m: “Mearcstapa” - Crack-up, Fleet Foxes (great sound. i love FF and the mixing of the instrumentals and Robin Pecknold’s vocals. it makes the song feel very introspective and it’s something i always love about their music. the harpsicord is a really beautiful and standout addition that i think really makes the whole song)

o: “On” - On EP, Aphex Twin (i fuck hard w AT. i love his experimental electronic sound. he always brings something new and unique to each record. ive had a lot of fun picking his songs apart)

o: “Oh, So What?” - Space Metal, @mullywhizz (so my boy Jimmy here? yeah, turns out he’s a crazy talented musician. this is probably my fave of his songs, tied with “Eclipse” and “Ghost House Party You’re Not Invited To” (check the UT sampling on the last one v nice). His songs always go hard with the cerebral metal and experimental shit and listening to them kinda makes you feel out of your head. like disembodied. check him out on spotify!)

n: “Nude” - In Rainbows (Side A), Radiohead (one of my fave artists of all time. This is my favorite album and Nude is one of my fave songs on it. It has this beautifully distant quality to the sound ahhh I just love Radiohead)

s: “Strange Fruit” - Strange Fruit LP, Billie Holiday (another of my favorite musicians of all time. the lyrics encapsulate such melocholic horror and the softness of her voice creates beautiful contrast. instrumentals leave you with this terrible feeling of uneasiness — which makes sense because the song is about lynching)

a: “ATTENTION” - BALLADS 1, Joji (so i been fuckin w papa franku for years. i’m so proud of him for following his musical dreams. his sound is beautiful, almost underwater vibe. His tracks always feature such unique and well mixed instrumentals — his voice and the lyrics are just the cherry on top of his talent sundae)

b: “BUTTERFLY EFFECT” - ASTROWORLD, Travis Scott (probably one of my fave songs on my favorite Travis record. The production is fantastic, almost robotic at time. His flow is on point and the beat is just 👌🏻)

r: “Rock ‘N’ Roll Suicide” - The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, David Bowie (this is my fave bowie album hands down. moonage daydream is my fave track on it but this is a close second. he always sings with such emotion and his vocals really shine through here, not to mention those silent beats in the beginning and the fucking lyrics???? DB is my boy)
