I've been trying to finish the Infernal Weapon Bayonetta AU but it just keeps going and I'm gonna chew through the wall at this rate. I have too many in progress fics to make another one.

But also dammed if I'm not having a lot of fun fully crafting the world and lore in this one.

Bayonetta wakes up in a world that's left her behind, coughing and sputtering on cold liquid. It's thick and tastes vaguely of sulfur and something unfamiliarity sweet. She doesn't panic, not entirely, not fully, one hand clamping down on the side of the tank she pulls herself out of- The space where her other arm used to be is empty, metal and wire crawling along the edges of her shoulder and melding into muscle and scar tissue. "You're lucky," Rodin drawls, leaning against the counter nearby. His workshop somewhere in the depths of the Gates of Hell's back rooms. "They did such a number on you I was afraid I wouldn't be able to put you back together." She's covered in scars, can feel them pull taut across muscle as she rises up to her feet, dazed and a little annoyed. "I don't recall requesting that you put me back together," she replies, dryly. She can't even remember when it was he dug her out of the depths of inferno.

Underneath her Diomedes stamps his hoof, as if he senses her apprehension. Wrong. She knows something is wrong, can feel it in the inherent clattering sense of disorientation that settles like a haze around her.

She knows she's in the right place, knows that whatever creature had taken residence in this area outside of Ashborne was going to be a problem even for the most veteran of hunters.

Perhaps, even for her.

I TRY TO, but I'm often really bad about it and forget and then it's been a month. Or I'm right on top of it and I respond immediately, ADHD brain is a nightmare.

Oh shit uh…..lmao. A lot of them? But probably angtiest is "I Think I'm Slipping Away."

Any fic in my Edeleth Week 2019 collection? I don't write happy fics often….lmao.

8. Do you get hate on fics?

Not usually? I've gotten some vauge posty rudeish comments here and there but I just delete them or ignore them cuz I've got no time for anyone's negativity.

Yes. What Kind? The…smutty…kind?

I wrote one, a Bloodborne x FE3H one. Usually I do not, cuz they're difficult to manage.

I've had ideas and pieces of fics stolen off me, sure, but I've never had a whole fic stolen that I know of.

Yes! Into Japanese and another into German

Yes! With @ashtree11, we wrote several for Control and one for Genshin Impact. I love co-writing with friends cuz it's neat to see how our writing styles mesh!

Uh. Edeleth….Bayojeanne. Others. I can't just choose one.

I will finish all my WIPS.

Hmm, this….one is complicated? Like I'd say consult a native speaker if you know one? Or if you have a friend who can speak multiple languages ask them? I usually tend to just avoid it personally beyond a very few occasions.

In Darkness (The Mechanical God Dreams) WIP

Planetary Location - [Redacted] - Club Nostramus - 13:35

"I get the distinct impression the guard at the door wasn't happy to see me," Miranda says, voice pitched just loud enough to be heard over the thundering bass. Beside her Liara cringes, a sheepish smile flicking across her features. It vanishes as quickly as it appeared and the asari casts her a glance.

"Humans aren't exactly a welcome sight around here," Liara replies, pressing closer to her side as they navigate through the crowd. And it's true, she notes with a cursory glance; Asari, Turian, Salarian, Krogan and more than a few Batarians scattered about, several of them already watching her as she and Liara pick their way across the club.

"I think I may be the only human here," she mutters, thankful suddenly for the gun tucked underneath her coat. "I'm starting to regret letting you talk me into this."

"What happened to 'I always keep my promises?' " Liara asks, pausing outside another door. "Besides you're with me and you're not causing a problem, they can't legally do anything. If anything I bet the people here are wondering if you're…" she trails off and Miranda's eyebrows raise.

"Let them," she mutters. "It'll be easier."

They wouldn't be here long enough for it to matter and she hardly cared what anyone here thought of her.

Liara nods, turning away and hitting the panel to open the door. Miranda follows her through it, forced to duck under the absurd about of…things stacked around the other side. She's careful not to bump any of it, palm ghosting the underside of a particularly hazardously hanging pile of books.

She has more than a few questions.

"Ashi'a-"

"I told you already, Vahna I'll finish it when I finish it, do you have any idea how much shit you have back here-" The voice cuts off. "Oh shit, Liara?" A sputtering of half spoken sentences, most of them in the asari's mother tongue, too fast and too garbled for Miranda's translator to catch them.

"What are you doing here-" another pause as Miranda finally comes around the corner, stilling behind where Liara stands.

Ah.

"What are you doing here with Lawson?!"

"This is your back up?" Miranda says at the same time, biting down on the way the other Asari's low voice cracks in her shock at seeing both of them.

"I didn't know you were working with Cerberus now, Liara," Ashi'a drawls, on guard suddenly, leaning on her forearms. Miranda meets the Asari's eyes, deep purple and filled with the same vexation she recalled from their last meeting.

"I'm not," Liara replies, terse. "I'm working with Miranda, there's a large difference."

"On?" Ashi'a asks and Miranda cuts in.

"Classified."

The ex-commando's attention settles back on her, a tattooed brow quirking in irritation. Miranda smiles, too sharp, unpleasant and lacking. Liara looks between them, sighs.

"We need your help with something," Liara starts, stops, frowns, then corrects herself. "I need your help with something."

"You want me to work with The Illusive Man's favorite attack dog? You know what she did the first time we ever met?"

"If I recall, you attacked me first," Miranda says, stepping off to the side to observe one of the many bottles of liquor stashed on a nearby shelf.

"I kicked your ass into next year, too," Ashi'a says, vaugly smug. "Wasn't your best day."

"Yet I still left with the data we were both after," Miranda replies, selecting a bottle and turning to look at the two Asari. At Liara's questioning stare, she adds, "Del'rafon here threw me down an elevator shaft. Unfortunately for her, she didn't realize it let out on the exact floor we both needed. She chased me through half a city block before I finally got away."

"What kind of data were you after-"

"Classified," Miranda replies, amused with Ashi'a's in unison response. Liara drops the topic, moves on.

"We're going after the Shadow Broker," she says instead, getting to the point of why they were even here on this backwater hellhole of a planet.

Reading the ME comics has put another idea into my head (as well as answered a few questions I had) and I figured out that it could tie into another AU idea I had and the two work so well together I'm yelling to myself.

But also as I keep telling myself, I can't have another multi-chapter fic going. I HAVE TOO MANY AS IS.

Okay so enemies to friends to lovers is kind of my catnip, I love it if it's done well, but it has to be done well. Tbh I also am a sucker for mutual pining too. It's just so good to read (or write) two idiots who are so in love with one another but too afraid to say anything about it.

I don't...actually have one? (I lie, I haven't really thought of it. I have so many various headcanons for characters that it all blurs together and I can't actually slap down a favorite right off the top of my head.)

Straight up? The singular Original Work I Posted to AO3 "Four Soldiers and Ten Pounds of Potatoes" it was a labor of love and it kind of fell flat. Alas I did kind of expect it so I can't totally be shocked.

mmm...I, too, like it when people single out lines or scenes they really enjoyed! I enjoy hearing about the emotional impact certain parts of a story and or chapter had on my readers too.

💝what is a fic that got a different response than you were expecting?

"A Consuming Mind" absolutely did not get the response I was expecting at all. It started out as a couple of one-shots I was hesitant to even POST because of how I portrayed one of the characters, but then it drummed up interest so I let it become a full fledged fic and am now shocked that it became one of my most popular works.
