People on the internet have become so anti elitist that the line of thinking now is if you put serious effort into making a work of art and have some standards of taste for the art you interact with them you’re pretentious and gatekeeping

Why is it just like so impossible to find weird niche partners for like text based rp and stuff that aren’t like weird about it and like are fun to hang around in situations besides that. Like ugh.

Beyond this, consider how these professions might vary depending on who the customers are - nobles, or lower class. Are they good at their job or just scraping by? Do they work with lots of other people or on their own? City or village?

I made a poem ages ago and I want to share it! Sorry if it sucks! I called it Body, and I made it ages ago.

If my body is a temple

Let me dedicate it to a god of my choice

Let me decorate it’s grand halls

Excise the parts that feel not holy

And hold service in the ways that I deem

Fit it with pieces that shine and glimmer

But not to any other but me

If my body is a temple

It is not to any god I have worshiped

But the ground is sacred

And I am it’s only true master

So I should chose the form

Chose the features I deem grand

And make them sharp and clear

Paint the walls with grand designs

And hold its shape true to me

My body is a temple

But not dedicated to any god

No god is thus worthy

To gaze upon its halls

But its outside will shimmer

And worship will be heard

And soon all other gods will gaze upon

A temple made in the name of no god

Except that which holds the grounds

A few years ago, I went to an anatomy conference and they had a huge 3D printed vampire skull, and these thoughts have been on my mind ever since I saw the teeth up-close. 

The under-utilized potential for this bothers me a lot… like in movies… it’s just bite and done!

What happened to ritual shaving or elaborate skin engraving?

I know a lot of artists/writers follow me…. can you guys do Vampires a solid?

I Made a Human with Subraces For 5e

I’ve decided to post these somewhere, but I made a line up of Humans with subraces! I decided to put them up for any of you to use as you see fit! These were made for a world where two goddesses of the Sun and the Moon split the continent in ages past, and humans grew up separated by these lines ever since. If you’d like, please leave a critique! I’m trying to start working on DND content and other TTRPG content.  Humans;

Humans are vast and varied, but all will have the following traits:

Ability Score Increase You may choose two ability scores to increase by 1, You can't increase any ability score by more than 2 from your race

Age Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.

Alignment Humans tend toward no particular alignment. The best and the worst are found among them.

Size Humans vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Regardless of your position in that range, your size is Medium.

Speed Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages Because of their multiculturalism, all Humans speak the Central Dialect, as well as either eastern, Western, or Southern. The Central Dialect is the language of diplomacy and trade among humans, and is fairly common, although there are some areas that use only their regional tongue.

Stubborn As a human you may add a d4 to any attack roll or saving throws. You may do this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses of this feature on a long rest.

Subraces; Humans fall into one of three subraces: Lunar, Solar, or Coastal.

Coastal; Coastal humans tie their lineage back to a distant contenent over the seas, arriving here after the Lunar and Solar Humans had been established. Coastal humans are generally taught from youth some kind of trade relating to the water. Their general language is that of the Southern Dialect, which is the most divergent language from the others, being somewhat harsh and punctuated with simplicity in mind.

Ability Score Increase Your Dexterity score increases by 1

Natural Swimmers You gain a swimming speed of 25 feet, and can hold your breath for twice as long as a normal person

Solar; The Solar Humanoids are the primary race within the Empire of the Sun, but are found outside its borders as well. They tie their lineage back to when the Goddesses divided the continent into the two kingdoms that exist today, directly descended from the humans that lived on the eastern side of the divide. Solar Humans tend to be taller, and a fair bit more slender, with great pride in their heritage. Many still speak the now Antiquated Eastern Dialect, which was the basis of the modern central Dialect. Although Eastern is rarely still spoken, it's used prominently in the Empire's ceremonies, religious practices, and courts of law. Spoken much like Central, but more focused on very precise speech.

Ability Score Increase As a child of the Empire, you increase your Charisma Score by 1

Voice of the Empire When in combat you can use an action to rally your allies, giving yourself and allies 1d4+Carisma temporary HP

Lunar; Lunar humans are pale skinned, broad shouldered humanoids tracing their lineage back to the foundation of the Lunar kingdom and the division of the continent into two halves. They have a varied look, resulting from isolating winters separating these courageous humans into clans rather than one unified people. The Western dialect comes from these peoples, the strange flowing language being all but forgotten at this point, but still regularly used between the clans, and as the main dialect of the Lunar courts.

Ability score increase As a Lunar human, your constitution score increases by 1

Winter Walker You do not suffer from difficult terrain while on land, you also don't suffer any penalties from cold weather, or harsh cold.
