Fenrir the World Enderl, The bringer of Ragnarok

In Norse Mythology, Fenrir is the Wolf that brings the Ragnarok. He is prophesised to kill Odin and eat the sun. In the god's attempt to circumvent their destruction (by chaining Fenrir with an unbreakable chain) Tyr gets his arm bitten off. Their deception of Fenrir and unfair treatment untimatley seals their fate. Fenrir stays chained with nothing but his hatred for company. Fenrir Eventually Breaks from his Chains and Gets his Justice.

Anyone that thinks that breeding dogs and running a kennel is easy.. look at this picture.

Most people get all silly and mention how cute.. My favorite is when I'm told that " You must be in HEAVEN!!😍😍".. This is HARD work, this is sometimes THANKLESS work, and at the worst of times it can be downright HEARTBREAKING work.

I will point out that this is my bed. Momma isn't the best at whelping her pups but we do this with each newborn litter. It's also 80° in my bedroom.. 2/3 weeks of hellocopter dad in a sauna setting.

This is how these dogs are cared for by anyone that is doing this the right way. A dog breeder puts everything they have, and everything they are into their dogs. We go 2+ weeks in a row getting no more than 2 hrs sleep.. REGULARLY. We don't leave often and we probably smell funny because we stepped in something but it's all OK.

We do it because we love our dogs. We do it to make the perfect companion for families and individuals that will provide the same protection and loyalty that our dogs do. Keeping the breeds health our upmost priority and creating our ideal version of the Breed is our art.

The weak can't do this, and if you lack vision just volunteer at the local shelter. We love what we do and go sleep at night with fulfillment. Sometimes, this is misconcieved as an easy lifestyle and that misconception is used to devalue our work.

Here is what I tell people wanting to devalue my work:

"If we are good at it, and take pride in our work then you won't be getting that $1000 sidewalk deal you seem to be expecting... It's a hobby and we love what we do, but so does a painter.. You don't hang photocopies on your wall and call it original Salvidor Dali' work.. You dont buy an unskilled artists work, Don't buy photocopy versions of my dogs."

Being a dog breeder is an absolute rollercoaster of a journey. There are so many ups and downs. So many times your life is turned around 180° then you plummet straight down..and up so fast that you forget to hold your hands over your head for the maximum affect. Sometimes, you're just holding on and hoping for the best and other times your so elated you can't help but yell!

A Hobby to the best of us, and as it should be. Done ethically, and with love for your animals this is an art. Its hard for most to understand and IS a lot of work but when we lay our heads down we are fulfilled and loved by many (They may be rather unintelligent, rude, slobbering wreckingballs but we love them)

The rewards are different for everyone . For me, its things like hearing the tales and antics of a family's best friend and protector. I take a lot of pride in producing the most intelligent, loyal, and loving companion for Family's. Regularly I have return customers and friends tell me about the best dog they ever had the privilege to call family.

A well thought out breeding program that's maintained is done to make the breed healthier. Unfortunately, sometimes things dont go perfectly. The hard truth is that we have to deal with death almost as frequently as life. Very rarely do all of these young pups make it. The healthiest and the strongest are the survivers.

From the BEST of the crop we create. From these pups we see as having the most potential we develop our vision of the perfect companion. I am a firm believer that dogs are what make a family whole, and I'm proud to be able to produce the key to that happiness.
