dying to know whats up with your nge girl tsukiko, even if im like a year late to the party

smiles so big… haven’t worked on her in a while, but the idea is that she’s an angel/human sort of equivalent to rei and kaworu made with a genetic clone of lilith’s tissue by SEELE, dubbed “eve” intended to experiment with direct human/angel hybridization. i played with idea of her having DNA from naoko akagi too, but never fully fleshed out that idea besides it being what attracted a young tsukiko to the MAGI computers, where ritsuko finds her. ritsuko would’ve been newer to nerv at the time of finding tsukiko, and a little less jaded. finds her messing with MAGI and such, but decides she’s just a kid, and she’ll take care of her until she can find her guardians, only to quickly realize there’s little to no records of this little girl existing at all, and although she does care for tsukiko in her own way, treats her a little bit like a science experiment as well, studying her and slowly uncovering the mystery of her being before she gets involved in her affair with gendo, in which she becomes much more distant and busy with work, upsetting tsukiko greatly. she’s lonely and angry and has violent tendencies she doesn’t really understand, wants to kill humanity, feels an innate desire to wipe out all of human life. she’s 14-15 like the other pilots, but is in a different class than them, due to some string pulling on ritsuko’s part, knowing that shinji’s class was all looked at as viable pilot options if needed, and still wants to keep tsukiko away from the attention at nerv as much as possible. she’s kind of like an anti kaworu in which she needs to be shown what there is to love about humanity, and an anti rei as well, as she feels so strongly and deeply and feels like she doesn’t owe anyone anything. self destructive, angry, expressive, and frankly volatile! she loves ritsuko, but their relationship is still strained, with ritsuko failing to be the mother tsukiko needed, sort of falling into the footsteps of her own mother unintentionally. i’d like to think she exists in the same timeline as mana kirishima from girlfriend of steel, as i think mana would be able to show tsukiko some kindness and genuine care she hadn’t seen from others- though when the reveal of her being a plant from an enemy company comes along, tsukiko would be furious. not necessarily that she worked for a company opposing nerv, she couldnt care less, frankly, but that she was lied to again. she values honesty and trust and truth…

there’s def a lot of holes in the writing here, but maybe someday i’ll come back to her! i like her design a lot still :p !! thank you for asking about her!!!
