perhaps unpopular opinion: i don't like snork's voice in the 90s moomin (english dub). it does not fit his character at all, 90s snork's voice sounds like he would be a lovable oaf or something. chance perdomo will do snork's character justice no doubt.

Not gonna lie- I also heavily agree with that. XD I’m personally just not that big of a fan of the English dub, like it’s passable but I just can’t get over how weird the voices for some of the kids are. The adult characters are pretty well casted but uh- that’s really it for it. I was completely caught off guard when I first heard Snork, his voice was just so weird to me. But yeah, I saw some clips of Chance and his voice sounds really nice! I’m sure he’ll do a great job and it makes me even more excited to see Snork! 🥰🤩💖

I’ve been thinking about this ever since Season 2 ended. Moomintroll in Season 2 holding Snorkmaiden’s paws too tightly that he accidentally hurts her. Showing that he’s trying to hold onto something that doesn’t work and is technically hurting them both. Which leads me to believe since Snufkin and Moomintroll also had a close up handhold in Season 2 and their switching of places Moomintroll is gonna learn how to “love with an open hand”. Specifically, love Snufkin with an open hand. Basically understanding that even when he has let Snufkin go sometimes he can still love him the same. And not hurt his paw by holding on too tight like he did with Snorkmaiden. (And I also feel like it’d be a good add on to the “possession isn’t the same as love” thing they also hinted at between Snufkin and Moomintroll in Season 2.) I’m just on a Season 3 theory high right now okay... TvT

Alright but like- If something similar like this actually happens in Season 3 then I will scream... also that I CALLED IT FIRST XD

Okay look I know that’s still a long ass time for a drawing, BUT THAT’S LITERALLY FAST FOR ME SOOOOO... I’M PROUD! Seriously if I drew this on my computer this whole thing would’ve taken two weeks. Pen pressure is my savior.

Okay I know two days is still pretty long for this simple of a drawing, but you know what that is fast for me so... I be proud of myself. Hopefully this means I’ll finally be posting more often now. Speaking of which sorry I’m haven’t done much on here in awhile, I mostly use Instagram so sometimes I just go off the deep end on tumblr for a bit. I remember that I still have two asks in my inbox that I need to answer... and haven’t yet cause I keep putting them off... 😅 So look out for that too! Also, holy shit that is the best Moomintroll I have ever drawn what the heck?! AND HE WAS SO EASY TO DRAW THIS TIME, HOW?!

What are your thoughts on Stinky? Personally, I want to punch him in the face, I just can't get over the episode where he traps Ninny in a cave to try and turn her invisible again (although, the Moomin franchise needs some conflict every now and then).

Now here’s the thing- If you’re specifically talking about only 90s Stinky then I completely agree with you. The amount of times he committed attempted child murder in that show is absolutely unacceptable. Also he’s just plain annoying. I swear they just kept adding him in unnecessary places in some episodes and it drives me insane. LIKE HE DID NOT NEED TO BE IN SOME EPISODES, WHY DID YOU PUT HIM IN?! However if you are talking about any of the other adaptations of Stinky (70s and original comic version)... I think he’s okay. ^^ In the 70s anime he doesn’t seem mean at all, in fact he’s pretty nice, he just seems a bit lonely. And from the parts I’ve read of him in the comics he’s actually kinda funny. He’s still an ass but a fun one, if that makes sense. The 90s version really just turned up his asshole meter to 1000. That’s why I’m praying that in the 2019 series they base Stinky more off of his comic self then the 90s version. I have a feeling they’re most likely gonna do that but we’ll have to see in a year.
