Saw the FNAF 2 trailer yesterday and idk what to do, I mean I won’t know for sure until the movie’s out…BUT DID THEY SERIOUSLY MAKE MIKE AND VANESSA DATE?!!!!????!!😭💔 I made them half siblings in my fic almost 2 years ago now, that was like the whole twist😐I REALLY did not want to see them together like that, I STILL DONT. I get genuinely pissed off when someone mischaracterizes Bob and/or Joaquin😭

Like NO Bob isn’t your precious baby boy, he is capable of fighting in an animalistic way and shooting you the nastiest glare known to man, there is a beast inside him that he is too nice to let out, meth chicken reveals everything…

Joaquin has confidence, sure, but he’s also a little awkward, like when he’s talking to Sam after that first mission in BNW, he’s so adamant people are saying he didn’t die when it literally JUST happened 💔 Joaquin is the type of guy to get into an argument with himself, angrily letting out his frustrations at his bedroom walls. He’s also the type of guy to constantly make jokes that no one gets or laughs at, or he’ll be the only one laughing 😔

Bob’s sweater problem

I don’t think people fully process or process at all that the clothes Bob is wearing (the blue sweater & corduroy pants) are clothes from when he was A CHILD, I read fics and people are dressing him in similar clothing when he just doesn’t dress like that, do we dress the same as we did when we were children? NO.

No one even stops to think about what the outfit means, why older Bob is wearing it too, it’s supposed to make him feel small, like he has no control or power, Yelena finds Bob hunched over and not in his right state of mind, he’s hiding like a child would if they were sad and/or scared, that’s exactly what the void wanted, for Bob to feel small and like no one was coming to save him.

THATS what that outfit was.

This is Bob more recently, was he in the right state of mind here? No, but he himself chose to wear this, I think the way Bob dresses now is probably similar to that of someone’s dad that really liked classic rock when he was younger😭I think that shows in the end credit scene.

I’m not sure if you know what I mean by that but I’ll give you an example, think opened button downs with tank tops underneath, and a pair of comfortable pants.

"Where the hell are you getting this from" OKAY maybe it is a stretch but I just get that vibe from him based on his around the house outfit.

The robe with what looks like a graphic tee, the lounge pants, the socks & slides, tell me that’s not retired rocker white dad💔 A ROBE when he used to dress like he’d ask you to name 3 songs🤔

I rest my case.

And I hope that we are not forgetting about Bob’s drug addiction, I don’t think you understand, he found the serum while looking for drugs and possibly a little something else, addiction doesn’t just stop, he has friends and powers now but he is still vulnerable.

I hope writers are thinking of this and touching on it, I mean he brought it up 3 times in the movie, he isn’t just some silly little guy, the dude has layers, some of them aren’t as pretty as the others but they’re important and what make him, well, HIM.

The way they had Bob say he did the dishes was so important. It may not seem like enough.. but as someone who struggles with depression, sometimes that IS enough, something is always better than nothing when you struggle to even get out of bed sometimes.
