAY IT ONLINE??"
"Nope! Processing fees are worse than the gas burned to bring in cash when it's right next to the shopping center where we'll be anyway."
"AND THAT IS WHY YOU HANDLE THE BUDGET. I WOULD JUST PAY THE FEES TO AVOID THE DRIVE TO TOWN."
"We don't have a safety net in the bank by paying excess fees and spending frivolously, Pap. Those extra fees versus gas spent is only a couple hundred a year but it adds up when applied to everything. A couple hundred here and there adds up quick."
"TRUE, BUT TIME IS A MORE PRECIOUS RESOURCE THAN MONEY AND I CAN ALWAYS MAKE MORE MONEY. WE AREN'T MAKING ANYMORE- WHAT??"
"Are you really about to say 'time'? To the person who was given a way to manipulate time by Gaster?" Papyrus grinned and shrugged.
The first order of business for Chara was the oil change where they were stranded at the shop for an unpredictable amount of time. As she handed the guy behind the counter the key for the transaction, Papyrus told him in jest, "DON'T FORGET TO TOP OFF THE BLINKER FLUID, ALRIGHT. NYEH HEH!"
"Funny, sir... I see what you did there..." the guy replied unamused tagging the key.
'Oh dear stars, that is my husband!' Chara screamed internally and palmed her face in a vain attempt to hide herself cringing at his joke. After receiving the key back, their next stop would be to drop off the payment and spend an hour or so in the store as he went through every pair of shoes available to find the absolute best fitting pair. She had given up rushing him a long time ago. After finally deciding on the perfecg pair, they headed to the grocery store which took half the time getting through with Papyrus because he knew exactly what he needed and where to find it. Chara was the one who liked to browse and take her time deciding which new snacks to try and trying to remember which foods the children randomly decided they suddenly liked or didn't like.
"I'M GOING TO GRAB ALL THE PRODUCE WE NEED WHILE YOU LOOK. SEND ME THAT PART OF THE LIST AND I'LL GRAB IT AND THE MEATS. THIS WAY WE CAN GO HOME AND HAVE LUNCH BEFORE PICKING UP THE KIDS," he offered. Chara agreed and sent him a text with part of her list.
Once everything was loaded in the cart, they stood in line to check out and pay. "Ooh! Someone likes eating healthy! It's not often I see a cart with so much whole food!" the cashier exclaimed in a bubbly voice.
"WE TRY AT LEAST. BUT IT'S HARD TO GET ONE OF MY FOUR TO EAT GREEN STUFF AND IT'S NOT THE ONE YOU THINK," Papyrus cut up with the lady in a hyperbolic manner and pointed to his wife.
"Papyrus!" Chara chastised. "I am not a child so don't lump me in with them."
"Oh! This is your husband?? I would have bet money on you being a child if you hadn't said something! You look so young and adorable!" the cashier kept up her appearance.
"Um, thanks? Yes, that's my husband and he thinks he's a comedian like his brother. Pap, pay the bill and let's go. We don't want to hold the nice lady up."
"DON'T BE SALTY, LOVE. YOU MIGHT JERKY THE MEAT BEFORE WE GET HOME," Papyrus chuckled at his own joke. Chara gave him an indignant side eye taking the receipt from the lady.
"Thank you, miss. Have a good evening," Chara turned to her politely to speak before taking the cart. "Papyrus. Must you?" she hissed exiting the store.
"I WAS ONLY TEASING, DEAR. YOU GET SO TOUCHY OVER BEING THOUGHT OF AS A CHILD SOMETIMES," the tall monster scratched his crown as he put the bags in the trunk.
"Pap, we've been over this so many times. I'm not a child. I'm your wife and people mistake me for your child so damn often if I'm not dressed to the nines. It's frustrating only being seen as an adult through your validation if I'm with you because no one takes me seriously..."
"JOIN THE CLUB, HONEY. NO ONE TOOK ME SERIOUSLY AS AN ADULT UNTIL I BECAME A FATHER. I GET IT. IT SUCKS BEING SEEN AS A PERPETUAL CHILD JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE DIFFERENT. BUT, I THOUGHT YOU WOULD BE MORE ADULT THAN TO BE SO UPSET OVER A SMALL TEASE THAT MIGHT HAVE MADE SOMEONE ELSE'S LIKELY AWFUL DAY A LITTLE BETTER."
"Grr! How dare you make sense to me and appeal to my empathy." Payrus kissed her cheek climbing into the passenger side and took her free hand. She knew he was right especially about others taking him seriously as an adult. People often mistook his jovial and whimsical nature as childish and innocent, but Papyrus knew all too well the harsh and ugly truths of reality. He simply chose to not let it affect him much. He was an optimistic soul with his own little dark side only Chara was privy to. 'Yep... that's my husband for sure...' she reminded herself as they left for home.
Later that evening after homework, dinner, and nightly baths, Papyrus finished his day catching up on his favorite shows. Two tiny munchkins sat in his lap watching with him while Serif studied in his room with headphones on. Chara leaned on him half asleep from boredom. His detective dramas were not her favorite but she didn't fuss since he didn't always have time to watch them. "Papa!" Sylfae grew restless and began squirming under her blanket.
"YES, PUMPKIN?" he indulged her.
"I wanna play before bedtime! Can we build a fort?!"
"Yeah, Papa! Can we?!" Kabel joined in.
"FIND SOMETHING STURDY, GRAB ALL OF YOUR PILLOWS, AND YOUR BLANKETS," he told them.
"You are actually going to have them drag their bedding down here to set up a mess for me to clean tomorrow?" Chara gave him an unamused scowl.
"I'LL CLEAN IT UP AFTER WE PUT THEM TO BED, I PROMISE. THEY WON'T BE TINY FOREVER, DEAR." She agreed reluctantly and watched as he daughter dragged her dollhouse downstairs to make a wall. Papyrus tossed a large blanket over the back of their couch and the dollhouse to make the cover and another on top to make the back wall. Kabel stuffed the inside full of their pillows and extra blankets. It was then that Papyrus dove inside and barricaded himself in. "I, KING PAPYRUS, HAVE DECLARED THIS MY CASTLE FORT! NYEH HEHEH!!"
"Attack!!" both young ones shouted jumping through the gap where his eye sockets peeked from behind a single pillow knocking him and the blankets down.
"It's too dark!" Sylfae cried.
"YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE KNOCKED IT DOWN, YOU LITTLE GOBLINS!"
"Papa, I'm stuck!!" Kabel exclaimed.
"AS LONG AS YOU'RE BREATHING YOU'RE FINE, SON." He then pulled the blankets off of them and bundled them up. "WELL, NOW THAT IT'S DESTROYED, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?"
"Let's rebuild it! Then, you can read us a story under the roof," Sylfae giggled with excitement.
"YOU TWO KNOCKED IT DOWN SO YOU CAN REBUILD IT. THEN, YOU CAN DECIDE ON WHICH BOOK - WHICH ONE BOOK. IT'S ALMOST BEDTIME." The two rushed to their rooms to grab a book and argued which one was the lucky pick. "NOPE! NO QUARRELS! BRING THEM TO MOMMA AND SHE'LL DECIDE." Chara smiled at him as she draped herself over the back of the sofa.
"Kabel, this is your reading assignment for school. Nice try, but we'll go with minion's pick tonight even though it's a little above your level. This was Serif's book once right?" Chara chose. Papyrus nodded in confirmation and took the novel.
"Rats! Caught again," Kabel sighed.
"What is all the noise??" Serif asked exiting his room for a snack.
"Papa is going to read us a story in the fort we built," Sylfae answered peeking out.
"Which story?" She held up the cover to the small window to show him. "Sweet! I love that one!" Serif joined them in the spacious area making it cramped as Papyrus started reading.
"WHEN I LEFT MY OFFICE THAT BEAUTIFUL SPRING DAY..." As he read the first couple of chapters, the little two dozed off soundly atop their nest of pillows and blankets. Once little snores and steady breathing could be heard, their papa marked the page and carefully removed the top sheets that served as the roof and back wall. He gently cradled his daughter and motioned for Serif to pick up his brother so they could put them in bed. "GOODNIGHT, LITTLE PUMPKIN. I LOVE YOU," he whispered kissing her forehead and tucking her in. Chara was tucking in Kabel when Papyrus entered to tell him goodnight as well. "GOODNIGHT, YOU LITTLE TROUBLEMAKER. JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER AND UNCLE ASRIEL... I LOVE YOU," he spoke softly and brushed the wild wavy strand out of his face.
"We weren't that bad..." Chara pouted.
"WE DIDN'T CALL YOU BOTH THE TROUBLE TWINS FOR NOTHING," he muttered on exit to tell his oldest goodnight. "GOODNIGHT, STINKY! I LOVE YOU TOO!" he spoke to Serif not so quietly and put him in a headlock reminiscent of how Undyne used to do.
"Dad! Come on! I'm almost big enough to take you, ya know!" Serif protested.
"OH YEAH?! YOU DARE CHALLENGE ME! I'VE BEEN FIGHTING YOU SINCE YOU WERE A LITTLE POMEGRANATE IN YOUR MOM'S BELLY! I KNOW ALL OF YOUR MOVES!"
"Alright! Fight me!" Serif laughed as he took out his dad's footing sending both of them to the floor. "You might be bigger, but I'm squirrely!"
As the two wrestled trying to pin the other, Chara warned them, "You better not wake the others up! I'm not staying up with them if you do! Serif, you can stay up since you're so full of energy."
"Not now, Momma! I've got Dad in a full nelson and Imma 'bout to make him tap. Unless he wants to keep wearing me like a backpack!"
"UNFORTUNATELY FOR YOU, I'M FLEXIBLE," Papyrus reminded him as he slipped out and picked Serif up wrapping him around his neck vertebrae in a backbreaker power mover.
"Gah! Dad! No fair! I can't get a grip on you because you're all bones."
"NYEH HEHEHEHEH!! Papyrus laughed all the way to Serif's room where he dumped him on his bed. "GOODNIGHT, STINKER. SLEEP WELL." He petted his son's head, but Serif stood up and wrapped his arms around him.
"Goodnight, Dad. I love you."
"I LOVE YOU TOO, SON. I LOVE YOU KIDS VERY MUCH."
Chara wore a smile that touched her eyes watching them interact. 'Now that... that's my husband,' she said to herself when Serif threw his arms around her and picked her up.
"Love you, Mom," he said hugging her.
"Oh! Serif! I love you too, sweetie, now put me down," she laughed. "I get it. You're taller than me, geeze." She kissed his temple and left for bed with Papyrus in tow.
"THREE KIDS... WHAT WERE WE THINKING?" he mused climbing into bed. "SERIF WAS A SURPRISE, KABEL WAS NOT EXPECTED STILL, AND WE PLANNED SYLFY. DON'T GET ME WRONG, I LOVE ALL THREE AND WOULD MURDER SOMEONE OVER THEM WITHOUT HESITATION BUT WHAT THE HELL WERE WE THINKING?"
"Do I really have to answer that for you?" Chara arched a brow at him opening her book to read a little before bed. "Why? Do you regret having them??"
"OF COURSE NOT, BUT BETWEEN THREE CRUMB GOBLINS, YOU, AND WORK, I'M EXHAUSTED."
"All the more motivation to hire more help."
"FAIR. READ TO ME? I STILL LIKE IT WHEN YOU READ YOUR STORIES." He curled up and laid his skull in her lap and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Of course, my love." She started where she left off the night before reading the first passage again. As his breathing steadied, she couldn't help but think to herself, 'That's my husband, the father of my children, and the love of my life. He's such a dork.' She grinned leaning down to kiss his cheek bone and worm her way into the blankets for sleep. Feeling her shift, Papyrus squeezed her tighter and buried his face into her neck without ever waking up.
End ❤️🧡🤍🧡❤️

Announcing our love - Ch6:
Sundays, Papyrus went in a little later and closed a little earlier with his biggest spike being late breakfast and early lunch. Instead of five, he rose at seven to open half past eight. He sat up and saw his little human bundled under the sheets wearing a sleepy grin as she slept right through the alarm. He smiled and kissed her neck to stir her. "Noooo, Pap..." Chara groaned in a foggy voice. "Three's 'nough..." She shooed him away lazily with her hand crossed over her body not even bothering to roll over to face him.
"ARE WE TALKING GLASSES OF WINE OR TRICYCLE MOTORS?"
"Both..."
"NYEH HEH! I LOVE YOU. COME ON, DEAR, WE NEED TO LET THE KIDS KNOW WE WILL BE LEAVING THEM WITH THEIR AUNT FRISK AND UNCLE SANS SO THEY CAN THROW THEIR FITS NOW AND BE DONE WITH IT."
"Don't you put that on me today, Papyrus. You get to leave while I'm stuck with them!"
"THE SOONER THE BETTER, DEAREST. DON'T WORRY, I'M NOT LEAVING UNTIL I KNOW THEY WON'T CAUSE YOU GRIEF." Chara groaned and dressed for the day while Papyrus started his routine.
The three were already piled on the couch in their pajamas watching television and shoveling sugar laden cereal into their cheeks. "Kids..." Chara beckoned their attention and turned off the show followed with a chorus of groans. "Shush! This will only take as long as you make it. Kids, your father and I have something to talk with you about."
"Oh no! They're getting divorced!!" Kabel cried and threw his hands to his face dramatically.
"What?! No! And, where did you learn that word anyway??"
"Our friend at school said their mom and dad were doing it, and she said she will only see her daddy on the weekends..." Sylfae told them.
"WE'RE NOT GETTING A DIVORCE. YOU CHILDREN ARE DRAMATIC LIKE YOUR MOTHER. ACTUALLY, WE'RE DOING THE OPPOSITE OF A DIVORCE!"
"You're... getting married??" Serif asked with a scrunched face feeling very confused.
"We're renewing our wedding vows for our anniversary, yes. Which means you three will have a role to play in it. Papa and Momma love each other very much and aren't interested by any means in leading separate lives. Also, we do have some news you're not going to like to follow the wedding. Papa and I will be gone for a week, a full seven days, on a honeymoon... just us... without you three..."
"You're leaving us behind?!" Kabel asked in distress.
"But, we always go on trips together..." Sylfae teared up. "You don't want us to come?"
"Both of you, stop," Serif cut in bopping them on the head with one of their stuffed animals to get their attention. "Mom and Dad will be doing boring grown-up stuff on their trip. Stuff you won't be interested in. That's what a honeymoon is. They don't want to hear us groan for a week about how bored we are while they take care of things."
Chara smiled adoringly at her oldest who frequently translated what they were trying to say in terms the younger ones would understand. "What kind of stuffs?" Kabel asked not quite convinced.
"I don't know, I've never been!"
"WE'LL BE TAKING CARE OF PAPA'S WORK STUFF, TAXES, LEGAL PAPERWORK, SCHEDULING, MAYBE EVEN RUN ERRANDS WITHOUT HAVING TO STOP EVERY FIVE MINUTES FOR ONE OF YOU TO PEE," Papyrus helped his son out picking up on where this was going.
"Booooo!!" Sylfae and Kabel shouted at the same time. "Why even go??" Sylfae asked.
"Because adults sometimes have things to do that aren't always fun but are necessary. That's part of being a responsible adult. Thank you, stinker. We appreciate the backup," Chara kissed all three of them and joined them in front of the tv.
"QUICK THINKING, SON. GOOD JOB," Papyrus roughed his hair and kissed all of them before heading out the door for work. Thanks to Serif, the talk went smoother than planned. They loved all of their kids, but they were grateful for Serif and how he was with his siblings.

Note - I just realized none of my italics copied over... so if it reads like there should be emphasis, there probably was... sigh.
Are we a couple now? - Ch5:
A couple weeks had passed along with the stomach virus and things returned to normal. Chara's admission to how she had been feeling lately reminded Papyrus that he was once extremely doting and extremely affectionate to which things had simmered down over the years between three beautiful children, his career, and adult responsibilities needing their attention. Papyrus decided, he needed to shift focus a little back to his woman who made all of it possible to begin with. It was her idea initially to secretly evaluate his kitchen performance over months to surprise him with his certifications that now hung in the lobby of his business framed with his favorite shirt stained with many meals that he refined over the years. She, with the help of Frisk, Asriel, and Toriel, set him on the path to being an official master chef. She gave him three babies, unconditional love and adoration, kept him going when he felt like giving up, and was always there to steer him when he felt he lost his way. She called him her rock except she was his shelter, and it was time he reminded her of that.
Their fifteen year wedding anniversary was approaching and Papyrus began scheming something special. "SERIF," he called his oldest one morning before school.
"What's up, Dad?" Serif answered his call.
"THIS SATURDAY, I'M TAKING THE EVENING OFF AND LEAVING EL IN CHARGE. I'M TAKING YOUR MOTHER OUT ON A DATE WITHOUT YOU KIDS. I WANT YOU TO BABYSIT. OKAY, STINKER?"
"Whoah! You haven't went out without us in a long time!"
"I KNOW. THAT'S WHY YOU'RE GOING TO SIT. I'LL MAKE SURE TO LEAVE ENOUGH FOR PIZZA UNLESS YOU WANT TO MAKE SOMETHING. I TRUST YOU WITH THE OVEN MORE THAN YOUR MOTHER."
"Pizza sounds great. So, do I get paid for the favor too?" Serif have his dad a cheesy smile.
"YOU CAN SKIP YOUR CHORES AND I'LL LET YOU RENT A COUPLE OF MOVIES."
"Fine. I'll take it." Papyrus pat him on the head like usual ruffling his fixed hair. "Dad! Just because you don't have any doesn't mean it's okay to ruin mine..."
"EXCUSE YOU, CHILD."
"He's right, Pap," Chara defended her boy. "He works hard to look nice for school and you mess his nice hair up. Then, I have to hear about it all the way to school."
"I WILL MESS UP THIS BOY'S HAIR PLAYING WITH HIM ALL I WANT BECAUSE HE'S MY SON AND I LIKE TO PICK AT HIM WHEN I CAN."
"Alright, but be prepared for retaliation. He's getting older, love, and has a bigger arsenal of comebacks than when he was a pup. Now, grab trouble and minion and let's go before all three of you are late. Have a good day, Pap. I'll see you when you come home."
"DEAR, I'M GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT I TOLD STINKER. BE READY SATURDAY EVENING. I'M TAKING OFF EARLY AND WE'RE GOING OUT. JUST US," Papyrus emphasized.
"You're taking me out on a date-date?? A real date?! Hot damn! Alright! What time do I need to be ready by? What about the kiddos?"
"I'm going to babysit for pizza and chore exemption!" Serif told her with excitement. Chara hugged her boy in gratitude, kissed her husband goodbye, and ushered them to her car for school.
Papyrus had a plan and it involved an expensive rock he had been secretly saving for, a dinner reservation at her uncle MT's restaurant, and a bottle of his favorite wine. This was all just a small part of a bigger plan for their anniversary and he hoped the surprise would take her breath away like he used to do. Feeling pleased with his mate's reaction, Papyrus headed to work with a smile the whole way.
Once Saturday came, Chara made sure she was ready wearing a new red dress Mettaton had suggested. At first, she protested saying she couldn't pull off something so revealing at her age, but once she modeled it for her uncle as proof she fell in love with it. It had a much lower neckline than what she wore even at her wedding but it fit like a glove and was still modest despite the dipped sweetheart neckline. It wrapped around the shoulders, stopped mid-thigh, and was covered in fine lace.
"Darling, you look fabulous!" Mettaton exclaimed. "Keep the dress. It's going to knock him out of his shoes or my name isn't Uncle Ton-Ton! And, if it doesn't knock him out, I might." Chara laughed and playfully shoved him. However, he wasn't wrong. Papyrus quickly found he was the one left breathless when she casually stepped down wearing that simple yet elegant dress with matching heels, and blood-red lips in a shade that fit her beautifully.
"I'm ready whenever you're ready," she smiled mischievously at him as he rubber-necked up the stairs to grab his clothes for a shower. He hadn't said a word, but he didn't need to. The look on his face told her everything.
"Wow! Momma's pretty tonight!" Sylfae giggled.
"Mom's pretty everyday, sissy," Serif chastised her a little.
"Momma's extra pretty today!" she explained.
"It's okay, sweetie, I know what she means. Thank you both, though. Makes me feel good that my kids think I look nice even if I'm a mess," Chara explained giving all three dark red lipstick marks on their cheeks before going over rules and safety. Papyrus was ready by the time she was through and escorted her out the door wearing a suit he hadn't donned in ages.
"YOU LOOK STUNNING IN THAT DRESS... IF I DIDN'T SAY THAT EARLIER..." he told her sheepishly.
"You didn't say a thing when you walked in. You ogled and choked on air trying not to trip over your jaw going up those stairs," she smirked back.
"HOW DARE YOU NOT BE ABLE TO HEAR ALL THE THOUGHTS GOING THROUGH MY SKULL! THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! AND I THOUGHT THEM AS LOUD AS I COULD TOO!" Chara laughed and jostled him with her elbow as he drove.
They had their usual meal in the private lounge away from everyone. Papyrus stuck with one glass of wine since he was driving while his wife had three which was two more than she needed since she abstained most of the time. Every conversation they had led right back to their kids at first until they were able reconnect on a more intimate level. "It is so hard to believe we have gone this long without a genuine date. When did our lives get so crazy? We still went out occasionally with Serif and even after Kabel we did things together. It's like Sylfae came along and suddenly things were too much."
"SOME OF IT HAS TO DO WITH BUSINESS PICKING UP A GREAT DEAL AT THE RESTAURANT. IT WASN'T AS POPULAR AS IT IS NOW. WHICH IS WHY I'M ABLE TO HIRE MORE HELP. AND... HOW I'LL BE ABLE TO START HAVING MORE TIME WITH YOU AND THE KIDS." Chara smiled wide with her doe eyes sparkling in the soft lighting. It made his soul skip once again as he sipped the same glass of wine. "CHARA, SIXTEEN YEARS AGO I ASKED YOU TO MARRY ME. DO YOU REMEMBER THAT NIGHT?"
"Oh heaven's mercy, how could I ever forget, Pap?!" Chara guffawed as her cheeks turned rouge. "Oh wait... that was the other timeline wasn't it?? One timeline I ran out afraid you would hate me because I knew I couldn't hide the truth anymore and the other was you putting the ring into a dessert that I almost choked on. Which one are we living? Gosh, I can't believe Gaster fucked up our first timeline so bad we had to literally go back in time..."
"I WISH I COULD REMEMBER BOTH. THE FIRST ONE SOUNDS LIKE AN ENDEARING MOMENT WHERE I ALMOST KILLED YOU IN THIS ONE..." Papyrus turned a little orange and sipped his water next.
"Don't be ridiculous! I'm the child that death refuses. I'm not going until it's on my terms again, heehee!! Anyway, what brought that up, dear?"
"I WAS JUST THINKING OF HOW I MESSED THAT UP SO BAD, IN BOTH TIMELINES APPARENTLY, THAT I WANT TO MAKE IT UP TO YOU." Without another word, the tall skeleton monster stood and moved to her side of the table to kneel.
"Wh-What are you doing?" Chara asked with wide uneasy eyes as if they hadn't been together for over a decade.
"WHAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE ORIGINALLY," he answered taking both of her hands in his. "CHARA, I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ANYTHING. OUR ANNIVERSARY IS COMING UP IN THE NEAR FUTURE AND FOR THAT I WANT TO CELEBRATE IN A SPECIAL WAY, BUT IN ORDER TO PREPARE I HAVE TO START HERE. CHARA SKELETON, LOVE OF MY LIFE, MY ONE AND ONLY, MOTHER OF MY CHILDREN, MY PUZZLE BUDDY, MY BEST FRIEND, WOULD YOU MARRY ME AGAIN? A THIRD TIME TECHNICALLY?" Papyrus revealed a princess cut chocolate diamond ring set in rose gold to match her wedding set. Her wedding ring was a chocolate heart with alternating pink and white diamonds on the outline. This ring had the pink and white diamonds set in the band on the sides of the center piece.
"Holy fucking shit, Papyrus! We don't have the money-"
"YES WE DO. I MAY HAVE TWEAKED THE CHECKBOOK BALANCE A LITTLE OVER THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS TO SAVE FOR IT. I KNEW MONEY WOULD BE YOUR FIRST CONCERN. HONEY, YOU DO EVERYTHING FOR ME AND THE KIDS, YOU MAKE SURE WE ALL HAVE AND YOU PUT YOURSELF LAST THESE DAYS. SADLY, I'VE BEEN GUILTY OF IT RECENTLY TOO AND THAT'S NOT ME. I'VE ALWAYS TRIED TO PUT YOU FIRST BUT THE KIDS COME FIRST AND WE BOTH UNDERSTAND THAT. TONIGHT, YOU COME FIRST. THIS IS PART OF YOUR PRESENT. PROPOSING PROPERLY AND RENEWING OUR VOWS IS THE ANOTHER PART. YOU GET TO HAVE THE WEDDING YOU WANT INSTEAD OF THE POLITICAL STATEMENT THE EMBASSY MADE IT INTO THE FIRST TIME."
"Pap... I don't care how many times you ask, how you ask, where you ask, or what you ask with, my answer will always be yes." She cupped his face softly and kissed him eagerly. His arms immediately wrapped around her small frame still holding the box. "This time it will be just closest friends and family. I know it will still be bigger than it should be, but at least it won't be the whole damn city crammed into the ballroom at Mom and Dad's."
"WHATEVER YOU WANT, SWEETHEART. I'LL MAKE IT HAPPEN."
"So..." Chara grinned mischievously, "does this mean we're a couple again or...?"
"CHARA, LOVE, YOU'RE TIPSY. THIS GLASS IS YOUR LAST ONE. HERE, PUT THIS ON SO I KNOW IT FITS."
"This one will go on the other side. I'm not moving my wedding set my baby picked out for me."
"HONEY, I DIDN'T-"
"Shhh. Let me pretend you didn't consult with Uncle MT this once... I love you, Pap..."
"I LOVE YOU, BABY. WELL, I'M EXCITED. BECAUSE THE REST OF YOUR ANNIVERSARY PRESENT IS THE HONEYMOON. YES I PLANNED A HONEYMOON TOO BEFORE YOU SAY A THING. THE CABIN WAS NICE, BUT WE'RE GOING ON A CRUISE THIS TIME. A WHOLE WEEK, NO KIDS, NO KIDS - DON'T LOOK AT ME LIKE THAT. THEY GET EVERYTHING. THIS IS FOR ME AS WELL AND I WANT SOME LONG OVERDUE, QUALITY ALONE TIME WITH MY WIFE." Chara glared at him but she couldn't help agreeing that they needed this.
"Who's going to keep them?"
"WELL, THEY'VE HAD THEIR SHOTS AND ARE HOUSE BROKEN, SO ANY BOARDING KENNEL WILL TAKE THEM-"
"Papyrus!! You ass! Stop that!" Chara busted out in laughter which caused him to join her cracking himself up. "That joke is so old! They're not animals, Papyrus."
"I BEG TO DIFFER! I'VE SEEN THEM EAT! THEY SHOULD BE EATING OUT OF A DOG BOWL."
"Papyrus!" Chara playfully scolded him and smacked him with her cloth napkin.
"Well, it sounds like you two lovelies are having fun," Mettaton came in to check on them. "How was everything?"
"Hey, Uncle Ton-Ton! Everything was perfect as always. Thank you for letting us have the private venue," Chara greeted him with a hug.
"Anytime as long as it's not booked prior, you know that. Are you going to have a dessert as usual, darling, or has the wine and frosted chocolát been enough?" he winked.
"You knew!! You knew why I wanted a new dress! You two dirty, scheming men!"
"Of course I knew, darling! Papy runs every fashionable decision by me first. I thought you knew that by now? Plus, I have connections. Why pay more if you don't have to? I respect that as a fellow businessman and as a consumer. But my-my, that does look gorgeous on your delicate little hand. He actually did pick it out himself this time though. I simply pointed him to the right place and person. So, did she say yes, Papy?"
"Of course I did! He's my husband for goodness sake!"
"Well, dear, to be fair you might have hit him with divorce papers. I've seen it plenty of times..."
"OVER MY DUSTED DEAD BODY..." Papyrus mumbled into his glass of wine finishing it. "WHAT??" he asked as both of them stared in disbelief at his unfiltered comment.
"Papyrus, if I wanted to leave then I would have taken the kids and split years ago," Chara answered.
"THEY WOULDN'T FIND YOUR BODY, MY LOVE..."
"He's so dramatic sometimes, darling. How do you put up with it? Hee!" Mettaton joked.
"YEAH... DRAMATIC... HEHEH..." Papyrus gave a half-hearted laughed and chugged his water. "ANYWAY, WE TOLD SERIF WE WOULD BE HOME IN TIME TO PUT TROUBLE AND MINION TO BED. SHALL WE, MY NEW FIANCÉ?"
"Pfft! You're so silly, Pap." Chara moved to stand, but Papyrus swept her up like old times and carried her to the car. Now this was reminiscent of the man she married.

True Love - Ch4:
Another late night and Chara was already asleep with Kabel in their bed this time.   Papyrus entered to find a plate for him in the fridge, but he was so exhausted that he just wanted water and a shower.  On his way to the bathroom with a change of clothes and a towel he wondered why the hell Serif had a bathroom in his room but he didn't.  Then, he decided that would be their next project.  Speaking of the oldest, by the time Papyrus reached the bottom of the stairs, out walked a half asleep Serif.  "WHAT ARE YOU DOING AWAKE AT THIS HOUR, SON?" he asked with concern.
"I heard you come in and wanted to say goodnight..." Serif yawned.
"NYEH HEH!  GOODNIGHT, MY BOY.  I LOVE YOU, STINKER."  He wrapped his free arm around his oldest who was gaining height on him.
As Serif was sauntering back to his room, he turned back with a grimace that reminded Papyrus way too much of Chara and said, "Hey, Dad...  I don't... feel so great..."
"WELL, SON, YOUR ORDER WAS FOR THREE DOUBLE STACKED HAMBURGERS WITH TOPPINGS, A BASKET OF ONION RINGS, A SIDE OF BROCCOLI CHEDDAR SOUP, AND A SLICE OF MUD PIE WITH EXTRA WHIPPED CREAM AND YOU UNDOUBTEDLY ATE ALL OF IT PLUS WHAT YOUR BROTHER AND SISTER LEFT BEHIND.  I'D SAY YOU-"
"Oh shit!" Serif shouted darting into the bathroom closest to him to throw up.
"I SWEAR IF ONE CATCHES IT THE OTHERS HAVE TO CATCH IT.  HOLD ON, SON.  I'LL BE RIGHT BACK..."  Papa Papyrus was on it with the thermometer, medicine, and a mint-ginger tea because Serif always preferred tea when sick thanks to his aunt Frisk which the other two didn't grow up living with.  "YEP, IT'S A FEVER.  YOU CAUGHT WHATEVER BUG IS GOING AROUND.  I'M SORRY, SON.  IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN GET YOU?"
"No, Dad, I think I'm gonna crawl back to my bathroom so you can shower..."
"HAHA!  YOU CAN STAY IN HERE.  I'LL JUST STEAL YOUR BATHROOM A MOMENT.  I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE YOU IN THE FLOOR THOUGH."
"Sorry about the language earlier..." Serif apologized through a thick voice one had when sick.
"I'M NOT WORRIED ABOUT THAT.  I'M WORRIED ABOUT YOU THREE KIDS," Papyrus sat in the side of the tub rubbing Serif's messy waved hair.  Suddenly he sat back up and hit the toilet again.
"Dad?..."
"YES, SON?" Papyrus answered ferfeiting his glass of water so his boy could wash the taste out along with his wash cloth to wipe his face.
"Thanks...  Dad, why couldn't we take after you?...  I hate being sick..."
"LUCK OF THE GENE DRAW, I SUPPOSE.  ARE YOU GOING TO BE ALRIGHT WHILE I WASH WORK OFF OF ME?"
"Yeah...  I'm not my siblings.  I have more wit than that to come knock if something's wrong."
"I'M MORE CONCERNED ABOUT YOU PASSING OUT AND NOT BEING ABLE TO COME GET ONE OF US."
"What is all the noise about down here??" Chara asked coming around the corner from the living room.  "Pap??  Is everything...  Oh no, not you now?!"
"HEY, HONEY.  YEAH, THE STINKY ONE IS NEXT.  CARE TO SIT HERE A MOMENT?  I NEED TO SHOWER," Papyrus greeted her.
"Have you already given him medicine and everything?"
"YES, I JUST DON'T WANT TO LEAVE HIM WHILE HE'S THROWING UP."  Chara felt Serif's forehead to find it was burning hot, sighed, and gave her husband a parting kiss before taking his seat.
"Mom, I'm really okay by myself if you want to go back to bed," Serif groaned.
"I know you are, love.  But, we don't want to leave you alone.  You're still my baby even if you look down at me now.  You'll always be my boy and we'll always want to take care of you.  There will be a time we won't be able to be there and you'll have to do this on your own.  Now is not that time, my love," Chara soothed him best she could handing him his tea to sip.  "Your dad forgot the crackers.  Though... as much as you ate, you might not need them..."
"Mom?... Can you make me broth instead?"
"Of course, love.  I'll be right back."  Once Serif was tucked back in with a bucket by his bed, Chara told him, "Don't try to climb the stairs.  Call my phone and I'll come to you, okay?  I know you're big and think you can do things on your own, and many things you can, but I don't like leaving you alone when you're sick.  Don't sleep on your back either."  Serif nodded and tried to lay down to sleep.  Papyrus kissed his temple after Chara and they headed back upstairs.  Passing the bathroom, Chara stalled.
"ARE YOU ALRIGHT, DEAR?" her husband asked with concern for her this time.
"Actually... Pap... I haven't felt great today...  I don't- Oh shit!" she exclaimed in the same fashion as her son and hit the toilet.
"WELL," Papyrus scoffed, "THERE ARE LESS RUDE WAYS FOR YOU BOTH TO SAY YOU DIDN'T LIKE MY COOKING THAN TO TOSS IT."
"Shut... the hell up... Papyrus..." Chara struggled to joke back with her head in the porcelain.  "Paaap..." she whined tossing the rest of her stomach's contents.
Kneeling down, he felt her forehead to find she was also feverish.  "WOWIE!  YOU'RE HOT, AND NOT IN THE USUAL WAY I MEAN IT.  I'M GOING TO SKIP WORK TOMORROW AND TAKE CARE OF YOU BOTH."
"No... don't... don't worry 'bout me...  I'm fine, I can take care of myself and Serif..."
"NO YOU CANNOT.  LOVE, I KNOW YOU'RE STRONG BUT YOU HAVE ALSO COME DOWN WITH THIS BUG.  BESIDES," he leaned in rubbing her back, "YOU'RE MORE IMPORTANT THAN THAT."
"What about work though?...  They need you..."
"ELODIE CAN HANDLE A DAY BY HERSELF.  THE KITCHEN WILL BE FINE ONE DAY.  I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORK.  I WOULDN'T HAVE HESITATED TO STAY HOME WITH SYLF OR KABEL EITHER, BUT I KNOW I CAN RELY ON YOU TO TAKE THAT RESPONSIBILITY SO I CAN FOCUS ON MAKING MONEY.  YOU NEED HELP NOW AND THAT'S WHAT I'M HERE FOR.  WE'RE A TEAM HERE AT HOME FIRST, THEN WORK.  REMEMBER?" Payrus assured his wife.
"It's been so long since I've actually needed takin' care of...  I forgot what it was like..."
"EXCUSE YOU.  I TAKE CARE OF YOU ALL THE TIME!"
"I know, Pap.  I was just teasing...  I don't feel well and was trying to take my mind off it."
"OH, I'M SORRY, DEAR.  YOU HANG TIGHT AND I'LL GET YOU MEDICINE, A TOWEL, A WET CLOTH, AND A GINGER-ALE."
"Thank you - I love you..."
"I LOVE YOU, MY DEAR, WITH ALL MY SOUL.  JUST REMEMBER THAT WHEN THINGS ARE ROCKY WITH THE BUSINESS AND WE'RE NOT TOGETHER AS MUCH."  He returned shortly with the promised items and pulled her shoulder length auburn hair out of her face.
"Papa?..." a small voice called from the doorway.  Sylfae had woken up hearing the commotion.
"YES, MINION?" he replied scooping her up to put her back to bed except he decided to put her with Kabel so he wasn't alone if he awoke.  He stepped into the bedroom to see his child had managed to stretch himself across half of the king sized bed.  "WONDERFUL..." he sighed.  "AT LEAST HE'S ASLEEP..."
"Is Momma okay?  Is her tummy bad too?"
"YES, PUMPKIN, MOMMA ISN'T FEELING WELL AND PAPA IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF HER AND BUBBY.  THEY'RE BOTH ILL TONIGHT WITH THE BUG."
"Is-Is it my fault Momma and bubby are sick?" Sylfae asked tearing up while Papyrus covered her with her blankets.
"SHH... NO, PUMPKIN, NOT AT ALL.  EVERYONE JUST GETS SICK SOMETIMES, EVEN MOMMA," he reassured her.
"You're never sick..."
"MONSTERS DON'T CATCH HUMAN AILMENTS.  WE CAN HAVE DAYS WE DON'T FEEL WELL BUT HUMAN GERMS AND BACTERIA DON'T AFFECT US.  YOU KIDS AREN'T LUCKY IN THAT TO WHICH I AM SORRY.  NOW, LIE DOWN AND SLEEP.  YOU'RE GOING TO SCHOOL TOMORROW WHETHER YOU'RE TIRED OR NOT.  TWO DAYS IS PLENTY TO RECOVER."
"Yes, Papa.  I love you..."
"I LOVE YOU TOO, PUMPKIN.  GOODNIGHT."
"I love you more..."
"I LOVE YOU MORE, AND WE BOTH KNOW I CAN COUNT HIGHER.  SO, CLOSE THOSE PRETTY AMBER-RED EYES AND SLEEP."  Papyrus kissed her cheek and received one in turn before she rolled over and snuggled her favorite stuffed dinosaur that used to be Serif's.  After tucking both little ones in and feeling Kabel's forehead, he then ran back downstairs to check on Serif who was still battling the nausea while cradling the bucket.
"Dad?" Serif cried pitifully from the can.  "Dad, I don't feel good, I feel like crap, I want it to stop," he sobbed like small child as if he were his siblings' age again.  Hearing the distress in his son's voice broke Papyrus's heart.
"I KNOW, SON.  I'M SORRY.  I'M GOING TO BE HERE TONIGHT AND TOMORROW, ALRIGHT?  IT'S JUST A TWENTY-FOUR HOUR BUG.  IT WILL PASS, I PROMISE," he comforted the boy wrapping his boned arms gently around his shoulders and petting his crown.  Taking the bucket from him to set aside, Papyrus held his oldest while he cried a moment from just feeling awful.  "HEY, IT'S ALRIGHT.  I DON'T MIND YOU CRYING ON ME IN THE LEAST, BUT IT'S JUST GOING TO UPSET YOUR STOMACH EVEN MORE.  I'M SURE YOU FEEL BAD ENOUGH, SO TRY TO CALM DOWN, OKAY?  CAN YOU DO THAT FOR ME?"  Serif nodded and wiped his eyes on his sleeve but returned to hugging his dad.
"I'm sorry, I'm not used to being sick..."
"I KNOW.  YOU WERE THE HEALTHY ONE OF THE THREE.  BUT, DON'T BE SORRY AT ALL.  EVERYONE IS SICK SOMETIMES; IT'S A PART OF LIFE.  AND, I'M RIGHT HERE, HOWEVER, I DO NEED TO MAKE SURE MOMMA ISN'T DROWING IN THE TOILET."  Serif let him go in exchange for a clean trash can.  Papyrus returned to the bathroom to find Chara curled up on the floor like the children do when they're sick, too afraid to stray from the best receptacle for purging.  No one wanted to deal with the mess of being sick and flushing it away was the easiest clean up.  "WHAT CAN I DO, LOVE?" he asked sitting on the tub wall to pat her.
"Kill me...  please..." Chara groaned.
"NOPE, TRY AGAIN."
"Use some magic to rub my back...  That always feels nice..."
"THAT I CAN DO."  Tentative husband Papyrus lowered himself to the floor and gently massaged her back with a touch of his healing magic.  Had the magic been the kind that would help a virus, he would have cured all of his household.  Unfortunately, his healing was only good for physical damage such as broken bones and cuts or burns.  He did use this trick on all of them to calm them down or bring some kind of comfort.
"How is Serif?"
"DOING ABOUT AS WELL AS YOU, DEAR.  I JUST CHECKED ON HIM AND KABEL AFTER PUTTING MINION BACK TO BED."
"Thank you, Pap...  I can always count on you...  No matter what, even if things aren't going the best... even if I'm feeling like we're drifting apart, you always come back to remind me how much you truly love me and the kids...  I'm sorry I expect so much sometimes..." she started crying too.
"I'M SORRY THINGS HAVEN'T BEEN AS ROMANTIC OR EXCITING AS THEY USED TO BE...  I KNOW I HAVE BEEN SLACKING-"
"No!  No, you are wonderful, Pap.  I'm just still childish when it comes to your attention.  I know you're just trying to provide while also being happy with how you do it.  I understand... I just... miss you sometimes... when it's ten at night and your side of the bed is cold...  I know I can't have you here and working to make a living for us...  I wouldn't mind working to share the burden..."
"I DON'T WANT YOU TO WORK!  YOU TAKE A LOT OF BURDEN OFF BY BEING HERE FOR THE KIDS!  PLUS, THE FIRST TIME ANYONE WAS CROSS WITH YOU OR TALKED TO YOU THEY WAY THEY DO YOUR SISTER, I WOULD GO TO PRISON.  HONEY, I DON'T THINK YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH I MISS YOU AND THE KIDS.  I WOULD LOVE NOTHING MORE THAN TO BE HOME EVERY NIGHT BY EIGHT, BUT IT'S JUST NOT POSSIBLE TO PAY FOR EVERYTHING AND NOT PROPERLY MANAGE THE RESTAURANT.  I'M TRAINING ELODIE, BUT SHE'S NOT READY YET TO BE ON HER OWN MORE THAN A COUPLE OF DAYS AT A TIME.  IT WILL BE BETTER SOON, I PROMISE.  YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE YOU FOR STICKING BY ME EVEN WHEN YOU FEEL LEFT OUT.  IT'S NEVER MY INTENT TO MAKE YOU FEEL THAT WAY EITHER.  YOU'RE SUCH A GOOD WOMAN AND A GREAT PARTNER, AND I'M SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOU IN MY CORNER.  I'M TRYING, I SWEAR.  I LOVE YOU DEEPLY, CHARA.  YOU'RE MY BEST FRIEND, MY BETTER HALF, AND MY TRUE LOVE."
"Paaap... I lo-ugh... I love-"  Before she could finish her sentence, Chara hit the bowl with another bout of nausea.
"WELL, I'M SORRY MY DECLARATION OF TRUE LOVE MADE YOUR STOMACH TURN."
"Now is not... ugh... a good time for your smartass remarks..."
"SORRY, DEAR.  JUST TRYING TO BE LIGHTHEARTED TO HELP YOU FEEL BETTER.  BABY, I'M GOING TO MAKE MY BED ON THE COUCH SO I CAN HEAR YOU AND STINKER IF EITHER OF YOU NEED ME."
"Thank you... I love you... my best friend, my rock, my husband..."
"I LOVE YOU TOO.  TRY TO REST, LOVE."  It wasn't a lie.  Papyrus really did miss his family while working so much and would rather be home wrestling with his brood.  He truly preferred his lovely wife stay home and be comfortable while taking care of the other responsibilities.  But, he would also rather bust his proverbial ass at his own business, as his own boss, while doing what he loved than go back to working a mundane desk job sorting paperwork for someone else.  He loved working with his sister in law, but the politics he could do without.  He was much happier even if it meant sacrificing a little time now for more in the future because he didn't plan on going like this forever and looked forward to retiring earlier than he could if he were still with the Embassy.  His business had brought in more than enough to sustain them and provide luxuries, but only because he was so meticulously involved with it day in and day out for the six days it was open.  Papyrus had a plan for the long run and would eventually only be checking in a couple days a week or if they were short on occasion.  His passion was cooking, true.  And, he loved it, yes.  However, his true love was his family and being a husband and a father more than anything.

Jealousy - Ch 3:
Serif arrived home on the bus since Chara wasn't able to leave the house to pick him up. "There you are, son! How was school?" Chara greeted him.
"Hi, Mom! It was... school. How's Bubby?"
"He's finally asleep. The fever is under control and he may be out for a while. Would you mind being a big man for me and watching your siblings while I run Papa some lunch? I'm sure he hasn't eaten knowing him."
"Of course! Tell, Dad I want a piece of that mud pie with a big helping of the fresh whipped cream. Mmm..."
"Child, I will bring home dinner if you want. Save Dad from having to make it later and he can grab something from the kitchen... Alright, I love you. Keep an ear out for bubby, don't let minion be unsupervised on the tablet, and if anything happens call me. Call the emergency line first if it's bad enough." Serif leaned down to hug her being taller than her now at five foot, ten inches and growing. Out the door she went with a bag stuffed full of sandwhiches, banana chips, apples, and a plain yogurt cup for the big bonehead. Once Chara arrived at her husband's business, she noticed the dinner rush hadn't picked up yet. This excited her knowing he would take a minute to sit with her while he ate. She looked in her mirror and noticed she hadn't bothered to fix her hair and was still wearing her stretchy pants with one of Papyrus's old t-shirts. "Damn, I used to dress up before meeting him out anywhere... When did I stop caring? Oh yeah! After Kabel started walking! He was the hellion who stained everything I wore in some way! I love him. Still, I could have put on real pants... Wait! I might have a spare in the trunk."
Chara crawled across the back seat of her sedan and dug through a bag that had been sitting in the back full of packed clothes she had forgotten about after their most recent trip out of town. Inside she found a pair of jeans and a pair of heels she hadn't seen in two months. Quickly, the now self conscious housewife slipped off her yoga pants and traded for the jeans then strapped on the simple heels. Thinking fast, she tied the excess length of her shirt with a hair tie and ran some mousse from her purse through her hair to define the waves. She thought a moment if it would be inappropriate for her thirty-four self to show her midriff as short as she pulled the shirt. She wasn't in the shape she could be, unlike Frisk who worked out and ran a lot with Papyrus, but she wasn't unattractive either. Deciding "fuck it", she went with high waist pants and high rise on the shirt. She looked pretty damn good considering she pushed three babies out and having Papyrus as a chef of a husband.
On entering the double doors, she first noticed the new hostess and two of the other waitresses standing by the podium giggling and looking back in the direction of the kitchen. As she approached she heard one girl say, "You don't think much of him at first because he comes off as goofy and strange, but after working for him a while, you'll find he's actually fucking hot." This caused her ears to perk and she hung back at the seating to eavesdrop. She pulled out her phone to pretend she was interested in it instead.
"Really??" the young hostess questioned. "I mean, he is pretty cute for a monster I guess..."
"Just wait. He's such a flirt too. I'm still not sure if he realizes it," the third girl spoke.
"I don't care, I'd jump him if he would give me the time of day," the first girl whispered.
"Shh! He is married, girl! And, from what I hear, his wife is very pretty," the hostess scolded. "I hear they have three little kids too."
"I don't care. I mean, think about it. He's a skeleton monster." Chara arched her brow hearing her suspicions confirmed. They were indeed discussing her husband. "How could he possibly have kids? How would he even know if they were his given that much? Plus, people have affairs all the time." Chara's venomous side reared fast as she stomped down the urge to yank the girl by her hair and slam her to the ground. Instead, she approached the podium.
"Hi, welcome! How many will be dining tonight?" The hostess quickly turned her attention to Chara.
"Just two," Chara answered.
"That will be a fifteen minute wait. Is that okay?"
"Actually, my party is already here. By the way, I couldn't help but hear, so are you talking about the owner of this establishment by chance?"
The girls looked at each other pensively and the first waitress leaned in to whisper, "Yeah, it sounds insane doesn't it? And, looking at him at first he's forgettable but looks are very deceiving with that one. Why, do you know him?"
"You could say that. I do know for a fact all three of those children are his though."
"Oh my gosh, how??" While Chara smiled politely and nonchalantly at the girls, two of the waiters passing toward the kitchen eyed her from a distance as they entered.
"Holy shit, did you see her?" one waiter asked his coworker.
"Hell yeah, I did!" the second guy agreed. "Talk about a total cutie! I wonder who she's here with?"
"I dunno, but I'm going to see if she'll leave with me. Damn, son!" Curious as to what had the attention of his staff, Papyrus left the current job to his sou chef and peaked around the corner with them.
"WHAT ARE WE LOOKING AT??"
"Oh! Boss!! You scared the hell outta me!" the first waiter jumped.
"SORRY, WHAT'S GOING ON?" His eye sockets came to life seeing his lovely wife at the entrance.
"You see her too, don't you? Don't lie either, boss. I know you're married but ya still have eyes and she is definitely eye candy. Isn't she bangin'?"
"OH YES, FOR SURE..." he replied with an arched browbone realizing they were ogling his wife who had came in dolled up more than usual.
"Think one of us has a chance, Chef?" waiter number two questioned.
"NOT ON YOUR LIFE BOYS..." he answered and stepped out hanging his apron on the hook.
"Well, do you see your party anywhere?" the hostess asked Chara trying to keep the conversation somewhat professional.
"Yes. Yes I do," she replied as her amber eyes lit up in the soft lighting.
"HELLO, DEAREST!" Papyrus greeted her causing the three to exchange panicked looks.
"Hi, honey!" she smiled and took his hand. He escorted her to the back office out of the lobby eye.
"Oh shit, we are in so much trouble..." the second waitress gasped.
As they passed the kitchen, Papyrus arched his brownone again and smirked a little evil smirk. "Oh, shit, I think we're in trouble... Dude, we were totally perving on his wife... in front of him!" waiter one panicked
"No, not in front of him. Too him. He was part of the conversation in which we were perving on his wife... We're so screwed," number two agreed.
Behind the shut door, Papyrus gave her a big kiss and asked, "HOW IS LITTLE MAN DOING? HAS THE FEVER BROKE? SORRY I HAVE ONLY TEXT YOU. IT'S BEEN HECTIC TODAY. WHAT BRINGS YOU BY ANYWAY?"
"I brought you something to eat because I'm sure you're starving. Kabel was fast asleep when I left, but he's still feverish. Serif is watching him and Sylf for a bit while I sit with you. I won't be out long, I swear. I did promise the kids food from here though, and the stinker wants a piece of mud pie."
"I'LL PUT IT IN. THOUGH... BY THE WAY MY BOYS WERE TALKING, THEY MUST HAVE THOUGHT YOU WERE ON THE MENU."
"Do what??" she laughed.
"I CAUGHT TWO OF MY GUYS TAKING IN THE LOVELY VISAGE THAT YOU ARE AND HAD TO SHUT THAT SHIT DOWN REAL FAST." Papyrus kissed her neck briefly and tore into his loaded sandwich.
"Well, I was trying to catch an eye light... yours specifically..."
"DEAR, IF YOU HAD CAME IN WEARING YOUR STRETCHY PANTS, HOUSE SLIPPERS, YOUR HAIR THROWN BACK IN THAT STRANGE BUN YOU WOMEN MAKE, AND I DIDN'T HAVE SO MANY HERE, YOU WOULD BE ON MY MENU."
"Papyrus, shut your mouth!" Chara gasped as her naturally blushed cheeks lit up.
"WHAT?? WE HAVE THREE CURTAIN CLIMBERS FOR A REASON. I LOVE YOU, BUT I'M ALSO ATTRACTED TO YOU." He gave her a cheesy grin.
"Yeah, yeah..." Chara pursed her lips feeling flustered even after sixteen years together. "Wait! You were jealous! Papyrus, the most secure man I know besides Gaster, was actually jealous of someone besides Dean for once?!"
"I DIDN'T SAY THAT! I ONLY SAID I HAD TO UPSTAGE THEM."
"You had to show your dominance and claim your terroritory, you mean!"
"BABY, YOU DON'T COME IN OFTEN AND THE NEW RECRUITS DON'T ALL KNOW WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE. BESIDES, I LIKE YOUR FRIEND. I JUST LIKE HIM BETTER NOW THAT HE'S MARRIED WITH A FAMILY..."
"Mhm. Well, it would help if you had some photos. You have no pictures in here of me or the kids..." she took notice looking around. "And heavens, your office is a wreck?! What the hell, Pap!? You are also the most pristinely organized man I know! Why does your back office look so disheveled??"
"WHEN I WAS A SECRETARY, I WAS A SECRETARY AND DID MY JOB WITH EXCELLENCE. I'M NOT A SECRETARY ANYMORE AND NEED ONE MYSELF... I... DON'T HAVE TIME TO ORGANIZE IF I WANT TO GO HOME SOMETIME THAT SAME DAY," he admitted feeling embarrassed at the mess.
"Why didn't you say something? I can help you-"
"NO, NO! YOU DO SO MUCH AS IT IS. I WOULDN'T DARE ASK YOU TO TAKE THIS DISASTER ON. NO, I'M GOING TO HIRE A BOOKKEEPER WHO WILL BE PAID TO CLEAN THIS UP AND KEEP IT MAINTAINED. IT'S LONG OVERDUE."
"Well... I get to have some say in who you hire to spend those hours alone with you..." Chara muttered hopping on his desk to sit.
"WAIT, WHAT? I DON'T MIND IF YOU DO BUT WHY??"
"No reason really... just... want to start being involved a little..."
"OKAY, OUT WITH IT. WHO SAID SOMETHING AND WHAT DID THEY SAY THAT HAS YOU SO DEFENSIVE?"
"Nothing... I just heard some of your younger... *cough* than me- ahem!! - waitresses talking about how hot you are... that's all..."
"NYEH HEHEHEHEH!!! THAT'S FUNNY, LOVE! DON'T BE ABSURD, DEAR. I'M SURE YOU MISUNDERSTOOD."
"They said specifically a 'skeleton monster' and made a wild accusation that your kids aren't your kids..."
"I SEE. YOU'RE BEING JEALOUS AND INSECURE. WHO CARES WHAT ANYONE SAYS OR THINKS? WE KNOW THE TRUTH AND THAT'S THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS. I WILL HAVE A GROUP MEETING ABOUT BEING APPROPRIATE WHILE ON THE FLOOR AND GOSSIPING IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. THAT'S NOT OKAY. DON'T WORRY, I WON'T CALL ANYONE OUT, BUT NEXT TIME I CATCH IT THERE WILL BE REPRIMAND. AW, MY LITTLE WOMAN IS JEALOUS OVER ME FOR ONCE!"
"I'm not jealous... I simply don't like the idea that they think you're flirting..."
"I'M NOT. I DON'T FLIRT WITH ANYONE BUT YOU, MY DEAR."
"Not to hear those girls tell it... They specifically called you a flirt." Chara had by this point crossed her legs and arms feeling apprehensive. "Pap, you are so nice and sociable that you come off as flirtatious, okay. I don't say anything because I know it's just your personality, but... I don't like the idea that some young girl who works for you feels she might have a chance."
"CHARA, BABY, I LOVE YOU. I DON'T CARE ANYMORE ABOUT ANYONE IN HERE THAN I CARE ABOUT A STRANGER EXCEPT FOR EL BECAUSE SHE'S OUR FRIEND AND WE KNEW HER WHEN SHE WAS FIFTEEN AND NEEDED OUR HELP. I LOVE YOU, I WANT YOU, AND AT NIGHT I COME HOME TO YOU. THERE HAS NEVER BEEN ANOTHER AND THERE NEVER WILL BE. YOU'RE MINE."
Chara gave him the sheepish grin and kissed him right as the door opened. "Pap- oh, hey Chara!" Elodie entered. "Just wanted to say I'm off for the night. Do you need anything before I go?"
"Hey, El!" Chara greeted back.
"NO, YOU'RE GOOD TO LEAVE. I'LL SEE YOU TOMORROW. ON YOUR WAY OUT, MAKE SURE THOSE TROUBLE THREE ARE NOT HOVERING AT THE PODIUM, PLEASE." Elodie nodded and darted out the door.
"Hey!" waitress one called for her before she could reach the door.
"Yes, what do you need before I go?" Elodie answered feeling annoyed.
"Are they making out in there?" waitress two asked as she joined the huddle from behind a partition hanging over it.
Elodie went to answer and thought carefully before speaking. "Oh yes, definitely," she lied.
"Omg, really??"
"Yes, and it was heated too. They were so embarrassed, but not as much as they could have been. I mean, it was only me who walked in. I've known them for a few years, so it wasn't as bad as if one of you walked in. But don't get too hung up. Knowing the boss, that's as risque as it would get in his business especially during work hours. He's a very professional man, he just really loves his wife so he risked a little smooch time. Later, gals, and watch the gossip."
The three exchange more panicked glances after Elodie left. "I told you to stop fawning over him! He's happily married, so much so that he's in his office tongue wrestling all because she brought him a sandwhich."
"Well, why doesn't she come out every night with him food?"
"Three kids genius. She's probably doing other things that he's not there to help with. Now, stop before you get in serious trouble." Her coworker rolled her eyes and grabbed some menus to seat the customers walking in.
Papyrus walked his wife to the car with her order and parted with small peck. After waving, he hurried back to the kitchen to prep for the dinner rush.

Small note - Elodie is an OC from my second story and a main player in it. I just haven't worked on it in a long time...
Curses and Blessings - Ch 2:
Living on the Surface had its good and bad just like the Underground. Papyrus found society trying at times, but he was grateful for his little human and their three children. He was grateful to his sister in law for such an opportunity and for her unrelenting DETERMINATION to save them twice over. He loved his life, his career, his family, and all the opportunities afforded still. However, he realized he would have been just as happy back in Snowdin if he could still have his little family. He cared for people, his own kind and humans alike, yet he found some humans to be more tolerable than others, and the older he grew the less patience he had for nonsense. Whimsy, fun, and innocent jokes or pranks where not what he meant by 'nonsense' either. To put it bluntly, he didn't have time nor willpower to put up with bullshit anymore. Papyrus still believed in second chances, benefit of the doubt, and people having the potential to be better or do better, sure. It was simply that the man had found a threshold for his once unbridled patience.
Yes, life on the Surface had its curses as well as well as blessings. This thought hitched a ride in the back of his thoughts on his way to work which in and of itself was a blessing and a curse. Some days he felt more like a glorified babysitter than an entrepreneur or master chef and that included customers when necessary to deal with them.
Six in the morning wasn't terribly early for him specifically. Papyrus was used to waking up early, jogging, showering, and dressing for his role as Frisk's secretary until he was able to open his restaurant on the other side of town far from where MTT's sat. All of that went out the window the first month before he ever even served his first customer. His routine became more like wake up, run nonstop, drag himself home to either cook or eat whatever nice meal his wife could conjure, drag himself to the shower, and drag himself to bed. At least, until Monday rolled around giving him a day to rest and spend time with his family. Clising Monday was a promise he made Chara years ago when Kabel wasn't quite born yet. Six in the morning gave him a half hour to finish prep and help his bakers organize the baked goods before unlocking the doors. "ALRIGHT, PAPYRUS. TIME TO GET IN AND MAKE THIS ANOTHER AMAZING DAY. YOU WILL NOT FUSS AT THE NEW HIRES BECAUSE YOU'RE SLEEPY, YOU WILL NOT FUSS AT THE NEW HIRES BECAUSE YOU ARE SLEEPY, YOU WILL NOT FUSS THE NEW HIRES BECAUSE YOU ARE SLEEPY. THEY ARE STILL LEARNING AND VERY FRESH ON THE FLOOR. LET THE FLOOR MANAGER DO HER JOB. ELODIE IS CAPABLE AND A GREAT LEADER. DON'T HOVER OVER HER LIKE SHE'S STILL A CHILD. OKAY, IT'S GO TIME," Papyrus gave himself a little pep talk before entering his establishment. Even with its bad, Papyrus wouldn't trade a moment if it meant being anything other than a husband, a father, and a head chef of his own restaurant.
Meanwhile, Chara was giving herself a pep talk after making sure Serif had a way to school and quarantining her other two. "Sans! Thank you!" she greeted her brother in law as he pulled into the driveway.
"Hey, pal! How's the two little ones?" he greeted them rolling down his window.
"Kabel's fever is high, but Sylf is fine. I just don't want her going after being up all night sick. Frisk sent you instead because you can't catch it I bet."
"Oh yeah, ya think she wants that bug? I'll hafta go through Al's sterilization chamber before enterin' and leavin' work 'cause I could still be carryin' it. Ya sure ya wanna send this one? He could spread it. Meanin'... Luci and Cori will catch it. Meanin'... I can't protect ya from Frisk when she catches and feels better."
"If he was showing symptoms, I'd keep him home but I can't keep him out of school just because. Besides, the girls will probably have it soon enough and bring it home. It's been making rounds in school."
"Wonderful... Guess we better 'stock' up, eh?"
"Pfft! I would to be safe. Alright, son. Be good for your uncle and call me if you start feeling ill."
"Thanks for picking me up, Uncle Sans," Serif greeted him climbing in the passenger seat.
"You're welcome, kiddo. Just... try to stay away from your cousins and sanitize your hands," Sans advised leaving the driveway.
Chara went back inside not wanting to leave her five and six year old little ones alone for long. "Chara, you're not going to snap at your mini clone because you're sleepy, you are not going to snap at your mini clone because you're sleepy, you are not going to snap at her because you are sleepy. Kabel will need another dose of fever medicine in four hours, Sylf will be hungry in two, and I'll need to make sure that boy drinks something," Chara told herself.
"Momma, Bubby threw up on the stairs trying to get to the bathroom!" Sylfae called out the doorway.
"Fuck..." Chara exclaimed under her breath. "Thank you for telling me, my minion. Stay away from Bubby today, okay? I don't want you sick again." Her daughter agreed and went into her room that used to be her cousin Lucida's because it was pink and the girl liked pink over Corsiva's old purple room. Serif was the oldest therefore was privileged with Frisk's old bedroom with the built in bathroom Papyrus and Sans added on for her birthday one year. Chara's life, to her, was both a curse and blessing as well. She loved being a Mom and not needing to work, she loved that her husband was capable and loving, and she loved her friends and family, but in order for her to do all of the things she did and her family to have what they had, she had to sacrifice so much time with her husband. Many nights, he was home before midnight, but there had been plenty he didn't come shuffling in until two in the morning beat from running all over that restaurant. He had staff, he had a good name, and he took pride in his work as much as his family. It was just that sometimes, she felt he was more married to the restaurant than her. But, they had bills to pay and he already sacrificed one day of potential business to make her happy. How could she possibly put the pressure on him of choosing between his passion and his dream and his family when his business was supporting a comfortable life even with three children, one of which was a bottomless pit and could out eat both of them combined? No, she was a good wife and a fair partner so she would shoulder the downsides with the upsides. Afterall, the vow was for better or worse and she loved him deeply. "At least I have a puddle of half digested chicken nuggets, apple slices, and... when the hell did he get a hold of grapes?? The school doesn't serve them and we haven't bought any in weeks. Ugh! At least this and my minion will distract me for the day..." she thought aloud to herself grabbing the scrub brush and soap after checking on her sick boy laying in the bathroom floor.
"Momma..." Kabel groaned.
"Yes, love? Roll onto your side if you're going to steal the bathroom. I don't want you choking if you can't sit up in time. You'll suffocate. Here, try to sip on some ginger-ale and put some crackers on your stomach so you're not just hurling stomach acid," she told him setting a cold cup of soda and a sleeve of saltines in the floor.
"I'm not hungry..." he started tearing up. "I don't wanna be sick anymore."
"I know, baby boy, but you have to eat at least one cracker and sip this for me. The acid will hurt your throat if you don't." She sat on the side of the tub and petted his sweaty, rust colored hair. Yes, life for her was more good than bad and the bad wasn't even that bad considering what all she had been through, some her fault and some not. However, she wouldn't trade a second of it for anything else.

So, a couple of things first. This will be a short story, one chapter a day, that will incorporate the prompt. This is also a short based on my original story and its second part (still in progress) on AO3. If anything looks repetitive, that's why. I included enough detail from the original so it could stand alone. If Papyrus seems different than most picture him, that's also why. He's been on the Surface for quite some time and has been through a lot of shit and seen a lot of shit. Anyway, happy shipping and I hope you like it.
Hopes and Dreams - Ch 1:
It was five in the morning when Papyrus's alarm shouted at him to rise for the day.  He sat straight up and smacked the button to turn it off.  He shook his skull and rubbed his face as if he could rub the fog from his mind.  "Nnggg... mornin', love..." Chara groaned stirring from the abrasive noise.
"MORNIN'..." Papyrus grunted back and kissed his wife's temple before rolling out of bed to start his day.  "WHERE'S YOUR MINION?" he asked looking under the sheet to see the spot between them empty.
"She said she was feeling better and went downstairs to watch cartoons with her brother," Chara answered rolling over to sit up and go check on their kids.
"I'LL NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW SUCH A SMALL BEING CAN HOLD SO MUCH VILE FLUID."
"I don't wanna hear it, Pap.  You're not the one who held her hair out of her face all night and cleaned up the mess when she missed the toilet.  You're not the one who had to bathe her or scrub the vomit out of clothes and sheets.  You're not the one she threw up on this time either.  Shut it."
"I MAY NOT HAVE DEALT WITH MOST OF IT BUT I WAS UP ALL NIGHT CHECKING HER FEVER AND MAKING SURE SHE STAYED COOL WHILE YOU BOTH SLEPT, DEAR.  AND,  I STILL HAVE TO OPEN THE RESTAURANT WHILE YOU GET TO GO BACK TO SLEEP.  SO, YOU SHUT IT."
"Papyrus, I will change the locks while you're away."
"HA!  IT'S CUTE YOU THINK A LOCKED DOOR COULD STOP ME.  I LOVE YOU, MY DEAR."  He kissed her briefly before heading downstairs to fix the kids breakfast.
"Oooh, that man!  I love you too, you big bonehead..." Chara sighed dragging herself out of the bed to change the sheets again and dress.
Downstairs, their oldest child of fourteen sat with his baby sister in his lap watching television with his backpack ready for school.  "GOOD MORNING, STINKER," Papyrus ruffled his styled copper hair in passing to the open kitchen right of the staircase.
"Mornin', Dad..." Serif answered in a similar grunt that sounded just like his father's.
"GOOD MORNING, PUMPKIN.  HOW ARE YOU FEELING?" he asked his youngest of age five, Sylfae, feeling her forehead.
"I'm fine, Papa.  Serif made my tummy much better with jello and soda," she answered spritely without removing her eyes from the flashing screen.
"UH HUH... BROTHER MADE YOU FEEL BETTER...  RIGHT..."
"Jello and ginger-ale is the breakfast of recovering champions, Dad," Serif replied.  "And, I put medicine in the jello..." he whispered.
"I SEE.  YOU'RE JUST LIKE YOUR MOTHER, MY BOY.  WHERE IS TROUBLE?  KABEL SHOULD BE OUT HERE TOO."
"I woke him up but he hasn't left his room yet."
"I'll check on him, Pap.  You get food on the table and go or you'll be late opening for the breakfast menu," Chara urged him exiting their room and entering the one next door.  Papyrus smiled at her, his wife of fourteen years and partner for sixteen, the mother of their three children, and his only love.  She stood by him through so much including him pursuing his own business which hadn't been easy on either of them at first.  But, with some compromise and patience, they had a decent routine.  It had been an adjustment when their siblings and neices moved out into their own place also.  Chara had grown used to chasing two extra children running amuck, but she was grateful for the solitude of her own home.  This life was more than she could have hoped for and more than she dared to dream when she was still dead in the coffin.  Papyrus was a wonderful husband and a better father, but the majority of responsibility that would interfere with his sleep and work was put on her in exchange for being home all day along with taking care of the house and errands.  Not that Papyrus was lazy by no means, but he was serious about his restaurant and ran with his team instead of holding up in the office and barking orders which meant anywhere between twelve to sixteen hour days mostly on his tarsals sweating in the kitchen and checking on the floor in addition to cooking when he came home some nights.  He loved his woman with all his soul, but one thing everyone knew about Chara was her ability to set the kitchen on fire if it required more than tossing it on a pan and heating it up or boiling water and watching it.  Though it was exhausting and hard work, that had been his new dream all those years ago when he came to the Surface.  His hope now was to maintain enough steady income to provide a life for his family.  And, although her culinary skills were lacking, she made up for it by running the budget, taking care of sick little ones in the middle of the night, any running that needed done, and keeping up with all the things on a schedule such as appointments, events, and holidays.  Still, Papyrus couldn't help staying up with worry for his kids when they were sick which led to a poor night's rest if any.  He also wondered why she stayed by him all this time with as much time away spent on his business.  If you asked Chara, it was because he truly loved her, forgave her twice for everything she had done in a past life that had been erased, and he was genuinely good to her and the kids.  "Bad news, love!" Chara called from their middle child's doorway that had once been Sans and Frisk's room.  "Kabel is sick now!"
"WHAT'S WRONG?" he called back with mild concern.
"It's the same symptoms as Sylf - fever, chills, upset stomach, and vomiting.  He's so weak he didn't even get out of bed.  He threw up in his trash can and went back to sleep after Serif woke him.  I swear...  Are you going to be sick too?" she jokingly asked her oldest.
"I hope not, but it's inevitable.  You too, Mom.  You'll catch it just the same," Serif answered honestly.
"Is that a true prediction or are you just using logic?"
"I could use my powers to see for sure except logic works just fine in this situation."
"Well, I already started prepping to make sure your father has a big mess to clean anyway.  I've been eating lots of chocolate, eggs, spicy pickles, and barbecue.  Sounds gross until I say it's a barbecue burger with fried egg and spicy pickles with a chocolate shake."
"GREAT...  YOU NEED TO STOP EATING AT GRILLBY'S EVERYTIME YOU GO OUT WITH YOUR SISTER.  LET ME KNOW IF YOU START FEELING OFF AND I'LL LET MY FLOOR MANAGER HANDLE THINGS TODAY.  BREAKFAST IS READY, BUT I'LL HAVE TO EAT MINE ON THE GO OR I'LL REALLY BE LATE.  LOVE YOU, DEAR."  He kissed her goodbye, hugged the two on the couch, and peaked in on his sick one to check his fever before rushing out the door.  He felt bad leaving her, but staying home wouldn't pay the bills.
@papara-week forgot the tag. Omg.

Daw! Ty, Bis!! Though I haven't worked on it in ages. 😆 I appreciate the compliment. 🥰
Underfell Papara: Who said “I love you” first
I usually imagine them being friends when they were little, Papy protecting them as much as he can but he's not the strongest at all...
After they died, Papyrus never forgets but subdues the memory of his dear friend, always wondering how things would have turned out, if they'd survive...
With the Underground freed and Chara revived, they have to restart building what they had, simply with the difference, that they are grown up now and there are feelings neither of them could explain.
Frisk and Sans are actually the ones that nudge them into the right direction.
That's exactly why I loved @misty720 fanfics so much. <3

He finally came!! I had him pre-ordered back in March. March!! My shipment kept getting shoved back. Third time, I canceled and ordered with GameStop. Arrived in less than a week! I'm so happy that I can't even be upset. One more item I want and have to end the madness. 😅

I am obsessed and I will not apologize. Hubby will steal this one over my cold, dead corpse. He takes every blanket I get, but this one is mine, damnit.
Tumblr media
He's a knock off if I'm being honest, but I kinda don't care. All Funko's are made in China or Vietnam anyway and I'm just happy to have the little guy. ... And... I didn't have to pay $300-$600 for it bc that's dumb.

I bought myself a deck of cards! Just call my blog the house of skeletons bc I just love them so much. Idk why, I just do. Always have. I'm not into magic but these are clearly trick cards so maybe my hubby will practice with them.

Omg, it took me foreeeeever to finish this! I deleted it 3 times before I settled on how I wanted to do it. Anyway, chapter 4 art might be a while because I'm going to start on Papara week art and play around with my new drawing tablet I got and the Krita program I downloaded.

Monstrous little bastard you say?
Tumblr media
not to be boring but I like when evil characters.... well not become “redeemed,” more like they become domesticated. its just delightful when like an evil monstrous little bastard man goes from committing murder to getting mad someone misplaced their costco card or left the jar of mayo on the counter all day.

Found this guy at Walmart! As if I don't have enough junk on my desk... 🤨 But I couldn't just leave him there. That would have been rude. 😆
