Idk about y'all, but sometimes I read scientific papers that relate to sneezing just for fun/out of curiosity. I ran across this one this morning:

This article recommends management of the photic sneeze reflex via "firm digital pressure applied by the patient’s index finger transversely to the skin of the sub-philtral region, directed posterosuperiorly onto the maxilla". Now, "transversely" means across or in a crosswise direction, the "sub-philtral region" refers to the philtrum, or the groove that runs vertically between your upper lip and septum, and to direct pressure "posterosuperiorly" means to push back and up.

This article is literally recommending that people manage their photic sneezing by pressing their finger up under their nose. Just... What in the cartoon snzfuckery is this? How is this real??
