Strangers SLAM Mom Who Left Child In Stroller WHILE Driving ------------------------------------------------ Authorities in the UK have launched an investigation after a photo of a #child sitting in a stroller inside a car went viral on social media. According to the Bath Chronicle, the controversial photo was taken by a Trowbridge man named Gareth Giles and shared on #Facebook on Thursday. The shocking photo shows a little girl sitting in a stroller in the back of a red Toyota Yaris. After Giles shared the photo on his Facebook page, several commenters slammed the driver for allowing a small child to sit in the back of a car without restraints. “This driver should be banned from driving forever,” one commenter wrote. “OMG report them!! Anything could of happened to the poor child,” another added. As the Bath Chronicle reports, looking closely at the photo, it appears that the stroller was being held in place by disability straps. Avon and Somerset officers in the area later told the Bath Echo that they did manage to track down the owner of the vehicle, presumably the child’s mother, so they could speak to her about car safety. #Woman Realizes Her #Airbnb Renter LIED When She Returns Home On New Year’s Eve --------------------------------- A #California #teen is officially banned from using Airbnb after he lied to his host about his age, so he could throw a huge #NewYearsEve party at her house. “He seemed very mature and was very polite,” Airbnb host Reshma Vasanwala said of the “man” who rented out her house in #Oakland last weekend. According to Vasanwala, the person renting her house for New Year’s Eve was an older man from #Chicago, just visiting for a day or two. As it turns out, the renter was actually a teenager from #Berkeley, who invited more than 200 friends to Vasanwala’s house to celebrate his 18th birthday. Unsurprisingly, the night didn’t end well and Vasanwala came home to find that the #teens had completely destroyed her entire house in a matter of hours. “If it had gone on for two to three more hours, who knows, could have burned down the house,” a #neighbor said later, according to ABC 7. Vasanwala was forced to race back home on New Year’s Eve after a neighbor called and warned her that several #policeofficers had showed up to her house to break up the #birthdaybash. By the time Vasanwala and her partner arrived back home, all the #party guests had already fled the scene. The teenage renter, however, actually did return just in time for #police to arrest him on the spot for #vandalism. She THOUGHT She Was Buying A #Coffee, Instead The Employee #Robbed Her!! ---------------------------------- After a #woman noticed some discrepancies in her #bank account, she remembered a gut feeling she had after giving her card to a #Starbucks employee. So, the #customer decided to take matters into her own hands and go confront the women she believe stole her #creditcardinformation. The entire conversation was recorded in video and posted by #TrueFeed to #Facebook, where it has been viewed over 6 million times. She pulled up to the drive through, ordered her drink, and then called the employee a fraud and the employee replies, “What’s wrong?” “So we got you on camera yesterday at #Ralphs for 200 dollars,” the women said to the Starbucks employee, whose face quickly turned from upbeat to surprised. The women said in the video that the employee took a copy of her credit card on Jan. 1 while she was paying for a drink at the popular #coffee chain. According to the customer in the #video, the employee reportedly made a copy of the card while she told the customer she was going to get receipt paper. After being asked multiple times if she was sorry, the employee responded to the #women and confessed to the crime. “I’m sorry that I took money from you and your kids, I’m sorry that you had to come up here, I’m sorry that this is inconvenient for you.” The employee then added that she is 19 years old and “a good #child.” The women then asked, “How would you even make a copy of my card… you went back there for a minute?” The girl responded, “I didn’t make the copy, I took the numbers.” While saying this in the video, she made a gesture with her hands suggesting she wrote the numbers down. “You come to Starbucks to get coffee, not to get robbed!” The customer said. Shocking Images Show What Happens To Unborn #Babies If #PregnantWomen… ----------------------------------- #Doctors have been urging expectant #mothers to stop #smoking during #pregnancy for years, but have you ever actually seen what happens to an unborn #baby when its #mother #smokes? A study led by Dr. Nadja Reissland, from Durham and Lancaster University’s Psychology Department, has found that babies actually touch their faces far more often in the womb if their mother smokes throughout pregnancy. The study only involved 20 #mothers total, four of whom smoked an average of 14 #cigarettes a day, but the researchers are now hoping to expand the study after their eye-opening results. Reissland studied several moving 4D scan images and recorded thousands of tiny movements the #babies made inside the womb before making the stunning conclusions. As you can see, the fetus in the second scan is clearly touching its face far more often than the baby in the first image. According to Reissland, the results indicate that babies born to mothers who regularly #smoke may have delayed development of the central nervous system. “A larger study is needed to confirm these results and to investigate specific effects, including the interaction of maternal stress and smoking,” Reissland said. She believes that taking videos of the differences in pre-birth development may finally encourage soon-to-be mothers to give up smoking during pregnancy. “Technology means we can now see what was previously hidden, revealing how smoking affects the development of the foetus in ways we did not realise,” said co-author Professor Brian Francis, of Lancaster University. “This is yet further evidence of the negative effects of smoking in pregnancy.”

After Fathering 54 #Children, ‘#Selfless’ #Dad Creates An App To Find More Potential #Moms ------------------------------------- A man dubbed “Britain’s most successful sperm donor” claims that fathering 54 children is the most selfless act he’s ever done. 43-year-old Declan Rooney has fathered about 31 children this year alone after launching his very own sperm donation website to help #women struggling to conceive. His site has become so successful, in fact, that Rooney has even created a smartphone app to promote his special services. As a former website #designer and graffiti artist, Rooney didn’t actually start donating his sperm to women until March #2014. Aside from donating his sperm to dozens of women, Rooney has also fathered eight children of his own with four different mothers. “I’m a nice guy,” he told The Mirror. “Why can’t people understand I am just doing this to help out?” Although he does ask that his recipients cover the cost of gas and travel expenses, Rooney claims that he does not actually charge for his sperm. “Egg donors get treated like saints, sperm donors get treated like back alley, smutty boys,” he said. “But I’m not doing a bad thing. I’m not ashamed. I have helped some create families.” All Rooney requires of aspiring parents before handing over his little #gift of life is that the mother cannot smoke and the family receiving his sperm can financially support the cost of raising a child. Here’s How A Disgusting Parasitic #WORM Can Actually Help You Get #PREGNANT ---------------------------------- A shocking new study in the journal #Science has found that a disgusting parasitic worm may actually increase fertility in #women. After studying approximately 986 #Bolivian #women over the course of nine years, researchers discovered that those infected with the ascaris lumbricoides #roundworm gave #birth to about two more #children on average than those who were not. In fact, the study found that the roundworm actually leads to “earlier first births and shortened inter birth intervals.” As the #BBC reports, the researchers initially decided to conduct their study in #Bolivia solely because around 70 per cent of the country’s population has a parasitic infection. While speaking with the BBC, one of the study’s lead researchers, Professor Aaron Blackwell, explained that this specific roundworm infection may work by “altering women’s immune systems, such that they become more or less #friendly towards a #pregnancy.” Though it sounds pretty gross at first, Blackwell insists that the discovery has the potential to offer a huge positive impact on the way #fertility #drugs are created in the #future. Because the research is still in its early stages, however, the study’s leaders cannot yet recommend that women actually try to become infected with this parasitic roundworm just to increase fertility. Even more interesting, the study found that a #hookworm infection actually has the exact opposite effect on a #woman’s fertility of an ascaris lumbricoides roundworm. Throughout the study, researchers noted that women infected with hookworm had “delayed first pregnancy and extended interbirth intervals,” leading to less #children in general.
