At the Dream End 2 - New demo!

First of all, we'd like to apologize for the irregular updates lately. We've been working tirelessly to improve the gameplay as much as possible because, frankly, the previous version of the game had little to offer beyond its atmospheric appeal. We've also received feedback that the current version of the game looked extremely different from the first installment, 'At the Dream End 1,' and we completely agree. That's why, in the past month, we've decided to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to make 'ATDE 2' a true and worthy sequel. We believe we've found the solution, and we want to share a demo of the new 'ATDE 2' version with you today.

In this demo, players will once again step into the shoes of the wolf and explore mystical landscapes as they embark on a journey they believe will lead to the salvation of the planet. The gameplay in the new version will harken back much closer to the original 'ATDE 1,' while expanding significantly on the game world itself.

We hope you enjoy this new demo, and we eagerly anticipate your comments and feedback, which will help us create the best version of the game possible.

Hello everyone! Today, we're releasing a set of new screenshots, providing a sneak peek into the game's new enemies, a new costume for the main character, and the first boss fight.

Also, here is what you need to know about the new gameplay style. "At the Dream End 2" is currently in a transitional period, from a visual novel made in an RPGM MV to a story-driven survival horror game made in GameMaker, where you explore a space station trying to find out what truly happened after the "At the Dream End 1" events while trying to survive creatures made out of pure life energy called Midories. There is also a mystery of a Great Outherspace Deformation (G.O.D.) who is containing a creature beyond human comprehension. This creature is often called, by Angels, the First Maker.

Our next devlog will feature a gameplay video showcasing the new style of gameplay. And after that, a playable demo of "At the Dream End 2" will be released.

Hello, everyone! We have been gradually transitioning from the Visual Novel genre to the story-driven Survival Horror genre, as we believe this style of gameplay best complements the sci-fi horror story we are creating.

Firstly, we are thrilled to announce that we will be releasing a new trailer soon, showcasing the gameplay style we have been working on. This trailer will give you a glimpse into the intense atmosphere that awaits players in our game.

Furthermore, we are also preparing to release a new demo soon. This demo will provide a hands-on experience of the gameplay mechanics and allow you to explore a portion of the game's world.

"At the Dream End 2" switch to a new game engine!

Hello everyone! We have some exciting news to share about our game, "At the Dream End 2." We've decided to switch to a new game engine - Game Maker. The reason behind this move is that we want to add some new elements, such as free exploration of the space station and real-time combat, which we believe we can better implement using the Game Maker engine.

We have been working hard on the game, and although we're still in the early stages of development, we want to give you a sneak peek of what we have achieved so far. We have prepared a short video to demonstrate the exploration aspect of the game.

However, that's not all! We will be releasing a trailer very soon, where we will showcase the complete gameplay experience. The trailer will give you a comprehensive look at the game mechanics, and the intense real-time combat sequences. After that, we will release a DEMO made in this new engine with all of these new gameplay elements.

Moving to Game Maker has allowed us to bring our vision for "At the Dream End 2" to life in ways we couldn't have imagined before. We are confident that this engine will enable us to deliver an even more immersive and thrilling gaming experience.
