The Blaze Vampire?

SPOILERS FOR PAST LIFE

(Ignore my messy handwriting I did that for myself)

So new Life series episode today and... lets just say Tango didn't feel like Tango.

Mumbo subbed in for Mr Tek today and lets just say it was hilarious.

To explain my reaction I actually watched Scott today instead of Tango first like I usually do, and as soon as Scott interacting with "Tango" I immediately knew it wasn't him just with the first 3 words. I started dying of laughter immediately.

I've gotten so used to Tango's voice as someone who watches his streams so seeing his skin I'm so used to and his voice just- not being his voice- like they Britishified Tango-

It was great so I had to draw what I thought "Tango" would look like

def gonna change but here's the basic

Mumbo for me is a vampire. So I just made Tango's fangs sharper and ears bigger and pointer. Tango's hair is a bit messy cause well- One Tango isn't used to have normal hair again so he didn't really brush it last episode- and two Mumbo messes with his hair.

Mumbo hair is curly and I wanted to make Tango's hair curly but gave up half way through trying so-

Anyway this episode was really fun!

I'm too tired to give out my rant/opinion but to give it short,

I could tell these guys were having fun with each other like usual and that made me happy

"Again and Again"

Thing I did last night that I really don't like- Alight Motion is genuinely so hard to use as someone who has used Capcut for most of their life as well as double hell on a tablet-

The spinning looks bad in some places, I wanted to do text but decided against it because I didn't want my tablet to just stop working-, and there were supposed to be more art but as soon I finished the spinning I gave up- so ya- but here's just something to post I guess

I will be watching Skizz's POV. I have heard people saying you shouldn't. But those people also tell Skizz to fire his mods which is illegal in Arizona to fire people for their views (it is also illegal here)

New designs of the Past?

Spoilers for the new life series! As I am giving my opinion and showing designs! So you have been warned

Soooooooo- Past Life am I right?

I'll start with the new designs before I say my thoughts

Since this is past life and some people actually switched their skins, thought I would lean towards that.

Those who have read my past post know Tango's hair wasn't always fire. It actually was normal hair before he had that rage moment in Last Life where his hair turned fully fire. So since this is past life, I made his hair normal, for now of course. As well as his eyes as his eyes only turned red cause of red stone (and he said he hadn't joined during beta) Not much changed with him cause his skin has never really changed from what I've seen in his past vids.

New life series so... New Scott hair style! Bun Scott, bun Scott, bun Scott!! I've always wanted to do a bun and he does kinda have one in Secret life but I call it a small pony tail. So he finally has a bun and braids again! And he has the hoodie from his old skin cause I thought why not. That is pretty much all that changed with him, I couldn't think of much.

Pearl actually did change her skin so hers was easy. Well- Kinda- I hated drawing her hair- Those who watch the episode I don't need to explain much but I kept her wolf aspects. I actually thought of drawing her as moth cause what I used to draw her as but went against it, who knows maybe I'll change it later on.

Grian! Grian is a big one. Instead of going to the past he has gained more and more watcher features. Now covering his extra eyes with his ear wings instead of a mask like he did in Secret and Wild life (cause It was destoryed by Joel) I'll have to see how the seasons go but I do want to add more to him.

Etho! We love Etho. Only thing that changed about him is his right scarred eye. It is fully red, much like Tango, because he uses redstone. So it has gotten to that point yet (he hasn't changed much from years ago-)

These aren't everyone cause I couldn't draw them all in one day. And these aren't finalize designs either! As time goes one their designs will change as well! which I'm sure is what they will do as well.

Anyway, now for my opinion

Last chance to dodge spoilers so don't read if you really don't want spoilers!

As of the episodes, I LOVED them.

I don't think I mentioned this, but this is my first life series I have been here for. I joined in the beginning of the year, like late January, and started with Double life (which is why it's my favorite)

I've always known situations that happened, who died first, and who won.

Going into this blind and not knowing who will win or die is... nerve racking, it really is! But I am so excited to go on this journey.

The mechanic this season was guessable in the teaser but I did not expect it to be so funny! Everyone basically relearning how to play the game is amazing, and Etho and Bdubs were on fire this episode, we love those old men.

The no sprint had many funny moments. The gluten bros, or Impy and Tango, not knowing how to farm and trying to become a bread business was hilarious especially Bdubs getting on Tango nerves about it. And overall everything was hilarious.

Now for teams.

My main POV's are Tango, Impy, Skizz, and Scott.

I have not watched Impy yet but I have watched the other three.

And oh guys... I'm so happy.

There's so many teams this season that I just never knew I needed and now that they're hear I'm mad at myself for never asking for them.

I'm always up for a Impy and Tango team up, but to team up with the red king himself Ren Diggity Dog? Sign me up! I was genuinely so happy and jumped for joy when they asked Ren to join. It's such a group I never expected cause their personalities are so different but that is what makes them fun.

Scott and Etho? once again, a team up I never knew I just needed. I always asked for Joel and Scott but Etho and Scott are so much better! Etho which his old Minecraft knowledge, and Scott with his good PVP and building skills, it's perfect! Mix that with Scar and Bdubs, and duo I wanted again since Limited Life, and I am feed for a good few weeks.

And Skizz and Jimmy. How have I NOT begged for these two? It's perfect! They both have their... interesting ways... of playing Minecraft (nice way of saying they're not good-) and then mixed with Joel and Bigb? It's perfect once again! Jim and Skizz match with their personalities perfectly, Joel is as chaotic as Skizz, and I loved Bigb's and Skizz's team up in Secret Life and always wanted that again.

And then of course there's Grian, Gem, and Pearl.

Finally get an official Gem and Pearl team up (no I don't count Secret Life) and Grian along side them? It's great! And I know it will be chaotic.

And finally Martyn and Cleo, a team up I have been BEGGING for since Double Life. I love divorce quartet but was always sad Martyn and Cleo never fully teamed up. Their personalities match so well especially their humor and it's great to see.

Overall the team ups are great. While I wouldn't mind repeating ones, I'm glad we got some new ones. And I hope these stay! finger crossed!

Sad Lizzie and Mumbo aren't but I can understand why.

And like always and what makes me love the Life Series. I can tell they are all having fun playing this game together and I'm excited to see where it takes them.

Some of my favorite bits

Skizz lying to Gem, Grian, and Pearl saying he's gonna be a jerk and Gem in her sick voice says "You're gonna be a jerk" and her voices cracks half way through and Skizz immediately turns into a dad and says "aww... Gem.."

Tango and Bdubs butting heads the entire episode cause Tango bragged about how much wheat he had and then asked Etho how to plant crops and Bdubs was just not letting up-

Overall Etho becoming such a nerd and old man in this episode. I can tell from his voice he was genuinely so happy and it made me smile alot.

Anytime someone disappeared on another persons screen.

Scott's reaction to the porkchops not stacking

Also his reaction to the crafting situation

And finally his "...what is that..." when he saw something weird in the distant- he sounded genuinely so confused-

Anytime Scott and Etho interacting was fun. The moment I laughed the most is when Etho gets stuck on the fence post and is begging Scott to help him.

We had a Flower husband moment (miss them)

And a Rancher moment (miss them too)

Overall I am so excited for this new season and to see how everything goes and what designs I can come up with!

I know I said I would calm down on the HTTYD art, but I wanted to draw my Woolly Howl so badly- So I did-

But I'll most likely take a break from this tomorrow, as it has been hinted the new Life Series is coming out that day. So I'll start focusing on Set in the Skies and Life Series more.

Anway, this is my Woolly Howl, Snowstorm, and her rider Yuki. Ya she's a titan- I know I have a lot of titans I just think a lot of them look cool and I like the Woolly Howl titan form.

Your Idol

Okay so- I'm here to admit-

I have actually not seen this movie yet-

Not cause I hate it quite the opposite (Well I don't like how it has taken my fyp-) but I think it's a cool looking movie. Def not my type of movie to be honest, but the animation style is cool and I will, hopefully-, check it out at some point.

But I saw the video for Your Idol and one, really liked the movements, the dance was so well done and choreographed, and two- this one pose just spoke to me- and I thought it fit Scott, don't ask me why- I just did- I also don't draw Scott looking mischievous enough so I just needed to.

So ya, started this at like... 1 am- and finished it this morning. Shading and background could be better admittedly but- eh- is what it is.

Also hair down Scott! Don't get used to it cause it was a pain to draw-

The Light Fury new look?

Okay last HTTYD post for a bit I promise-

I am working on a limited life thing that will be probably release tomorrow or the day after.

But meet starlight!

Now- call me a fake fan all you want- I actually like HTTYD 3 and the light fury design-

But I do think it is a bit plain, so I wanted to rework some things. I might redo it in the future but I do like how it turned out in the end.

As well as My Viking OC which owns a Light Fury, Dawn! Who is albino!

A Villain to his Own

"Dragons have always been more of an interest to me than humans. They have more sense of the world and what they do than humans ever could."

Yesterday I learned Valka was originally going to be the villain in HTTYD 2 and I am a little bummed they didn't! The "I hate dragons" villain is used too much. Having one who loves dragons as much as the main characters but hate humans, would have been so cool!

So I made a villain based on that idea. And I gave him a Skrill cause they would probably be the most loyal to the ones that treat them with respect.

Meet Rai the Skrill and Wren.

Rai is a dragon I also have in SOD!

Don't worry I haven't given up on Minecraft, I'm working on more designs for Set in the Skies as well as something for Limited life! I've just wanted to draw HTTYD a bit-

Life Series design headcanons (pt.1)

Anyone got headcanon designs?? I do!

Interested to hear them?? No? to bad *throws them*

Grian:

 obviously the well known one. Grian is a peregrine falcon and has bird feet/paws. But, starting in secret life, Grian starts wearing a plague doctor mask. Idk why- I just think as time goes on and his watcher side gets shown more, to hide his extra eyes on his face he wears a plague doctor mask. 

One of the shortest next to Bdubs in height. Wings on back and ears are bigger than his body and head. He has eyes on his ear wings and back wings as well. Waffle-colored messy hair. 

He has a lot of body movement and shows emotions with his body. But his wings on his back will stay completely still (they’re more active in Hermitcraft, cause they’re actually heavier in the Life Series) 

Scar:

 Scar is a half cat- because I said so- he’s got a short stubby tail, cat legs, cat ears, and a little cat nose. He has cat-like eyes. They dilate and expand like a cat does when he sees someone or something he likes or before he starts a fight. He also has the third eyelid- his arms are covered with scars and so is his body. His face is a little bit covered with scars. He also has messy hair, shortest in 3rd life and longest in secret (in the end he cuts it before Wild Life) 

Meets the same height as Etho. He has a cane that he uses to help him walk (has a limp) but it also holds a small sword that he uses as a last ditch effort if he doesn’t have another sword. It’s unlikely he will make eye contact with you- not because he’s nervous or shy, because he’s half of the time zoning out in his own world. 

Scott:

 Scott is a unicorn. In 3rd life he has a horn, which he loses after Ren cuts it off. It grows back in Wild Life (it’s small tho)

He has many different hair styles throughout the series. In 3rd life he had a tied back ponytail, in Last Life he has his hair style from Empires (which is like a elsa braid) Which is also cut by Ren before his (Ren’s) final death. (which he ties back into two braids and puts it on the side of his head in Empires 2) which in double life he just puts into a small braid. Which- is also cut off but by Joel this time. In Limited Life he has short fluffy hair. Then in Secret Life he has a small bun in the back. And finally in Wild Life he gets his ponytail back but it’s pulled up instead of down this time. (this might change in the next life series it just depends what hair style I can come up with-)

He has horse legs. He only shows them however in Limited Life and Wild Life. 

He meets the same height as Skizz and is only an inch shorter than Jimmy. He has a poppy flower ring he got from Jimmy in 3rd life, which is slightly broken as of wild life and the red is faded. But you will not see this ring on the same finger ever, he’s always playing and messing with it.

He also has 6 charms on his belt. A flower charm that is broken, a wolf charm that has 2 sides (the other side is a zombie wolf), a pufferfish charm, a star charm, and an eye charm.

He also moves a lot much like Grian but he’s more of a talker with his arms. He also does kick- yes he has broken ribs by doing that-  

Jimmy:

 Jimmy is obviously half canary. Beginning in 3rd life where after he dies from the tnt trap, his second death, he starts to grow small canary wings on his back and his ears started to get pointy and “feathery” (idk how to explain it) And after that every time he dies first his wings grow bigger and his ears turn more and more into wings. Limited Life is when his wings are bigger and his ears turned fully into wings.  His hair stays the same messy dirty blonde- 

He is only an inch taller than Skizz but they pretty much meet in equal height. He had a matching ring with Scott but lost it after his final death in 3rd life. Tied to his right wrist is a blue bandana, which he got for Double Life, Tango has a matching one. (which he, Tango, still wears on his neck) he wears his well known blue sweater, white t-shirt, and black pants. But in 3rd and Last Life he wears a captain america jacket. 

Martyn:

 Martyn is a dragon. Reason being, while yes dragons usually have rivalries with kings, they are also known to be the most loyal with people who have treated the right. And with the whole speech he gave to Ren before you know- cuttingoffhishead- I thought it was perfect. 

He has pointy ears, small dragon wings, dragon horns, and a dragon tail.

His horns and ears are their smallest in 3rd life. As most and more time goes on (and he becomes more and more of a listener) his horns grow a bit and so do his ears. His ears almost look like half elf ears from dnd in 3rd life. Small and pointy but not all that noticeable. In wild life they now look like the large pointy ears they are now. His wings pretty much stay the same. His hair is long. He wears it in a low ponytail in 3rd life, he wears it down in last and double life, and in a braid Limited life. No one knows why, but after Limited he cut it to the normal length it is now. He still has a scars body scars from past series, none noticeable unless he took off his shirt (the watchers did this to remind him of his failures) and one on his eye he got after last life 

He is the same height as Lizzie. I don’t really know how to describe his outfits- just look at his skins- 

He likes headbutting people he likes to show affection. And he has done it many times to Ren. He uses his wings to protect himself from damage, it’s not as effective as a shield but it’s still something. Smoke does sometimes come out of his nose when he is mad.

Ren:

Ren is a dog, obviously, he is an african wild dog! He has big ears, a small tail that is fully white with a bit of red fur. 

He has long hair. Unlike Scott he only wears it in two ways, hair down and hair up. Before his red life in 3rd life, he had his hair up in a high ponytail, that he then had it down for the rest of his red life. He wears it up for most of the other life series, other than wild where he wears it down after combining with Martyn (there is no other way to put that-) 

He is an inch or so taller than Skizz. He usually wears a red flannel with black straps. In 3rd life he wore a fancier outfit and a long red cape and Last life he wore a purple cloak with a green ring around it. 

Much like a dog, he does wag his tail when happy. He’s a bit embarrassed by it but- he can’t help it. Also this man is the KING of puppy eyes! Don’t try him! If you hurt his feelings he will give you the puppy eyes. 

Etho:

Etho is a tiger! A white tiger! Reasons being, he likes cats more than dogs and what is the most sneaky wild cat? Tigers! He has pure white hair, with a bit of black stripes in the tips, with small tiger ears poking out. He has his hair pulled back into a high ponytail. He has a small scar on his right eye, which is red. He has a cropped jacket with a very fluffy collar. He has the Canadian flag sewn into the left shoulder of the jacket. A mask that covers his mouth completely. And a long tiger tail.  

He is the same height as Scott. For his outfit choices, he only changed it two times. The first time was in 3rd life, where he placed a small cape underneath his collar that had the dogwarts flag colors. And he wears a tie in limited life to match his teammates. 

He shows a lot of emotions with his tail, more than he knows. He also lays his tail on the floor a lot, and a lot- I mean a lot of people step on his tail. It has gotten to the point he doesn’t care as much anymore but he definitely still flinches when someone steps on it. 

Skizzleman:

Skizz is an angel! He has two very large wings. His left wing is completely destroyed from the desert explosion in 3rd life as he was close to it and was also trying to cover Impulse. He has two smaller wings as his ears. He has blackish-brown hair that gains a bit of white in Limited life (why? Idk ageing I guess) He has his well known suit with the ripped off sleeves of course that show his arm scars (which he got from other series before the life series as well as some from 3rd life) he gets a scar on the back of his neck after limited life (as the watchers kept it there, sorta in a mocking way, since they hate how he ended his life to give time to his teammates, he wears it with pride tho)

He is the same height as Scott. In 3rd life he has the purple infection on his wings and arms, purple eyes, and a cloak with the dogwarts flag colors on it. In last life, in his red life, his hair has bits of red at the tips (I am not making his entire head red-) as well as some red on his wings. Nothing much changes in Limited Life. In Secret life he changes into a white and pink suit that has a heart on the left side of his chest and on the back (matching with Bigb and Tango) that gets more and more dirty throughout the episodes. In wild life he doesn’t change much, other than he has a chain on his pants that he puts a bird and a bat keychain on (for the spanners) he has a tattooed ring on his finger. And 3 bracelets, all made by Gem. (One bracelet is for Impulse, one for Tango, and one for Gem. Tango, Impulse, and Gem have matching.) 

Skizz, like said, has wings and you will never forget he does. Not only cause they're huge but also because he's not careful with them. Grian can keep his still even when he's angry, but Skizz- Impulse has the bruises to show how much he regrets standing by Skizz's wings when Skizz is angry-  and Skizz does not at all mean to do it on purpose it's a completely accident and he always apologizes after. But he just never learned how to keep them still. And, while he feels bad every time he accidentally hits someone, he doesn't care to learn how- which doesn't help him with pvp he always trips on his own wings or smacks himself with them during fights.

He likes showing his emotions in strange ways. Of course with his classic Skizz noises but also his wings. Especially when he's scared. He flaps his wings to make himself look bigger, as if he's not a 6 foot giant, but it's like how some birds do in the wild. And, Impulse will never admit this, but he also does the same thing (has tiny wings)

And for something sweet, he will wrap his wings around his friends when he sees they're feeling down cause they're really soft and Tango hatttttesss it. Not that he doesn't appreciate it he does actually appreciate it but considering Skizz is so much taller than Tango his wing pretty much just absorbs him- And Skizz will sometimes purposely cover him-

Fandom designs

Rant incoming!

Hi! So as I’ve mentioned before I have been in the MCYT community for 5 years, since 2020. And, embarrassingly, it was Dream smp. 

One of the things I liked in the fandom were seeing peoples designs. It was fun seeing people interpretation of basically block people- 

But I never liked posting or showing my designs, mostly cause, well- Most of the times I saw the creators pointing out art that looks the closest to their original skin. Or they would point out artists that drew the art closet to their skins. And some of the fans were even critical.

And that’s fine, but to me, it made me embarrassed on how I drew these characters. 

I don’t like drawing plain humans, I really don’t, it’s so hard for me to make basic humans for something or a design cause they’re so boring to me. I have made my first human designs ever for my own story and it was- actually a struggle- I scrolled on pinterest for hours finding stuff that I thought looked creative enough to not make a basic human.

So I also, admittedly, go overboard with designs. Headcanons, the animal or creature I choose for them, my own kinda lore I make. Ya- I go overboard.

And when it came to the life series, and I was seeing most people draw these guys like humans (only one I didn’t see was Grian) I got scared to draw them, not wanting to be faced with what happened before.

But the deeper I went the more and more, I don’t want to use this word but I will, exotic designs I saw. So I got more comfortable and started to draw designs. Admittedly, I drew more of people’s head canons, not really my own. I drew elf scott cause I saw that the most, I drew parrot Grian, Scar as an elf, Pearl as a moth, etc. 

Cause I was still scared so I just went with what the fandom did, never planning on posting, but still if I ever did, I was scared.

That was until, I heard the reaction of the creators to the fandom.

I’ll admit, I don’t know every single one of them. But I know most. I know the rules they set like Tango said he doesn’t mind the blaze head canon but he doesn’t like horns because “just because I have red eyes, doesn’t mean I’m a demon” so I respect that. 

But overall I’ve heard what they’ve said, I’ve seen the reactions. And I don’t think they realize how much this means. Not only their reactions to like animations, but designs as well. 

Knowing Imp and Skizz like the angel and demon headcanon even if they don’t understand it makes me happy. Knowing how much Scott likes to see the different interpretations of his fish skin in Limited Life makes me happy.

After hearing that I got excited and more open to mine.

I scrapped the moth idea for Pearl cause, while I like it, I thought her as a wolf fit more. I made Scott a unicorn instead of an elf because of his mascot and overall, I liked the unicorn headcanon- I made Scar a cat, someone gave me the idea for the peregrine falcon Grian, the dragon Martyn is still one of my favorites next to the sloth bear Bdubs and Tiger Etho. 

I don’t think these creators realize how much compliment not only the art and animations but the designs can mean. 

Cause lets be honest, most of these skins are plain. Impulse basic skin especially- (sorry Impy) so we make these crazy designs to have a little fun. I do at least. Cause, like I said, I can’t draw basic designs. But once I see a character or how a character acts my brain can’t stop with the ideas. 

Oh Etho likes cats and is sneaky? Let's make him a tiger! Notably one of the sneakiest wild cats in the wild! And there’s such a thing as white tigers? Perfect.

Martyn, Martyn, Martyn… what could I make him… Oh! I know! Dragons! While yes they usually have rivalry’s to kings, they’re also loyal to the ones who help and save them. And he had that whole king thing with Ren, beautiful! 

I want to do Bdubs as a bear.. What bear? Ah I know, sloth bears! They’re shaggy creatures but also the most known aggressive bear! Oh and their natural enemies are tigers! Brilliant! 

And of course I do have the designs and head canons others do too but I still try to expand on them.

Tango as a blaze! Pretty common head canon and design that no one really knows the origin too- someone just came up with it- and I liked it so I drew it. But wait- just a blaze is boring- what else could I do… Oh! He has rage moments! Perfect! I like showing characters emotions in weird ways. So I’ll do that with him! In 3rd life he has normal hair that’s pulled back into a ponytail, but as time goes on in the game his hair becomes more and more like fire. And in Last Life, fully turns into fire during his rage moment. And it gets hotter and hotter as he gets more and more angry. Yes!

Or Scott as a unicorn. Okay ya sure I’ve seen this headcanon before and like it. Scottish man is a unicorn alright, alright, what else could I do… Oh I know! Get rid of his horn! Have Ren cut it off in 3rd life and it grows back in Wild life! As well as some hair lore- 

Or watcher Bigb headcanon. I don’t want to make him just a basic human that’s boring! But what do I make him?... well there’s that watcher headcanon I can lean towards that… watcher’s usually have wings like birds… Grian is a peregrine falcon… I want to lean towards that predator bird headcanon… lets ask people…hmmmmm… they say an owl?.. Skizz screams and moves his characters a lot when he gets scared. Oh! I know! I draw him with wings, so lets have him when he’s scared he flaps his huge wings to make himself look bigger. Even though he’s 6 feet- it’s like how birds do irl. 

Impy is a demon. What should I give him? Horns and wings! Perfect! Maybe a tail as well. What could I do for him.. Oh! He’s close friends with Skizz, it would make sense if he picked up something from him. He flaps his wings too when he’s scared!

Basically you get my point. 

Fandom designs are fun, and knowing the creators like or appreciate it or respect it means a lot. It makes me feel free to make these crazy silly designs.

Reunited

I know this isn't my usual post and probably won't get anything from this but I don't really care cause I like this drawing.

Few years ago, before School of Dragons was shut down, I had a deadly nadder named Echo.

I loved her very much. Nadders were my favorite dragon and I finally had one of my own to fly. I did everything with her, every mission imaginable was with her.

I finally got to the point I could upgrade her to a titan. But it was late so I went to bed, planning to do it in the morning.

Woke up, and my SOD restarted

I lost everything, including her.

I was devastated. I deleted the app and never planned on getting it again. I was so mad and just- upset I guess.

Earlier today I found out I could get again, I didn't miss a beat and immediately joined the discord and downloaded it.

As soon as it gave me a choice, I choose a nadder as my first dragon. I got Echo back

And I was able to finish what I started years before.

I also got other dragons I may draw but I had to draw this to celebrate.

Like I said different from usual but I had to post this art cause I was happy with it. If this gets no likes it's fine

Set In The Sky

New AU I'm working on cause I like dragons a lot, I like drawing dragons, I like hermitcraft and the life series, so I made this

No this is not a HTTYD AU

Though I did want to make one, someone is already drawing that and I didn't want to copy them! And the story ideas I had didn't fit in the HTTYD universe

So I made my own dragons! Kinda some are inspired

But Gem is actually the main character in this story
