Silly Celestials Eclipse after he gets most of his shit together. Also known as Soup Boy as we've been calling him in Discord servers

With the chunk of nanomachines he has Eclipse decided to give himself an updated appearance, with the main focus being softness. Not so insecure that he feels the need to be so sharp and dangerous looking anymore. He has paws just like his dad because they're comfy, and an actual cape now because it's cool. Eclipse didn't have loose ribbons before, but now his are the longest so he can fidget with them.

Mori: Just a chill dude that got shat on by his dad, and had to recover his memories from scratch, slowly having his nature rusted due to not feeling a need to express it. When he came back home, doe, he didn't have any difficulties coming back to his old self. He prefers to give everyone a chance.

Rowan: A guy that started off shy and naive, but was sick of life from all the unreasonable hatred he was getting, especially after something happened. He's a lot like Aubrey, acting all rough outside, but he's not a bad guy inside, shown very well to the few that he's close to. The difference is that he's truly rough to strangers, and not just trying to show off like Aubrey (no insults to her oof). He doesn't trust a lot of people, but tries to do so nonetheless.

Andrew: A guy that got enough of his shitty family along with all the legal bullshit and left to embrace life by the streets. Started off paranoid and lost, due to being a lot like his sister before the incident happened, but also like Aubrey, he adapted to the circumstances. Unlike the other two, he doesn't grow attached to anyone at all and tends to part ways quickly. To add up to that, he had grown to be unlikable, cold-blooded, and constantly distrustful of everything over the years. Mori and Rowan, especially the latter, however, understood why and decided to be friends with him nonetheless.

So we legit have the Pillar Men from JoJo and Sunburn^2 >:D

Forgor to add, Rowan in the AU of mine is not like, if not, completely opposite to Basil lmao. He's legit jacked.

Andrew is pretty built too, but it's a more natural thing from all his time city hopping and playing Yakuza irl

Aubrey and Basil’s designs from the runaway Siblings AU!!!

Basil has a lot of issues— he was there when Mari died, but after what Sunny’s parents did he was unintentionally gaslit by the entire town into believing he hallucinated the entire thing.

He’s a hypochondriac and always feels cold— he wears heavy baggy coats almost 25/7, even in warm weather, though Polly managed to convince him to at least wear lighter sweaters in the summer to avoid heatstroke.

He spent some time in a mental hospital when he was younger, and sees a therapist regularly.

The scar is from an incident with some bullies.

Aubrey and the scooter gang are not actually the bullies. The scooter gang are friends with Aubrey, but uninvolved with Basil. Aubrey however has appointed herself Basil’s bodyguard, and they spend a lot of time together when she’s not sick. Her mom refuses to get her vaccinated, so she ends up bedridden a lot.

Thought more about the lil fairytale curse au and so far only got some for Sunny, Mari, and Omori (the usual pls i love the siblings a lot).

The AU is still set in modern world but fantasy stuff is added. Honestly need to brush up on my fairytales too.

Sunny, Mari, and Omori are siblings! Sunny and Omori are twins. Though they got separated when an Event happened which caused the curses.

Also thinking about how in this AU, it's similar with Kitsune Omori AU where the three moved to Faraway Town much later. So basically the siblings haven't met the others when they all got cursed. (Rethinking if everyone will have curses or some won't though)

Sunny found himself in a forest somewhere in the city with Sleeping Beauty curse. Basically, he is now always listless and sleepy, found and taken care by 3 fairies. Sunny's curse let's him create and have adventures in his own lil dreamworld but sleep too deeply and he won't ever wake up anymore unless the curse is broken.

Abbi is always able to wake him up before that though, but cuz of the curse trying to take effect, the 3 always gotta be nearby otherwise Sunny will just fall asleep anywhere. He misses his siblings too and his curse allows him to visit them through dreams if they all fell asleep around the same time! One reason why he doesn't seem to want to leave the forest and also since he doesn't know where Mari and Omori are.

Omori found himself under water with the Little Mermaid curse. He was found by Humphrey and BYC, they're the ones that helped him get accustomed to life underwater. Omori can still turn into a human when on land but there's just two problems.

He loses his voice, not as huge of a problem, and each step he takes is painful, which is a very big problem (referencing the og tragic story) So Omori just sticks to the water while trying to figure out a way to find his siblings.

Mari found herself at the hangout spot's lake as a swan! Mewo was somehow with her and she can even understand her now too, although only when she's a swan. Mari has the Swan Lake curse, just like in the story, she turns into a human only when the moon's reflection hits the water of the lake and turns back as a swan when the reflection vanishes.

Mari isn't stuck in one lake though, if she moves to another lake then that lake will be the new basis for the curse's effect! She's basically the only one of the three that actively moves around with Mewo following behind her. She'll fly about as a swan and find a lake to settle on and rest then continue her search at night again as a human.

A lil more info on Helios and his world since I don't think I've shared much here. Helios' Moon (Selene) is not an absolute piece of shit like in canon. They're struggling, and angry, and work themselves too hard trying to fix Eos (Sun), but they don't blame Helios for anything. Selene's situation is different than New Moon's, they kept the memories but tearing out the killcode resulted in them not being a perfect back-up. They don't have the same strengths, likes, etc of Moon which does not help with Eos' repair. Helios is good friends with the main dimension celestial family, but not considered part of it. Mainly because... he already has his own family, and in Silly Celestials Lunar and the others already have their own Eclipse. Would be weird to replace them, and I'm brainstorming ways to make their dimensions even more different in a funky way. They're very good friends though! Friends who aren't their siblings are very important for Eclipse's.

Reversal of Fate (It is Never Easy) pt 8

Chapter Title: Seen Fate, Rejected Fate

Chapter Warnings: Mentions of death, mentions of body possession, panic state of mind, Lavender being in a bad mental state as they do. They are just not having a good day at all.

Chapter Summary: Fate does not lay quietly when it is set. It will fight one that wishes to challenge it. If you have the strength and will to do so.

It was a mantra that throbbed and shrieked alongside the burning of insides and the creaking shrieking of joints being tugged and pulled out of place, but not, because it was only the sensation as they say burning orange behind their ‘eyes’. They couldn’t think straight and just knew they needed to get away from him who would tell the King who would realize they were not empty and they had failed and their siblings would suffer for it. 

The sensation of falling registered just enough for them to curl completely around Basil sibling as they tipped and fell painfully onto roots and rock and dirt. Remaining there shivering and curled around the distressed chirping body of their sibling who did not know what was going on only that their bigger sibling was hurt and sad and there was danger.

Danger.

Oh, the sweet taint of Her was still so strong and the orange a haze in the very air. Something about this was wrong, but not that it was not meant to be, but that if it stayed something Horrible would happen. There, curled around Basil sibling and trying to remember how to move they suddenly Saw. They saw this sibling alone, wandering this place, but it was not Basil sibling. No, it was Sibling as they were in the dark and cold and safety of the void. Watched as a beast bloated and dripping with infection tore into their sibling, watched the blow that caved in their mask, the infection grasping onto their tiny and frail shade and devoured it. Watched the pus slither and ooze into the shell of this sibling. Watched and knew as Little Ghost, the one who had wandered and fought, and devoured a God for a them that was Sealed, found this gone sibling taken over and fought and let them rest.

Something in them knew.

This was the fate of Basil sibling. Even if they left, if they forbade them to ever roam this way again. Something would lead them here with their satchel of herbs and remedies, and their little nail more to cut a path in the thick of the wilds than to fight, would come somehow and die. She would take this sibling from them, would take so many of their siblings from them. Because that is all She wanted. To take and take that which was taken from Her, with no regard for those that had no say in what had happened. Their siblings did not ask for this, for Her hatred and the pain they would endure if this infection spread. They did not deserve to suffer because She had been forgotten.

They would not lose another sibling because of this FEUD. 

The chime of the rings that had always whirled and clicked in their chest since they had found themself out of sync with all they knew rang. Loud and echoing and something about it made them still and decide and remember. Remember the whispered questions of if they would accept one of their heart to be taken again.

They Refused.

Something made them grasp within their mind a thread weaving and winding around the rings in their chest. Saw all the ways dear Basil Sibling was meant to die from this infected area as they held it. Saw it and Rejected it.

The thread snapped and they knew nothing but pain.

It was as if they were Sealed again, full of infection and Her rage shrieking and clawing at the very void that made them whole. Burning and biting and changing them, corrupting them with the horrible horrible light that seethed and spit at the very essence of their being. It would drown their shadow out and leave nothing but orange tinted light to move and be used as She saw fit. If it won…

It couldn’t win.

They clawed and fought the sensation as they were meant to when they had been Sealed. To fight eternally against Her within the domain of their void and soul. Yet, they did not fight to contain. No, they fought and ripped and devoured that horrible light. Smothered it in the dark of their void where all light was destined to die, where all things were destined to return when the world stopped and all lights were gone. The cold of Void smothering the burning heat of that light, and for a brief brief moment they felt Her pause in the rage and will that had fueled the infection. For a brief moment they were the one that She feared as the hazy orange tint and overly sweet smell of infection grew fainter and fainter. Then with a sigh only they likely heard, it was if it never was in this patch of wild.

It was silent save the sounds of Basil sibling whispering in the link of them all SiblinghurtSiblingstaySiblingwakeup.

They ached in void and shell. The pain such they barely could think and just slowly, slowly curled even more around their Sibling and purred to show they were there. Such pain should have had void painting and staining everything around them. Poisoning the wild with the blackness of their weakening shade. Yet, there was no such wounds, just the aches of their body and the ever clinking chime of the rings in their chest marking time with each gentle tink.

How they got home was a haze of sensations and Basil Sibling leading and pleading with them to follow and be okay. They barely registered the worried babble of words from Poppy family as she fretted and helped move them into the nest that had just stayed since that first night she had led all of them here. Barely moved once laying curled and buried under blankets and pillows and the chirping worried bodies of precious siblings who for the moment were all safe, for the moment would not be taken by the burning orange light.

For a moment they let themselves just exist.

They knew deep down what they did, that the fact Knight Hegemol had seen them and been there, would change things. Knew as the panic that roiled and waited patiently for them to be able to feel it properly again, that they had to prepare, hide or run, or be ready to fight when the King took notice. When the King finds out the vessel they waited for was a failure, had left the Abyss without being told. A King that would now know that there were other vessels, others who would also fail. They had to prepare, to protect their siblings from the condemnation of a King they had never known that they still loved and feared, and wanted to make proud, but could never do so. 

So certain they were that the King they saw as wise and to follow, that they had failed would see them and know. Know exactly what they were and would turn away. They knew they would be hurt, they just had to make certain their siblings would not be hurt as well by the King they had wanted to please, so so much when they tried to be a Pure Vessel.

They had to act now, to protect their siblings from each light that had harmed them in those lives they lived and repeated so long ago.

the general premise of this AU is an ageswap between mari/hero and sunny/kel. on the day of mari and sunny's recital, aubrey witnesses a fight between the siblings and sunny's accidental death. sunny's cause of death and aubrey's choice of cover-up are the same as canon. 

the ships in this AU are sunkel, heromari, and photobomb. sunny and kel started dating when they were ~13, though they never revealed their relationship to the kids. hero and mari have unresolved feelings that were only starting to be explored before sunny's death. 

shortly after sunny's death, mari finds herself in sunny's iteration of headspace. like canon, sunny has been exploring headspace since he was very young. everyone's awareness of it varies, but the only ones who know the full extent of its existence is mari and kel. headspace in this AU is based on how i imagine it was in canon before mari's death (ie everyone having purple hair in honor of her, mari and basil not wearing pajamas etc) but with creative liberties due to sunny having longer to expand it and mari's eventual influence. it's important to note mari is not crafting headspace to match what she knows of sunny's version. for reasons that have yet to be revealed, headspace did not have a "true reset" when a new dreamer entered it, which means it is still the very same one sunny would explore.

in headspace, mari takes over her dream world counterpart's role as the save point and, in her eyes, the perfect little sister. eventually, she completely forgets why she found herself in headspace in the first place and what she had been looking for. since her exploration of headspace is limited to her picnic blanket, mari asks sunny's party to help her with her problem. but after a particularly nasty battle, a horrified mari convinces sunny to watch over the picnics instead so he can never get hurt again. 

now leader, mari explores headspace with aubrey, hero, and kel. but each time the party succeeds in their mission, aubrey remembers the truth. she is not banished to black space, but outright erased to the best of mari's ability with her finite control over headspace. as if she had never existed, what is left of aubrey is now the entity referred to as stranger and basil takes the open spot in the party. all the while, an odd girl known as omori wanders the dream world. even odder, she is looking for the very same thing that mari is.
