A Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing.. (oc x ghost)
Tumblr media
A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
Don’t you forget at your friend Death.. (Chp. 12)
"Alright! Sounds great guys! Why don't we take our lunch break now?" Copia said and everyone put their instruments down. "If you'll excuse me, I left my lunch in the fridge." Copia said before exiting the practice room.
"Drew!" Cumulus squealed and hugged her. "You were so amazing! Thank again for telling The Cardinal about Cirrus and I! This will be so much fun going on tour with you, dear!"
"Oh you're welcome." Drew chuckles. "Believe me, you two were first to come to mind when he said anything about backing vocals."
Cumulus let go of Drew and Cirrus came over. "You want to come get lunch with Cumulus and I?" Cirrus asked Drew.
"I would love to, but I actually planned to go get lunch with my brothers. Speaking of, I need to go call them and see if they're ready. Bye now." Drew waved before leaving the practice room.
Drew stood out in the hallway, phone to her ear as it dialed Terzo's number. But all Drew received was a long ring and then his voicemail. "Odd. Maybe he's busy." Drew muttered before dialing Primo.
The same thing. A long ringing period before Primo's voicemail was heard. Drew's eyebrows furrowed before she dialed Secondo only to receive nothing.
"What the hell..? You can't all be this busy." Drew mumbled as she attempted to call them again.
Drew tried not to think about it as she drove herself back to the ministry. Did they know about her sneaking off with the band? She didn't understand what she could've done to upset them and that's what hurt. Drew loved her brothers more than she could love herself and the thought of not knowing how to fix this silence between them scared her.
"I'm home.." Drew called out as she stepped into the quiet ministry. "Does anyone still want to get lunch?"
Drew walked around the ministry looking for anyone really only to find Copia walking down a hall from her. "Copia? What are you doing here? I thought you were getting your lunch?"
Copia paused before turning to face Drew. "Uh..I came as soon as I heard.." Copia couldn't form sentences properly. "Im so sorry Drew.."
"For what?" Drew asked uneasily.
As the light of candles begin to fade, so can the light of souls...
A bright light in the darkness of the Drew's world that warmed the hearts of all around now reduced to a dim and distant memory.
As the memories flood Drew's mind, each one as precious as the last, a wave of grief washes over her. Her childhood, often running around bear foot as she followed her brothers anywhere and everywhere. The comforting days alone with no yelling from their parents and just laughter filling the halls. The love that she felt..all gone in a heartbeat.
The candles are now blown out…

A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
The world rest heavy on your shoulders.. (Chp. 11)
2 years later..
Imperator speed walked to her daughter's room, knocking on the locked door. "Young lady, you better be almost finished. Henry will be he in less than 5 minutes! And turn that music down!"
Drew rolled her eyes as she sat at her vanity applying her face paint. As Drew reached the age of 17 she was becoming a woman. With her facepaint always perfect, her body changing, along with her better sense of fashion.
"Drew!" Her mother kept yelling over the music.
Drew sighed, standing up and opening the door to reveal her outfit to her mother.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Drew! I told you to wear something nice!" Imperator groaned.
"This is nice." Drew said.
"You want to impress him, not scare him away! Go change into the dress I gave you and wipe that off." Imperator groaned.
"I'm not wearing that hideous green dress. This is who I am, and if Henry can't accept that..aw." Drew rolled her eyes.
"Really..because I can't tell who my daughter is under all that facepaint. You have such natural beauty, don't hide it away." Imperator said.
"Don't lie to me..all I see is you when I look in a mirror." Drew sighed before the door bell rang to the ministry.
"You better not disappoint me more than you already have. And don't be a jackass." Imperator huffed before pulling Drew to the front door.
A man, possibly in his late 30s, walked through the door. Drew's eyes narrowed at this man. This must be Henry.
“Henry! Welcome in!” Imperator welcomed Henry into the ministry. “Drew has been so excited about meeting you, isn’t that right dear?”
Drew just stood there with her arms crossed.
“Has someone died recently? Or are one of those..what are they called..gothics, goths?” Henry chuckles.
“And what if I was?” Drew said with tone that caused Imperator to glare at her.
“And a little kick to you, huh? Boy, you’re just full of surprises, I like that.” Henry said as he’s eyes trailed over her. Drew had the fight the urge to gag.
As much as Drew fought with her mother, she still found herself showing Henry around the ministry. “This is the library, it’s full of books if you didn’t know.” Drew said bored.
“I don’t care where the library is, I care about where your room is.” Henry said losing his patience due to Drew being snarky throughout this whole tour.
“It’s messy at the moment, we’ll skip that.” Drew said.
“I’d still like to know the location. That way I’ll know just where to find you when I want you.” Henry said wrapping his hand around Drew’s waist.
“Look.” Drew said forcing his hand off. “I’m not your little doll. Don’t touch me. Drew said as she narrowed her eyes at him.
“But you will be soon..very soon. Personally I can’t wait for our wedding day.“ Henry said.
“I am not marrying you.” Drew crossed her arms.
“It’s already been decided, dear.” Henry said as stroked her cheek to which Drew grabbed his hand and twisted it uncomfortably.
“I told you not to touch me!” Drew said angrily as she released his hand.
Henry slicked back his hair before pointing a fat finger at Drew. “You are my fiancée and I expect you to start acting like it!” Henry yelled.
“I’ll never love you much less act like I do!” Drew yelled back at him.
“She doesn’t actually mean that!” Imperator said as she came around the corner after hearing all the yelling. “Henry, dinners almost ready. Go find a seat at the table.”
Henry looked over at a glaring Drew before heading off for the dinner table. Imperator grabbed Drew’s arm and pulled her down the hall towards her room.
“I told you not disappoint me further than you already have and what did you do!? You are completely embarrassing your family name!” Imperator said shoving Drew into her room.
“Oh yes because that’s all that matters! Not me! The family name!” Drew groaned.
“You really need to grow up.” Imperator sighed before leaving Drew in her room.
Drew sighed as the days went by and her 18th birthday crept closer. Though, something would take her mind off the wedding unexpectedly.
A tour bus rolled up outside of the ministry and a sad looking Terzo stepped off two weeks earlier than expected.
Drew walked out to greet him, but she was ignored as he just closed his room door behind him.
“Terzo..?” Drew knocked at his door. “Terzo? A-are you okay?”
“Yes Drew, everything’s fine..” Terzo mumbled behind the door.
“You’re mumbling.” Drew said, something he had often teased her about.
“Drew can you just leave me alone?” Terzo asked.
“You never let me be alone when I’m upset, so I’m not going to leave you alone. Besides..I haven’t seen you in 3 months.” Drew said.
Terzo sighed and opened the door for her.
“Fired?” Drew said completely confused and shocked. “H-how? Why?!”
“Apparently I was making it all about me..some how.” Terzo sighed as they sat at a table across from each other. “They dragged me offstage like I meant so little..”
“That is so bullshit.” Drew huffed. “You’re the most selfless person I know!”
Terzo stayed quiet before he wiped his eyes. “Omega and I are not speaking to one another at the moment..just to add onto everything else.”
“Oh Terzo..I’m so sorry.” Drew said softly.
Terzo and Drew talked for a few hours. Switching between various topics.
“I’m sorry I lied to you about being the band’s leader..I’m sorry you had to find out that way. And I’m also sorry you have to marry some old fart.” Terzo said.
It wouldn’t be long before Drew stood in the chapel on her 18th birthday with Henry lifting her veil. Drew didn’t even look at him and when asked if she was willing to take Henry’s hand in marriage she hesitated before mumbling a “yes..”
The was no way out as the rings were slid on and the crowd cheered as the two kissed, or rather Henry kissed Drew..
“Ah! Congratulations Drew on your marriage!” Copia came up to Drew as she sat away from everyone dancing. “Young love is truly special, you’re so lucky to experience it.”
“Yes..so lucky.” Drew mumbles.
“What is the matter? You seem rather uh upset?” Copia said taking a seat next to her.
“Nothing..” Drew said before forcing a smile. “Congratulations on your upcoming tour..sounds exciting.”
“Oh yes! Speaking of uh..touring and all that stuff-I’ve been meaning to talk to you about it. I-I know you probably hate me and everything uh anyways and I know your parents wouldn’t allow you to lead the band, but they never said anything about “helping around stage.”” Copia winked.
“What?” Drew asked confused.
Copia muttered nervously. “Would you like to practice with the band and when tour comes..you sneak on before your parents can even do anything about it?”
Drew’s eyes widened. Copia was a miracle in disguise.
(Authors note: I’m really sorry but rain will be introduced later. Don’t worry! He will be here!)
Drew whistled as she unboxed her two basses. One fully black and another black on white. “They’re a beaut.” Drew smiled.
“Thought they’d match your vibe.” Copia chuckled. “Oh! I’ve also heard from your brothers you’re quite the singer. So, along with being our bassist..you’ll be one of our backing vocals as well!”
“Seriously!? Thank you! Wait- one of?” Drew asked.
“Well we have a ghoul backing vocalist, but I was really hoping to have a few more women in the band to really blend the vocals together.” Copia said. “Though I’m struggling to find some with voices that I want.”
Drew’s face curved into a smile. “Well lucky you, I know two great singers.”

A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
Between me and the deep blue sea.. (Chp. 10)
"This is so unfair!" Drew yelled at her parents. "I have waited 15 years to hear that I never even had the chance to lead the band!"
"We told you numerous times Drew! You are never to set foot on stage! You are not to play instruments or sing! And you are not to associate yourself with the band ghouls or any of those creatures for that matter!" Imperator yelled back at her.
"WHY!?" Drew yelled.
"Because of tradition!" Papa Nihil was furious.
"Oh so letting some random man who isn't even blood become the next papa is not breaking tradition!?" Drew huffed.
"Having a female lead the band would also be breaking tradition! We had to pick between and yours would be too much altercations!" Papa Nihil yelled. "Now drop the topic!"
"You are embarrassed of me!" Drew said emotionally.
"Who wouldn't be embarrassed to have a daughter like you!?" Papa Nihil yelled.
"Nihil!" Imperator snapped at him.
"You were the biggest disappointment of my life when I found out you were a girl! And you've proven to be nothing but a pain in my ass ever since!
"You know what's worse!? Having you as a father! You don't even deserve that title with how shitty of one you are!" Drew yelled. "You hid me away from the world in this stupid ministry until I was 8! You gave me a boy's name out of spite! And I'm supposed to just sit in an office and sort through papers the rest of my life!? Am I that useless to you!?"
"Well..not entirely." Papa Nihil said as his lips curled into a smug smirk. "You'll of course continue the bloodline, produce more men so the band can thrive."
"No chance. I'd rather die than give you any grandchildren, much less heirs." Drew crossed her arms.
"I'm afraid you don't have a choice Andrew." Nihil said. "Your mother and I have already made sure of it."
"W-what.." Drew said a little scared.
"Well, we took it upon ourselves to insure that there would be blood heirs so we wouldn't have to repeat an incident like this with Cardinal Copia." Imperator began.
"The day you turn 18 you are to marry the man we've assigned to you." Nihil said evilly.
"No!" Drew yelled. "You can't just do that!"
"Oh but we can and we will." Nihil said smiling evilly.
"You really just live to make my life miserable! I-I hate both of you!" Drew yelled before walking out of the room and stormed off to her room.
Cardinal Copia was wondering the halls and saw Drew's pissed expression. "Oh hello Drew, everything alr-"
"Shut up! You ruined everything!" Drew yelled at Copia before storming off once more.
With her mother's quick temper and her father's anger, Drew's meltdowns were not light. She tore up her room, ripping down posters and knocking stuff to the floor as she yelled about how unfair her life is and her hatred towards her parents.
The aftermath was a messy room and a hurt Drew. The phone rang, Terzo's weekly call as he was still out touring. Drew frowned angrily and picked up the phone to grumble "You lied to me."
"W-what?" Terzo said.
"Years ago, you told me you had convinced the clergy to let me become the next leader of the band." Drew said.
"Is..is this about Cardinal Copia?" Terzo asked gently.
"..You knew..?" Drew whispered over the phone. "You knew The Cardinal would be the next leader to Ghost and you kept that from me!?"
"Drew that's how this works..I'm sorry." Terzo said.
"This is not how it works! You can't just-just bring someone without Emeritus blood and make them the frontman!"
"It was our last option, Drew." Terzo sighed.
"I am right here!" She cried. "Why can't anyone in this family understand that I am right here!"
"I'm sorry, Drew.." Terzo said as he heard how upset she was at this news. "I tried everything for you."
"You're not sorry! If you were sorry you would've just told me all those years ago that I would be tossed aside to be nothing more than housewife! You knew this was my dream..and you lead the impression that it would come true." Drew sniffled.
"Drew you're going to be so much more than a housewife-" Terzo began, only for Drew to slam the phone back on the cradle angrily.
In that moment, Drew felt like her whole life had been a lie. She felt cheated out of her own life. But most of all, she felt betrayed.

A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
Stay with me.. (Chp. 9)
"Have you checked if you packed all of the equipment for tour?" Drew asked Terzo as they loaded up the tour bus.
"Yes, Drew." Terzo chuckled.
"Maybe you should check again. You know..for good measures." Drew mumbles.
Terzo turns back to his sister who looked a little sad at his farewell. He placed a hand on her head which caused Drew to look up at him. "It's only for a few months, I'll be home before you know it." Terzo said quietly.
"I-I know..I'll still miss you." Drew whispered, trying not to let the brimmed tears fall.
Terzo sighed before pulling Drew in for a hug and the tears finally fell, wetting Terzo's suit but he didn't care.
The tour bus honked as a signal to go. Some of the ghouls started to load in, but Omega broke away from the crowd to come over to the siblings. "I'll watch over him for you." Omega said as he placed a hand on Terzo's shoulder.
Drew pulled back from the hug and her makeup smeared slightly due to the tears. "Don't think you can leave without a hug either." Drew muttered before she hugged Omega's waist.
"You act like this is the last time you'll ever see us, Drew." Omega chuckled as he rubbed Drew's back.
The bus honked again as the driver waited impatiently for the other two to get going. Omega said his goodbyes to Drew before he hopped on.
"I'll call every week, alright?" Terzo said as he ruffled Drew's hair slightly. "Alright..love you, Drew." Terzo said before he hopped onto the bus and Drew watched as they pulled out of the church parking lot and left.
"Love you too.." Drew whispered.
"Here Drew, picked up your new anxiety medication while I was out. Remember, one in the morning, one at night." Cirrus said as she and Cumulus walked into her bedroom in the church. Cirrus sat the orange bottle on Drew's nightstand.
"Thanks.." Drew said hoarsely as she lay on her bed with her back towards them.
"Everything alright, dear?" Cumulus asked.
"Yeah.." drew mumbled.
Cirrus and Cumulus looked at one another before looking back at drew. They slowly approached her bed before taking a seat on either side.
Cumulus sighed dramatically, then so did Cirrus. Then they did it again, and again until Drew giggled hoarsely.
"What are you doing?" Drew asked.
"Acting like you." Cirrus poked her shoulder.
"Hey!" Drew sat up. "I don't act like that!"
Cumulus and Cirrus laughed before scooping up Drew and tickling and hugging her like a sandwich. Drew laughed and squirmed as she tried to get away from them.
"Have mercy!" Drew laughed.
Cumulus and Cirrus stopped tickling her but they took a moment to calm down with their laughter. Cumulus wiped a tear away.
"I haven't heard you laugh like that since you were a little girl, Drew." Cumulus said.
The three lay on Drew's bed for a bit, not speaking a word. Drew enjoyed laying her head on Cirrus's shoulder while Cumulus stroked Drew's long, platinum white hair.
"What's the matter, Drew.." Cumulus began. "And don't give me a "I'm fine" as an answer."
Drew sighed. "It's just..with Terzo away, everything's too quiet and unbelievably lonely. It seems like my brothers are either too busy with the church or off touring. I guess I just wish things could go back to when we were all together.." Drew admitted. "I'm sorry..I know I'm being really selfish but I-i just-"
Cirrus cut Drew off. "Selfish? Drew, who told you that wanting to be a family is selfish?"
Drew stayed quiet for a while.
"Drew, baby, what you want is-is normal coming from someone like you. You have a very.. dysfunctional family. You weren't given that love and sense of belonging in a family, and with this new absence of your brothers is exactly why you're feeling..alone, maybe even a little hurt. But that's because that little amount you did feel was from your brothers.." Cumulus said softly.
"What you want is..is a real family." Cirrus began. "But, Drew..you don't need to be connected by blood to be family."
Drew lifted her head slightly to look back and forth between them.
"We're your real family, Drew. Your brothers, Cumulus and I, Omega, even the ghouls and ghoulettes that give you occasional hellos. We'll always be here for you, Drew." Cirrus said.
"Thank you.." Drew sighed contently.
Drew closed her eyes as three all continued to lay together. "You don't need to be connected by blood to be family." Those words kept repeating in Drew's mind. Cirrus was so right, she had already a family, a family with no judgment or feelings of being a burden.
It was late at night when Drew would be dropped off at the ministry by Cirrus. Drew had to finish some homework and then get to bed.
Drew yawned and rubbed her eye, careful not to smudge her facepaint. Drew had been practicing almost everyday now on her facepaint in order to have it perfected by the time she was the leader to the band.
The ministry was cold during the nights and most of the lights had been turned off down most halls to preserve energy. It was quiet like always now, the usual sound of Drew's boots against the marble floor being small taps..but now there was something new.
Down a hall that usually had its lights off, but were now on were very slightly sounds of muttering, light footsteps every so often, and jangling of what sounded like keys.
Drew's heart rate picked up and her palms grew sweaty. Who was here at this hour? Her whole family was away she thought..could it be one of those people Terzo and her were talking about before?
Drew creeped up to a corner, pressing her back to the marble wall and slowly peaking an eye out to look. Her eyes wider when her eyes fell upon a man in a black cardinal's uniform.
He held a key and was trying at various doors and when he was unsuccessful he would muttered something to himself. He stopped in front of Drew's bedroom door and was about to try and unlock it.
"Who is this man!?" Is all Drew could think before she stepped out and yelled at him. "Hey! What the hell are you doing here!?"
The man in the black cardinal uniform dropped the key and stumbled back due to being startled. "Uh sorry-sorry! I'm just looking for my room!" He said adjusting his hat.
"Room? You don't live here!" Drew said stepped closer to him. "Who even are you?"
"Geez you must be Nihil's and Imperators daughter! Forgive me uh-I'm Copia- Cardinal Copia!" The man said sticking out a hand.
Drew did not shake his hand, but rather crossed her arms. "Cardinal Copia? You're the cardinal? Since when?" Drew said skeptical still.
"Well since your brother's tour started up, so..this morning! I-I was assigned a room here though I'm unsure exactly where that uh may be." Copia said.
"Wait wait wait, you must be all confused. The cardinals live in the church." Drew said.
"Well yes, I suppose that's whats normally happens, but Imperator said I need some extra training from Papa Nihil." Copia explained.
"Extra training for what?" Drew asked. "You're already the cardinal."
"Ah as the next Papa!" Copia said excitedly.
The. Next. Papa. The blood drained from Drew's face. This must be some sort of joke.
"I'm supposed to be next.." Drew whispered.

A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
Diary Entry #67 (Chp. 8)
April 5, 2015
Didn't know that peace and quiet could be so..unbearable.
Mom, dad, and Primo are over working in the church more recently. Secondo is helping Terzo get prepared for his upcoming role as the next papa. And I've been here. Alone.
I visit Cumulus and Cirrus more often, but that could never replace the time with my siblings. I guess I just never expected this much feeling of loneliness. What I would give to have moments like we used to when I was younger. I shouldn't have taken our time together for granted..
I guess one good thing about this is that I get to practice music in peace, but I miss when I could hear an occasional "you're getting better, Drew" or "you're really starting to get good with that thing" from one of my brothers down the hall.
I miss eating dinners together. And watching tv together. Losing all the time in pool to Secondo. Having Primo ramble on about his favorite plants growing in his garden...Having Terzo and Omega around..
But I know that's me being selfish again.

Them Rats.. (Chp. 7)
Drew closed her diary and regret writing it immediately after. She shove it behind her dresser and swallow her nerves as she walked out of her room.
To go against Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil were punishable enough, but being their own daughter and doing so..Drew was unsure of what the consequences would be. But she knew they wouldn't be light.
Drew continued to think on that as she snuck out to meet with Omega, who had told her he had something important to share with her privately.
"Would you like honey in your tea?" Omega asked as Drew sat down at a table in his room that was located on the other half of the church.
"No." Drew mumbles.
"You're mumbling again. What's the matter?" Omega asked as he poured two cups of tea.
"Huh? Nothing..just was thinking about things recently." Drew said.
"Do you want to talk-" Omega began.
"No." Drew mumbles. "Stop going off topic, what is so important that you had to tell me?"
"Sorry just..nervous." Omega said as he placed the tea in front of her and took a seat across from her. His wood chair making various squeaks as he sat down.
Omega sighed and nervously tapped on his cup. "I-..your brother and I.." He began. "Nevermind."
"Come on.." Drew groaned before she sighed. "Sorry..I'm probably not making this better for you. I'm not good at comforting others..but I will listen, I promise." Drew said in a more soft tone.
Omega took a deep breath. "Uh..for some time now..your brother and I have been..uh working together. You know, showing me things we wants to do when he becomes papa, practicing a few songs together..um but-but it came a little more than that at some point."
Drew paused mid sip.
"I know it's sounds odd and unnatural..a human and a ghoul, together. It's something about him, maybe that he's never been afraid of us or thought of us as beast. Or maybe it's way I can feel comfortable around him..the littlest butterflies in my stomach when he's near.." Omega rambled and the realization clicked with Drew.
"You two are together?" She asked.
"Yes..I-i wanted to tell you because I trust you and so does Terzo. I just wanted to ask you personally if it would be okay since Terzo clearly has a special place in his heart for you and vice versa..." Omega said quietly.
"Well..thank you.." Drew began, taking in all this new information. "And as long as you make him happy..that's all that matters."
Omegas eyes squinted with the smiled behind his mask.
"Now that I think about it, it all makes sense between you two." Drew chuckled as her and Terzo walk on a path outside the church. "All the times I've seen you two together seem awfully flirtatious now that I look back."
Terzo chuckled. "Yes, though I'm trying to be better about it. I can't slip up around the wrong people. I hope that when I'm papa I'll be able to bring maybe even the slightest amounts of equality to ghouls."
"Me too.." Drew agreed. "I'm honored that you trust me."
"Of course, you're one of the few people I trust Drew." Terzo admitted.
"You don't trust a lot of people?" Drew questioned.
"You can't trust everyone Drew." Terzo sighed. "There's...there's something not right about our church and the people running it.."
"With ghouls?" Drew asked.
"Not just ghouls, Drew. There's something more than just spreading satanic influence to the outside world with music going on here. Even Primo agrees something is wrong." Terzo said.
"I-I don't understand." Drew said concerned. "Is something bad going to happen?"
Terzo gave Drew a complexed look. "I don't know, but Omega told me that before either of us were born that there was a whole other part of the church that was below ground. It was said to have been used as underground passages to different places inside the actual church."
"Really?" Drew asked.
"I didn't believe it either as every evidence of it has been removed from the church's history, but Omega still has an old map of the whole underground system." Terzo said.
"Why was it removed" Drew asked.
"It's closed off and filled in now because people abused its ability of secrecy.." Terzo began. "A group of cloaked people, not ghouls, humans were said to have frequent meetings. These people sought more than what the church intends. They sought utter power and control."
"Well..were they ever caught?" Drew asked.
"Only 2.." Terzo sighed.
"Out of?" Drew asked hesitantly.
"Omega said an estimated..70." Terzo said. "And what's worse is that people around have done odd things out of the blue, various rooms turned upside down without trace of who, people gone missing..but the church doesn't bring that to the surface. Drew, I have this gut feeling that..that this means someone within the high ranks..maybe the clergy..are one of those people. Maybe more."
"Satanas.." Drew breathed. "So there are "rats" among us still."
"I am afraid there still is, little sister. But do not worry, your big brothers will do everything to make sure you're safe. I won't harm come your way, Drew." Terzo said trying to lighten up the mood.
The heaviness of the idea that a whole secret organization could still be thriving within their very church made Drew uneasy.
With this new information only brought Drew more questions and the truth seemed to hide itself even further..

Diary Entry #1 (Chp. 6)
April 16, 2013
I had completely forgotten I had this thing. A Ghoulette who I vaguely remember being called 'Mist' I think gave it to me on my 9th birthday. It's just been sitting under a pile of books I had in my room, but I found it today after cleaning up some.
I'm scared that my parents may snoop through my room and find everything, but it's better for me to write my thoughts down than risk spewing them out at the wrong time.
As I've reached 13 years of age I've began to..question a lot around me. Mostly my parents.
I don't..understand. I don't understand why they keep everyone under this impression that Ghouls and Ghoulettes are these foul beast. Why did my mother take away Cumulus when I was a child? Why is Terzo so connected with them? How come band Ghouls are held to a higher standard than "common" Ghouls or Ghoulettes?
For now, all I know is that..there's a reason to all of this.
I wish I knew what it was.

You Will Never Ever Walk Alone.. (Chp. 5)
A few hours after Drew had calmed down, Terzo was now driving them to the church. Drew still seemed a little upset, she was hurt. A hurt that wouldn't go away with a single "sorry."
Drew had applied a light layer of face paint to hide her red, puffy eyes and cheeks. A now well mixed blue and whites around the cheekbones and eyes, which had a black ovalish paint around them.
Drew stared out the window as they drove through the small city together. A small city had been built around Ghost's church and ministry as the following grew and people became more devoted especially nowadays as the population grows rapidly.
Drew heard the radio turn down but the slight sound still emitted.
"Drew I'm really am sorry about what happened. I know that's something you'll probably never forget or forgive." Terzo paused. "I know you want to make mom and dad proud but..that just isn't going to happen, and it's effecting you. I see you everyday trying to be something you're not. You're forcing yourself to be exactly what mother wants, this stoic, cold, and manipulative woman just like she is..but you can't." Terzo said
Drew turned to look at him as he drove. "How come?"
"Because you have a heart of gold, Drew. You're so different from everyone else in this family, not because you're the first female, but because of this strength of spirit in you! You're so expressive when you want to be and so ambitious about what you love, hell, you're about the bravest person I know! You have so much potential and you don't need anyone to see that. I wish I could be more like you.." Terzo concluded.
Terzo pulled into his reserved parking spot at the church and hopped out of his car. The car beeped when he locked it. He looked over at Drew on the other side agape at the towering church.
"It's a sight to behold, isn't it?" Terzo chucked as Drew smiled at him.
Terzo was about to begin walking to the church when Drew quickly hugged him. "Thank you..." She whispered.
"It's only the truth, little sister. Now come on! Can't be late to your own party!" Terzo said with a clap of his hands.
The inside of the church was even more majestic. The colorful stained glass windows and tall standing hallways with huge paintings of previous papas.
"Cant wait for my own.." Drew thought to herself and smiled.
"Where is everyone?" Drew asked.
"It's dinner time, most people are in the dining hall. But soon it will be dinner party when we arrive." Terzo smiled and pulled Drew down the hall until the voices of hundreds of people grew louder. They stopped at two big doors. "Nervous?"
"Pfft." Drew scoffed.
Terzo pushed open the two doors and hundreds of heads turned and the talking halted. You could hear a pen drop as everyone stared at Drew. Now the nerves kicked in.
"Everyone! I'd like you all to wish my little sister Drew a big happy birthday!" Terzo announced and abruptly the silence turned into hundreds of happy birthday wishes, claps, and various random yells.
A smile formed on Drew's still nervous face. She's never seen this many people before, much less this much attention and excitement.
Terzo and Drew walked around for a bit, Terzo introduced Drew to various people, numerous of them judging her for her..acquired makeup, as they called it.
After a good 30 minutes of talking to judgmental seniors and excited workers of the church, Terzo pulled Drew out into a new hallway and they began walking once more.
"Why are we leaving my party?" Drew asked confused.
"My dear sister! That was no party!" Terzo chuckled as he lead her down a more eerie hallway that had two large double doors again. Only, this one was rather beat up and cobwebs built up at the top. Drew gave her brother a skeptical look.
"I promise Drew, this is the real party. My "co-workers" who wanted to see you." Terzo said with a wink.
"But I thought those were your co-workers back there." Drew said which Terzo just laughed mischievously as they headed through the double doors.
They walked some more and as they did Drew could see the physical differences in this part of the church. Things were not as clean, well kept, or welcoming. The windows are closed with curtains and the only light came from few candles on the wall.
Distant laughter was heard echoing down the hall that made Drew jump and Terzo laugh at her. "Shut up.." She grumbled.
A door opened down the hall and two ghouls stepped out laughing with beers in hand.
"Omega." Terzo said to which the ghoul looked up at him and called into the room that they had arrived.
"Hi Omega." Drew said with a little wave.
"Hey again Andre-" Omega began to say cheerfully before stopping as he saw Terzo shaking his head like a maniac. "Uh.."
"Drew is very excited for this party." Terzo said which Omega had a little lightbulb moment.
A squeal was heard as the door swung open abruptly to a giddy, rounded ghoulette. "She's here?! Where!?" The ghoulette said looking around before her eyes landed on Drew. "My goodness look how big you are now! I remember when you were just a itty bitty thing awww!" The ghoulette chooed as she squeezed Drew's cheeks.
"W-who are you?" Drew asked.
"It's me, Cumulus!" The ghoulette said and Drew's eyes swelled up.
"Cumulus!" Drew brightened up immediately and Cumulus hugged her tightly, picking her up slightly.
"Oh how I've missed you my dear child!" Cumulus laughed cheerfully.
"I thought you'd forgotten about me!" Drew laughed as she was set down.
"Oh, how could I forget about such a sweet child! Come, come! There are so many who want to meet you!" Cumulus said as she tugged Drew into the room where now a bunch of ghouls and ghoulettes turned to look at her.
Drew was astonished, had Terzo really been in contact with all these ghouls and ghoulettes in secret this whole time?
Before Drew knew it, she was standing in front of a homemade cake and being sung happy birthday by numerous ghouls and ghoulettes she got to know on a personal level in only a few minutes. They were very welcoming to her, a happy and wild bunch.
Not to mention the loads of presents she received from all of them. Some of her favorites being some vinyls, some hand knitted sweaters, various jewelry, and a small journal.
"I think I'm too dumb for these things." Drew huffed as she set her rubix cube aside as Cumulus braided her long platinum white hair.
"Let me try." Cirrus said as she took the cube and sat next to Cumulus on the couch.
"Always thought your hair was the most beautiful thing ever, dear." Cumulus said her gentle hands stroked through Drew's hair to braid it. "Not everyday you see such things!" She giggled.
Drew smiled at her comment as her eyes watched everyone else interacting. Some playing a round of pool for low bets of money while others sat around drinking and chatting. Drew caught Terzo and Omega leaving together to go down the hall.
"Where's my brother going?" Drew said as she began to stand up only to be sat back down by Cumulus.
"Let's not worry about them, besides I'm still braiding your hair." Cumulus said.
"There! All done." Cirrus said holding out the cube.
"Cir, dear, you have some oranges and blues together." Cumulus chuckled.
"Huh? No I don't." Cirrus said looking over it.
"I think you're colorblind." Cumulus and Drew giggled and caused Cirrus to grumble.
Drew took a deep breath. This was so different from the judgement glares of seniors or her parents. Here was calm. Here was..safe.
I've been busy. Sorry about inconsistency ✌️

A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
It’s The Sight of a Million Regrets..(Chp 4.)
A little more than a year has passed since that day, Andrew was now 8 years old and still under the impression that one day she'll be the first frontwoman to the band Ghost.
When her parents were away, Terzo would bring over a ghoul to the ministry to teach Andrew guitar in order for her to make up songs in her freetime.
Andrew stood behind her brother's legs as the ghoul stood a few feet with a guitar case in each hand. He was a tall ghoul with broad shoulders. He liked to wear rings on numerous fingers and his grayish-blue eye that looked through the eyeholes of his sliver mask at Andrew.
"Andrew this is Omega, my p- my friend who offered his skills in guitar to you." Terzo explained.
Andrew continued to hide behind Terzo's legs. "Friend? But ghouls are bad!" Andrew said.
Terzo sighed and mouthed a "sorry" to Omega before he crouched down to Andrew's level to look her in the eyes. "Andrew, I know mom and dad have fed you this idea that ghouls are these foul beast. But, that's as far away from the truth. What about Cumulus, you liked her. Did she ever try to bite you or put you in harms way?"
"No.." Andrew said.
"So what's so different from Omega? Sure he's scary looking, but he truly is the sweetest guy if you get to know him." Terzo smiled.
Andrew looked over at Omega who gave her a little wave and his eyes squinted, as if he was smiling behind the mask.
"And this is a G chord." Omega said as he slowly strummed his guitar. "Now you try."
Andrew, who made Terzo sit right next to her, struggled for a moment. The neck of the guitar being slightly big for her hands and at best she was able to produce a G chord with only a few strings muted.
"This hurts my hands." Andrew whines.
"I know, but if you keep this up you'll build up these things called callouses on your fingers and it won't hurt so much." Omega said holding out his hands to the girl, but at a distance as he could still tell she was hesitant.
"Ew." Andrew giggles said making Omega chuckle.
For months and months, Omega would come over secretly to teach Andrew. With that time together, Andrew grew quite fond of Omega and began to question if what her parents told her was all that true.
"Are there other ghouls like you at the church?" Andrew asked Omega.
"Yeah plenty, though not as roguishly handsome." Omega responded making Terzo chuckle slightly.
"But you all look the same?" Andrew said confused. "Say, why do you all wear a mask? Or is that your real face?" Andrew asked.
"No, no..uh it's just like a safety protocol or whatever the hell. Damn humans still believe we wanna eat them or something, most humans sorry." Omega sighed. "Or we're just too scary or ugly looking."
"Oh don't let them feed you those lies." Terzo scoffed.
"Alright see you soon." Terzo said as he and Andrew walked Omega out.
"Bye!" Andrew waved.
Once the door was shut and the two siblings walked in the halls together, Andrew began to wonder once again.
"Is it true? Are most ghouls like Omega? Nice? Funny?" Andrew asked.
"Why don't I take you to the church and you decide on that?" Terzo suggested.
"Really? But mom said I'm not old enough." Andrew said.
"Who cares what mom says, sometimes you have to be your own person, Andrew. Everyone has their opinions, why don't make yours? How about for your 9th birthday, that's just around the corner." Terzo said.
"Alright!" Andrew said excitedly.
A few weeks passed and Andrew waited early for her birthday and slowly the day came. She woke up bright and early to eat breakfast with her family.
Sister Imperator sat a plate of French toast and eggs in front of her which she quickly began to devour in hunger.
"So how old are you Andrew? Mmm 17?" Secondo teased.
"Oh dear, no no no she's still many more birthdays. Yes, many more!" Imperator said, having that emotional moment of watching her child grow up which made Secondo roll his eyes.
"Well happy birthday, little sister." Primo said and so did everyone else except for Papa Nihil, who sat at the end of the table looking more sour than usual.
"Oh mother, when Andrew is done opening her presents she's going to come with me to the church. Some of my coworkers wanted to give her some presents and finally meet her." Terzo said to Imperator.
Imperator thought for a moment before speaking. "Just keep her in your vision at all times."
Terzo nodded and Andrew gave him a big smile across the table.
"Oh my gosh I love this dress! Thank you Primo!" Andrew squealed and held it up to her body. It was an all black with that sort of goth elegance to it. "I'm going to go put it on right now!" Andrew said as she ran out of the living room to her room with it.
Imperator sighed and looked over to Papa Nihil who had continued to sulk. "Would you stop that? It's your daughter's birthday. You could at least act like you care."
"Well I simply don't." Nihil said and the whole family looked at him. "It's just another year reminding me how you failed to give me another son."
Sister Imperator scoffed. "Oh so it's all my fault that I couldn't magically choose the gender of our baby!"
"You told me it was going to be a boy!" Nihil yelled back.
"I said it felt like a boy! That doesn't mean I knew!" Sister Imperator didn't back down.
"Well that's your fault for not getting an ultrasound and wanting it to be a stupid surprise!" Nihil yelled.
"Well it's your fault for naming your daughter a boys name! When will you tell her that you only named her Andrew to remind her that she's everything she can't be in your eyes!?"
"What..?" Andrew spoke up sadly making everyone turn their heads with wide eyes. She now stood in her new dress, but her face had been downturned into a quivering frown.
"Andrew, baby..uh we didn't really mean that."
Sister Imperator said.
Andrew's eyes watered. "Don't call me that.." she whispered as her tears trickled down her cheeks.
"Andrew.." Imperator softly, reaching out to console her only for Andrew to slap her hand away and run back off to her room. The door slamming down the hall with an echo.
"Look what you've done!" Imperator stood up off the couch.
"Me!? If you had kept your fat mouth closed she wouldn't have known or been upset!" Nihil huffed.
Imperator began her way to Andrew's room.
"Wait mother..I think it's best if we handle this." Primo said and his brothers nodded.
"Andrew? May we come in?" Primo knocked on her door as her three older brothers stood outside her room where they could hear muffled sobs.
"A-as long as you don't call m-me that name.." She said.
The three brothers exchanged confused looks before opening the door and stepping inside. Her room was a light cream color with various posters of her favorite bands such as Black Sabbath, Echo & The Bunnymen, Greta Van Fleet, and others. She lay on her bed curled up in a blanket and holding onto her pillow as she cried into it. Her brothers took a seat around her.
"What would you like us to call you?" Secondo asked.
She thought for a moment. "Drew..just Drew."
"Alright Drew, understand that mom and dad were just caught up in the moment of arguing and said a lot of mean things." Secondo said.
"No..they meant it. Why else would I have been named that if it wasn't..?" Drew sniffled. "It's fine..I've accepted for a while now that dad doesn't like me..he never wanted a daughter."
"Come on that's not true-" Primo began.
"It is true!" Drew cried. "I-I can't do anything good enough in his eyes because I'll never be good enough for him!"
The three brothers sighed before Terzo opened his arms for Drew, allowing her the choice of a hug. She instantly hugged him.
Primo and Secondo came close and all hugged her as well, soon her tears dried.

It’s The Same Old Song..(Chp 3.)
(Just so this isn't confusing, Terzo is currently a cardinal since Primo and Secondo are papas around this time 🤠)
Their laughter kept playing back in his mind as Terzo filled out the paperwork that had been dropped off in his office this morning.
"A female papa, huh?" One of the clergymen chuckled. "What like a papess?"
"You must be joking, Cardinal." Another laughed.
Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator glared at him across the table, but stayed quiet hoping this whole conversation would blow over.
"Dead serious, Andrew is as worthy of leading Ghost when the time comes as any of us." Terzo said, nodding to Primo and Secondo.
"But that just doesn't work. We can't just make up something for the sake of someone's childish dream." A clergyman said.
"You can when they have Emeritus blood running through their veins. Andrew is apart of this family and I am sick of everyone pushing her to the side." Terzo said frustrated.
"That is because Andrew's needs and wants aren't as important as things like-" Nihil began only to be cut off by Secondo.
"What could possibly be more important than your own daughter, matter of fact, any of your children?" Secondo said.
Papa Nihil glared at Secondo for being called out.
"Maybe her dreams are unrealistic. Maybe she does things you disapprove on, but that does not give you the right to push her to the side just because of that. Maybe she wants this so bad because then actually show her some damn attention for once." Secondo said, glaring back at his father.
"Do not harp me about parenting, boy. You know nothing on the matter."  Nihil huffed.
"Do you?" Secondo clapped back. "I mean you were hardly around for any of us when we were children."
A deafening silence overtook the room before one of the main clergymen spoke up with a clear of his throat.
"Uh..shall we conclude this clergy meeting?" He said and immediately people began to get up and push in their chairs to leave.
"Terzo?" Came Andrew's voice behind his closed door and her light knocking until he got up from his desk and opened the door for her.
The small child had a messy painted face of whites and blues.
"Andrew what is on your face?" Terzo lightly chuckled as he closed the door.
"My face paint, duh." Andrew said. "I look fabulous don't I?" She said sassily.
"Sure, we'll go with that." Terzo said. "But you know what mom and dad will say if they see you like that." Terzo said as he crouched down to her level.
"Yeah I know.." Andrew said.
"You're such a naughty kid." Terzo chuckled before tickling her stomach making her giggle uncontrollably.
Terzo gently picked her up and brought her into his bathroom. He set her on the sink counter before fetching a wash rag.
"So did you ask?" Andrew finally asked.
"Uh..yeah, yeah I did." Terzo trailed off as he wet the wash rag.
"And what did they say?" She asked curiously.
"Close your eyes." He said and she complied, letting him wash away the paint. "They uh..they said they would definitely think about it." Terzo lied. "Yeah, they said it was a cool idea."
"Really!?" Andrew said excitedly.
"Mmh." Terzo hummed. "Though they are fairly busy, so it might take awhile before the papers are passed to the right person, okay?" He said as he continued to wash away the paint.
"That's okay, I can wait." Andrew said happily.
It had been a few hours since that talk with Andrew, it was now dark outside the ministry and the three brothers were in the kitchen making dinner. Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil were still at the church, most likely trying to smooth things out after what was said at the meeting today.
"Now you're just going to get her hopes up, brother." Primo sighed as he closed the fridge.
"I didn't know what to do!" Terzo said frustratedly. "You want me to just tell to give up on this idea?"
"No, but I you shouldn't have lied to her." Primo said.
"I didn't want to hurt her." Terzo said.
"Yes but, finding it out herself will hurt more." Secondo said as he sipped on his glass of wine.
"Fine, you break it to her then." Terzo said.
"Break what to me?" Andrew said as she stepped into the kitchen making all of them jump slightly.
"Good lord below, child!" Primo said before they fell quiet. The only sound being from the soup on the stove.
"Well?" Andrew said.
"That um.." Secondo trailed off trying to think "we aren't having grilled cheese with our soup, it's very filling by itself." He lied.
"Aw man." The little girl said.
The four of them sat at the dinner table laughing and talking as they ate. It was rare to have dinners where there was actual laughter. Moments like these made them thankful for one another, even if it was never said.
Andrew giggled at a story Primo told about his first show and how everything seemed to go wrong.
"I hope that never happens to me once it's my turn." Andrew giggled and the room fell silent. "I wanna make dad proud of me."

Trying To Be The Chosen One..(Chp 2.)
"Sit up straight." Imperator harped at Andrew for the second time today. "You expect me to believe our future mistress of the of the ministry will be hunched over her work?"
"No mama." Andrew responded quietly and straightened up in her chair as she worked on her school work.
Drew was homeschooled as all the Emeritus children once were. Though, there was at one point a ghoulette who worked as Andrew's teacher. But, Imperator worried that Andrew would grow attached to such..foul beast, and so the Ghoulette was removed.
In the church and ministry that founded the band Ghost, ghouls and ghoulettes were seen by majority of humans as workers, oddities, things, its. Oftentimes, being publicly shamed..even beaten for the littlest inconveniences.
This all drives back to decades ago after a human was attacked by a feral ghoul inside the church. Ever since then, ghouls have been seen as a potential hostiles and the clergy decided to separate the living quarters of humans and ghouls within both locations. Though nowadays, ghouls and ghoulettes are forbidden on the ministry grounds. The exception of band ghouls.
The phone on the wall rings, distracting Andrew from her work as her mother picks up the phone. A lot of "mmhs" and "yeses" from Imperator. It was hard for Andrew to pick up what they were talking about but soon her mother would hang up.
"I have some business to attend to at the church." Imperator said.
"What kind of business?" Drew asked curiously.
"Adult business, child." Imperator said as she walked to the door.
"But I don't understand my how to do some of my assignments." Andrew said.
"Ask one of your brothers." Imperator responded with a sigh.
Andrew thought for a moment before speaking again. "What about Cumulus? Could I call her and ask her for help again?"
Sister Imperator stopped in her tracks and slowly turned around to her daughter with narrowed eyes. "Absolutely not. That thing was a terrible influence on you. Not making that mistake again."
"..Cumulus isn't a thing." Andrew mumbles, tapping her pencil on the table.
Imperator scoffed. "You're too young to understand, child. That creature tried to manipulate you-"
"How? By teaching me things you didn't care to?" Andrew said with an attitude.
"Things that I strictly forbid you from doing! Painting your face, singing, playing damn instruments are things that I've continuously told you no to! When will you learn that you are not like your brothers!? You are a girl, Andrew! There has never once been a female papa AND THERE NEVER WILL!" Sister Imperator yelled at the child. "That is just tradition."
Andrew sat silently in her chair not daring to look at her mother.
"You know.." Imperator began with a sigh "I was planning on taking you to the church sooner than planned, but this just goes to show you're still an immature brat."
The door slammed closed and Andrew was left alone once again...
"Then cross multiple." Terzo explained.
"Oh, duh." Andrew said as she sat next to her brother inside his office within the ministry. Terzo was the only one who wasn't busy, or that's what he told Andrew when she came to him for help. Pushing his pile of paperwork to the side at the moment to help his sister at her schoolwork.
"You're just making simple mistakes is all." Terzo said.
"Terzo?" Andrew began which he responded with a hum. Andrew looked at him before shaking her head as worry overtook her. "Nevermind.."
Terzo placed a hand on his little sister's shoulder and looked over her worried face. "Andrew, I know it's hard to speak to our feeling or thoughts in this family, but you never have to be afraid when speaking with me. Same goes for Primo and Secondo. Okay?"
"Okay.." Andrew responded. "It's just..is our family tradition actually that strict? Like there's no slight chance it could be bent for me?"
Terzo sighed. "Is this about you wanting to perform again?"
"..Yeah.." Andrew said quietly. "Why should it matter if I'm a girl, I'm part of this family..I should still get my turn as everyone else had. I'll be patient I swear!"
"I know, little one. And if it were up to me I'd  share the stage in a heartbeat." Terzo smiled at his sister. "Wouldn't that be something."
"So no?" Andrew sighed.
Terzo's smile fell, he knew this is what she wanted more than anything. Yet, it was an impossible situation.
"No I'm afraid. But, I'll tell you what Andrew, maybe I can bring something up the next clergy meeting. How does that sound?" Terzo asked.
Andrew perked up with a smile and hugged her brother tightly. "Thank you! Thank you!"

A story full of star crossed lovers, angst, betrayal, and unexpected plot twist you won't see coming, and a lesson of you can't trust everyone, not even those closest...
Tis’ The Night of The Witch..(Chp 1.)
It was a late October night, the moon full and glowing bright. The breeze from outside could be heard against the ministry's windows, that is if you could hear it over the wailing of a newborn baby.
Sister Imperator and Papa Nihil had forgiven each other at one point and a new member of the Emeritus family would be a result. Though Nihils mood turned sour as the child was not another son as he had wish but a beautiful baby girl.
"What should we name her, Nihil?" Imperator asked him as she still lay in bed holding her new child, to which he did not respond as he sulked in the corner of the room.
"How about Isabelle?" Terzo suggested.
"Thats stupid." Secondo grumbled. "What about Macy?"
Primo began to say something, but was interrupted by their father.
"Andrew." Nihil said.
"Andrew? That more of a boys name don't you think?" Imperator asked.
"Well I expected another son." Nihil responded.
The argument of the girls name would be useless as Nihil would get his way in the end.
Andrew Emeritus was a unique child growing long and thick white hair at her young ages. She had her father's eye, as did her brothers. She was a rather quiet child, but her curiosity made up for it.
She would often follow her older brothers around wanting to do anything they did. Her father paid little attention to her, often shooing her off when she brought her favorite stuffy to Nihil, which was a stuffed goat that Secondo had given her when she was three.
From a young age, Sister Imperator made sure to be stricter to Andrew for she wanted her to be a well mannered and intelligent woman. Imperator wanted her daughter to be a striking image of her by the time Andrew reached adulthood.
When Andrew was 7, she had a clear interest in her bloodline's band. She wanted to sing and play for hundreds to see just like her brothers. So, she brought the idea up one dinner.
Primo was sat next to the little girl, helping her cut up her steak. It was relatively quiet, the scraping of silverware against the plates filled the dining room that the six of them ate at until Andrew spoke up.
"Mama, I want to sing too." Andrew said
"What are you on about now, child?" Imperator sighed.
"Sing? Like Primo and Secondo." Andrew said.
Nihil scoffed as Imperator chuckled. "No dear child, you'll work at the ministry with me." Imperator said.
"But-"
"No buts, it's not up to debate Andrew." Nihil cut her off. "You can't be a papa, therefore, you can't ever be frontman to Ghost."
"What if I work hard?" Andrew  asked.
"You work hard? Hah." Nihil said in a monotone voice. "You're about the laziest child I know."
"I will!" Andrew whined.
"Enough Andrew." Nihil sighed in annoyance.
"Father! I really, really, want to! I-" Andrew began again only to be cut off once again.
"You can want a lot of things, child. But do you get a lot of those things? No." Nihil said before mumbling under his breath something like along the lines of "..wanted another son."
"What if I practiced a lot? Or got a teacher?" Andrew suggested before Papa Nihil's hand slammed on the dining table making both Terzo and Andrew jump.
"You can't become a papa and that's that! There's a tradition in this bloodline and we are not breaking it for such a reason!" Nihil yelled at the little girl before scoffing.
Andrew sat back in her chair and looked at her lap as her eyes filled with tears.
"Oh for Hells sake..stop crying! Swear that's all you do, girl!" He continued to yell.
"Maybe that because you can't go a single conversation with her without yelling at her!" Primo spoke up. "That is, if you actually cared to strike up a conversation with your daughter ."
"Shut up Primo! This doesn't concern you!" Nihil yelled as tears dripped down Andrew's cheeks.
That's how many dinners and most conversations with their parents went. Always with yelling and Andrew being sent to her room for "misbehaving."
Thanks so much for reading this first chapter! I plan on making more chapters and extending the story more!
