I made this after finishing the Spiderman: Octo-Girl, recommended by my favorite person @moonlightcrusader 🩷 Since I’m a huge manga reader and have many unfinished volumes that need to be collected, she gave me this manga and I fell in love. The characters are so cute, the dynamic is adorable and has funny moments. Highly recommend you give it a read! You can also thank her for getting me into Spiderman and loving Doctor Octavius. 🥰

dang it! someone sent an ask and I was gonna answer it today but now its not in my inbox anymore!! or my drafts!! :(( so hopefully i can answer it best to my memory. I'm so sorry op!

The user asked somewhere along the lines if otto was transported to a different universe where that otto has passed/died, would this otto rebuild his life, find a new rosie...what would he do?

I think personally, it would take Otto a while to find his purpose again. He would probably lay low; probably still ashamed of his actuators and probably try to live a normal life...poor thing. I'm not sure what he would try to do? Coffee shop? A professor? 🤔

I also think that he would hold off of science for a while too. I remember seeing a post on tumblr about how he ran away when Electro first started attacking in NWH because he didnt want his inhibitor chip to fry again and my heart broke. I thought it was just an easy way to get Otto out of the fight but that actually makes so much freakin sense. This man has been in control for like an hour or two; and he doesnt want to lose that.

I think in terms of finding in love again, imo, I don't think Otto would remarry or try to find another Rosie🥺Or at least if he would- it would be a very very long time. That was his college sweetheart; his partner in crime, his supporter, he loved his work as much as her..and like the spider-man 2 novelization said "and not necessarily in that order."

But those are just my headcannons🥺

For otto, it was at least a few days. But for peter, that was 17 years of grieving a man he idolized and cared about. 17 years probably replaying how everything could have been different if the fusion reactor never went off, if Rosie never died, or if Otto didnt have to sacrifice himself to save Peter, Mj and New York.

That must have haunted Peter so much...maybe left a bitter feeling in his stomach. Hes alive, the days are moving, but Otto is dead. His wife was dead. Sure, he only knew Otto personally for a few days. But Otto let him stay for dinner. Gave love advice. If we are going off the novels, let Peter take his and Rosie's picture and regretted not having any children...

I wondered what Otto thought seeing Peter? Obviously he was relieved seeing HIS peter again. All grown up. Peter was practically the same age as Otto was now (give or take, early 40s or late 30s) i just- skdndnc im so curious if alot of stuff changed when Peter 2 went back to his universe....
