Voice of the Hunted

It's Hunted's turn now! He has been a bit of a problem child with these recent redesigns, but I'm quite happy with how he turned out <3

Oh, he's been affectionately nicknamed "Kiwi" by my friends because of his color scheme. I'm wondering if my voices should also sometimes call him that as soon as they learn what kiwis are /silly

Have some doodles to go along with the ref! First, Hunted being an absolute cutie! His ears become droopy and floppy when he's relaxed :]

I woke up with the worst back pain I've had in a while, and so as a treat for myself, I decided to make some self-indulgent ParaHero art. I made a quick little gif where they bicker, and then Contrarian yells at them to kiss already. I thought that's where it would end, but oh, was I wrong.

Guys, I think Everest might like ParaHero, just a little bit. I can't tell for sure though! /s

this was really my excuse to draw a bunch of cheateds together because I really like everyone's designs of the voices and wanted to give a gift of sorts to the community :3 I drew as many as I could fit on the page (and had the motivation for), which kind of are the recent designs I saw and the ones I already had saved on my phone (I was offline when I started this...)

but everyone's designs are really good, I wish I could draw them all!! (hopefully I did these guys justice though)

[If you saw it earlier, yes, this is a reupload. My tired brain made a bunch of mistakes, both with the art and with the post </3]

So, when I said I'm in a heavy "draw Cheated" mood, I meant it. And when I said that I love to make my favorite characters suffer, I also meant it. I spent about 5-6 hours making these two illustrations, and I actually feel really bad for Cheated now—

Uh… well, maybe I'll be nicer to my poor guy now.

Also, if anyone correctly guesses what song these illustrations were inspired by, you get a cookie from me (aka Slay the Princess doodle. I mean it, by the way). I adore this song, and it fits the Razor route so well that I actually want to make an animatic out of it in 2025. But for now, I'm happy with these two illustrations instead :]

So, I'm in a heavy "draw Cheated" mood. I looked at my own Cheated design, and then at some of my favorite Cheated designs, and I noticed something:

Also for the record, I am NOT actually gonna mess with my Cheated's eyes. I just like being a little gremlin :]

We’ve seen your Hero design without his helm, but what about the others with their masks? Are they removable?

Okay!! People have had way more questions about the masks than I anticipated but thanks to the expanded Fury route I finally have some answers! The masks CAN be removed! The catch being that without the mask, they cease to exist :). What this looks like for the Fury Route's "Unwound" ending is as follows:

Two Cheated's means bad luck comes in spades, but together they can cancel it out!!

A friend and I had a conversation about how voices would act if they played a team shooter. We came to a conclusion that Cheated & Stubborn would repeatedly throw, and Paranoind would be a healer, who's really fed up with the rest of his team.

And so, I sketched it out, I present to you Slay the Princess voices playing Overwatch. For no reason other than "it would be really funny" :]

And then I drew a Part 2 to it:
