I remember seeing (or maybe I dreamed it) a fic of a continuation of the voices' story after the [leave the cabin] ending.

each voice settles into their own corner of the construct (if they had an okay relationship with their route's princess), then building a nest. I like to imagine Paranoid is constantly racked with nightmares, and since Hunted's nest is the coziest and best-built, he'd always choose to spend the night with him.

i tried the same method Black Tabby does... making a traditional sketch then painting it digitally. its the same technique @/itsonlypolite uses. pretty sweet...

(i can't find the exact post, but itsonlypolite described duplicating the sketch layer, with the one on top being set as multiply. it works fabulously!)

This was just kind of something to keep me busy but I'm pretty proud of it-

Cold and Paranoid are easily my favorite voices and one thing that drives me insane about them is that THEY KNOW!!

Cold is immediately locked in about the Long Quiet. When the narrator says you're special, he replies, of course you're special, like it's the most obvious thing in the world. Cold isn't scared of the mirror. In the Oblivion scenes, Cold says it feels like home. Which considering it's made out of TLQ, yeah?? Fury calls them nothing and Cold is like no she's right we are nothing, get her with the nothing, and all the other voices are extremely confused about what the fuck he's talking except for TLQ.

Paranoid is almost unconsciously immediately aware of the rules of this place. He quickly harnesses the power of belief to manually control their autonomic nervous system, which how and why did he think that would work?? Because he's based as hell, next question. When the Narrator TELLS him how things work, he IMMEDIATELY gets to work, putting them into Godslayer mode because he's the goat. He sees reality disappear in your happy ending and immediately figures out that everything is fucking fake and you can control it with your thoughts and he starts doing that to get your ass free!! The chains are rusted, stop asking questions.

Sure, it's not like the other voices have no skills in regards to the construct or you. Paranoid needs everyone to believe to actually do half the stuff he's doing. Cheated can throw you around the construct, and Contarain and Stubbon can keep you from dying. But Contarain and Stubbon already had the idea that death means nothing implanted by the fact that you already came back to life once, and Cheated seemed surprised when he actually managed to teleport you to the cabin. Paranoid is on an entirely different level of controlling the construct/affecting the princess, and Cold is on a different level of you

I like to think the two of them lived their lives before witnessing the end of Narrator's world. Then they'd go back to their god selves and tell them about mortals.

Narrator was a misguided soul, but I believe his purpose had good intentions. It'd be nice if he still made a difference. Maybe the two gods decided to give mortals a bit of mercy after experiencing the true terror of death as actual mortals for the first time.
